Hell, I've just found out I'm expecting No. 3 mid November, and am very excited. A bit scared too - I can't remember a thing! How can I possibly have done this twice already??? Hope more of you can join me soon!

Monkey - try Olbas oil - a few drops on your pillow or a tissue - really works to clear blocked nose!
Elliott - I am due 4th dec - 9 weeks on Thur!!!

WWW, sorry, forgot to add yesterday: good luck with the move. Rather you than me, but then probably better than after the baby's born?? That's what I keep telling myself about our building site (new roof) at the moment. Don't let anyone talk you into carrying anything heavy, though.

whellid · 30/09/2003 14:16

Good luck for tomorrow WWW, I hope the move goes well, and as Sprout says don't be tempted to move anything heavy.
We're sending ds to my parents at the weekend so that we can get the house sorted out, as the baby will have to share a new room with ds, and I'll have to move my 'office' into the room that ds has at the moment. I have spent the last 2 weeks repeatedly telling dh that I will not be able to move the furniture around, but it doesn't seem to be sinking in yet!
At least we are starting to get organised, but with only 5 and a half weeks to go it's about time!

elliott · 30/09/2003 14:29

Yes, good luck for tomorrow www, hope the pc gets unpacked first
We've just been clearing out a house so we can rent it and it nearly killed me, so I'll second the advice not to overdo it! We still have to rearrange our home - new baby will go in what is currently the study, the contents of which will have to be packed away and stored somewhere, god knows where....we have yet to identify where we are going to put the computer, dh seems to think we don't need it permanently set up - but I will go mad if I have to endure maternity leave without easy access to my cyberfixes

big move day for www - hope it goes smoothly & not too much stress. Also for all of you rearranging your houses. I think all is in place here apart from re-housing the guinea pigs, who currently live in the baby's room-to-be.

Not long to go .

elliott · 01/10/2003 17:19

Now tell me why there are so many more November than December due dates - are people really that organised about avoiding Christmas babies??

elliott · 01/10/2003 17:20

Even curiouser - pretty well all the Dec babes are either unplanned or have particular reasons not to be bothered about the precise timing (e.g. me and Ruth21)

whellid · 01/10/2003 17:47

Wow Elliott, I am impressed! Have been told 6th / 7th and 8th as I've seen different people so who knows!
No idea why November is more popular, can't have been much to do in February and this November baby wasn't planned either!

tinyfeet · 01/10/2003 17:55

Go Elliot! Sweet of you to compile the list. Mine was a complete accident, as I am one of those who believes that a birthday near Christmas is really bad. I'm still hoping for a January birth. How are you and Whellid feeling? I'm gigantic already, but feeling pretty good in general.

chanelno5 · 01/10/2003 18:05

Hi everyone

Haven't checked in for a while. Now 34 wks + 1 day (yes, I'm counting the days!) Things are ok with me, though feeling really knackered and short-tempered, bump is quite low so getting very uncomfortable. Sorry to hear some people have been having probs, hope things get better soon.

elliott - good idea to do a list, there are so many of us it's easy to lose track. I am due on the 11 Nov, though as the other 3 were late I'm not expecting to get off the hook early!

www - hope the move went well.

monkey · 01/10/2003 19:21

elliott - you've got too much time on your hands! No, it is great tho' to see everyone - then we'll be able to tick us off the list one by one. My date is 13th btw. 6 weeks tomorrow.

Elliott, well done for doing the list. And welcome back, Chanelno5.
As far as having a due date in November is concerned, it's pure coincidence in my case - after 13 months of ttc I'd even have been pleased to be due on Christmas Day (well, just about!). Must have been something in the air last February that finally got things going...

susanmt · 02/10/2003 10:17

I'm starting a new thread!! This one is getting silly when I try to do a reply!
The December thing was totally an accident in our case, but I have a December birthday myself and it's fine. My parents were always very good about keeping them seperate and we used to put up the CHristmas tree the day after my birthday. I just want mine to be early like the other 2 were!
