Oh actually, go for it.
The phrase "any news?" is BANNED. Offenders will be sat on by the most overdue woman present.

I am sitting here with my baby boy Lucian who was born at home this morning at 3 am
weight 9 lb 3 oz

he is perfect

Well done Franny, I am so pleased you got your home birth. Now perhaps my little one will decide to put in an appearance, maybe he/she has been politely waiting for Lucian to arrive.

No signs yet, but surely it is only a matter of time!

I woke up this morning and read through from where I left off last night and reading the post of your birth announcement actually brought tears to my eyes!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy your new baby and I hope all is well
