Come here and obsess about mucus, etc.
Have fun.
Try not to swear too much.
Oh actually, go for it.
The phrase "any news?" is BANNED. Offenders will be sat on by the most overdue woman present.

well done springer and hatrick

CantSleepWontSleep · 21/07/2008 07:56

I thought Nico was a dead cert! Congratulations hatrick and WMF!

EEC · 21/07/2008 09:05

Congrats Hatrick. Agree lovely name.

You must be soooo fed up mrsmcleod. Today must be the day.... Hope so.

41+1 here. Boo hoo.

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 21/07/2008 09:05

Congratulations Hatrick and WMF, and welcome to baby Cassius.

MrsM - It will happen and odd's are it will be in the next few days. Chill, eat, sleep and accept that it is going to happen just that you don't know when!

mrsmacleod · 21/07/2008 09:13

Every day I think, "this must be it". I've been having niggly aches and BHs on and off for 4 weeks. 2 x sweeps (another today). Maybe cake is the answer

fryalot · 21/07/2008 09:14

in my experience, cake is almost always the answer.

What was the question?

mrsmacleod · 21/07/2008 09:27

The question is always, "when the hell is this bloody baby planning to make an appearance?"

thritbies · 21/07/2008 09:28

Yay! Another one logging on asap from school run with sole intention of looking for hatrick's news! Am so pleased for you all x

Umlellala · 21/07/2008 09:33

congrats ladies and welcome babies!

fryalot · 21/07/2008 09:39

mrsMc - the answer is always "I don't know, let's have another piece of cake while we think about it"

I predict your baby will appear on Wednesday night at 11.10pm which is good because there's nowt on the telly you'll be missing

jaspersslave · 21/07/2008 09:55

woo hoo dp has finally taken a day off so i can mooch and moan without ds and dd hanging around.

41wks today and in agony with every step

pass the cake

min912 · 21/07/2008 10:09

Congrats Springer and Hatrick! Yey!
Well today is my due date so I suppose I am still technically not overdue until midnight... thought something might actually be happening in the middle of the night as I had constant period-type pain. Only problem was it wasn't on-off like contractions, it was just a constant dull ache for a couple of hours, so every time I turned over I was aware of it and woke up even more than usual, grrr. Ended up getting up about 2.30am and bouncing on ball a bit in the hope it might trigger things, but to no avail... just had to take some paracetemol and go back to bed instead!

Fortunately friends and family are helping to distract me by upping the ante on the 'just checking to see how you are' calls and texts .

I must be annoying DH more than usual because as he left for work he suggested the natural prostaglandins method tonight. Bring it on...

MamaG · 21/07/2008 12:22

Congratulations hatrick, so pleased Cassius made his appearance at last

EEC · 21/07/2008 12:47

What flavour cake? Chocolate fudge?

mrsmacleod · 21/07/2008 13:22

Ooh, Wednesday night would be perfect - thank you squonk.

I no longer get calls asking "any news", instead people keep calling me with positive induction stories they've heard

mummy2bsoon · 21/07/2008 13:52

ne1 else still overdue?
im no longer likign this thread, its becum a birthin announcement one

congrats too all the new mummys, im very jealous!!!! andvery happy for u!

Squarah · 21/07/2008 14:00

Can I mooch even 'though I don't go officially overdue till friday?? I've been fine with still being pregnant until last night - not able to sleep till 230 after sugar-filled munchings, sore back, reflux, swollen trotters etc and nearly died when I thought I saw a stretch mark. Luckily it disappeared but it would appear that I've lost my sense of humour and now want this baby OUT .

Big support to properly overdue chicas!

jamiesummers · 21/07/2008 15:58

Squarah

i'm not overdue til friday either but have been posting, mooching and moaning on this thread for the last few days!

Lets hope we don't have to endure anymore restless nights like we have both been experiencing and please don't have your'e baba before me!!

Squarah · 21/07/2008 16:56

I can't promise anything jamiesummers but there are certainly no signs of it.

And apparently it's going to get really hot this week which will be lovely [deep sarcasm face]. BUT then there might be some really cool thunderstorms to have our babies in and we can tell them about the wild weather they were born into.... do I sound like I've read too many fairy stories??

EEC · 21/07/2008 17:01

Been for a long walk (well long for me in my current state) - but no twinges. Come out , darn it!!!

Anyone know how much more likely I am to have to be induced with a posterior baby?

mummy2bsoon · 21/07/2008 17:02

lol....

ahhh so how many of us lot left...

pigleychez · 21/07/2008 17:54

Just been for a long walk round the lake in a vain attempt to shift baby.

Tried the currys, sex and think im turning into a pineapple!!

Now 9 days overdue and due to induced tomorow evening.

Congrats to Hatrick....

Would love to hear your thoughts on your stay at East Surrey as thats where I will be heading this time tomorow.

sweetkitty · 21/07/2008 18:12

Huge congratulations to Hatrick and Springer will catch up better later

FabioTheWhisperingCat · 21/07/2008 22:31

Hurray for hatrick!
Congratulations!

Love that name - I knew a family years ago, in which all the children had classical names. I think one was Agamemnon...but there was deffo a Cassius.

Everyone has given their babies top names on this thread. Jolly well done.

EEC · 22/07/2008 08:07

Just clocking in. 9 days over now and still here...

Thinking of you Pigley - you will have your baby really soon now... How exciting.

Mine will be here forever. Seeing mw tomorrow - don't know when they will induce. She said not til 42 weeks, which is good I suppose, but Aaaagggghhhh. I can't wait any longer!
