I am 2 days over now and no signs whatsoever

oh butterfly you will have a beautiful little newborn soon (surprise flavour?) how exciting, that little floppy head, lovely dark blue eyes, button nose, mad little arms and legs, knees that are baggy and the skin doesn't quite fit them, that newborn smell, OMG I'm so broody now.

hatrick - I think I will cry if MW tells me cervix is the same as it was on Wednesday.

I want her to say "oh your 8cms" think I'll hang about a bit.

in my youth i was a confident natural birther - now a jibbering wreck begging for drugs!

my lovely friend who is helping with my dcs tomorrow will not let me forget that text. She is kind of loudly spoken and posh and loves to tell people in groups about what i put!!

Hatrick - I've not been swept yet either - MW coming weds to do it (7 days over) but I'm hoping I'll go before then as DP working away thurs fri - he can cancel but it would be easier not to.

Actually I think we may now be agreed on middle name ..yaay! So I expect to go into labour in about 10mins

Right am off to bed hopefully to wake DP up in the middle of the night although he doesn't want baby to be born on his birthday but sod him.

the hospital have been delightful so far- not been before but small - accommodating and kind...

sweep is this afternoon, I got in complete wibble last night about how I would get to town afterwards to pick up ds from friend who is looking after him
I thought I might be too sore and perhaps wobbly
anyway dp the hero is working from home so is going to give me a lift there and back - luxury

Morning fellow fed up ladies, still two people here, quite a few BHs and stabbing fanjo pains but nothing, looks like DP won't be sharing his birthday (although she still has time).

F&Z - have you ever had a sweep before? Honestly it's not that bad, bit undignified and uncomfortable. Hopefully I'll get another one today and my cervis will have changed a bit.

hatrick - thought you were set on Nico, I love ginger hair though so striking, better than boring, common brown.

I am 3 days over now on my first and a bit bored/impatient. Had a sweep last Thursday and cervix was thinned and effaced but still no movement. Have had pains for the last few weeks but nothing happening. Due to be induced on Sunday so hoping to avoid that
