I am 2 days over now and no signs whatsoever

Franny - that is definitely a show to me, DD1's was like a blob of clear jelly with a tiny pink tinge, DD2's was just clear. I think you are well on your way my dear. The lying down thing is a good one whenever I have BHs I lie down they do away, if it were the real thing they wouldn't go away.

Two paracetamol and a bath yeah it helps when you have had 3 contractions in 10 minutes and feel like you are being split in 2. Two paracetamol don't even help a half decent headache FFS.

It'd better start today, My mystic powers said it would!

well whether paracetamol and heat helped or just it has passed, it is better now, anyway

thanks all again, it is so dull and tedious but hard to think of anything else when you are at home on your own

course its hard to think of anything else when you're alone, I obsessed about my overdueness as DH worked every night until 11.30

I even bounced for 5 mins on the DDs trampoline this afternoon, felt like my insides were going to fall through my fanjo and had to get off for the toilet but still nothing!

definitely sounds like you have had a show, frances. get thee to bed for an early night, your body will let you know if you need to pay attention to it. bath, bonk and bed young lady !!

I did walking today well a little bit, pelvis killing me had to take painkiller but no baby.

Does anyone else have loads of discharge downstairs and keep thinking it's a show so check their pants every hour or is it just me?

I thought I had made a prediction somewhere about who would go into labour when, and now I can't find it.

I had hatrick down for tonight, and Franny for Tuesday.

Does anyone else feel BHs should just f* right off unless they are proper contractions? I am so fed up with BHs.

SK - am with you on the knicker checking and fed up with BHs too ...sometimes they're properly strong and come in waves so I think 'eh up here we go...' then sod all

I've decided that this baby is staying put cos dp and I haven't agreed on a middle name yet so I've got him surfing baby name sites now (dp that is).
