Hey folks. Thought I’d set up a thread for those expecting in September next year. I got my bfp yesterday at 10dpo on Christmas Day 🥹. I think my due date would be around 6th September. It would be nice to keep in touch with some ladies going through similar things. Xxx

I’ve been getting a lot of very strong braxton hicks and feeling like I need the loo coming in waves so I think things are moving in the right direction but also not kidding myself I won’t go to 42 weeks like I did first time round 🤣 so hard at this stage when you’re mentally done isn’t it!

Hahah not yet! Got sweep tomorrow though so be interesting to know if I’m dilated at all!

anyone else still not actually ready for the arrival of a baby? House is still a total mess and not finished even packing my hospital bag 🤦🏻‍♀️ we got food poisoning over the weekend and it totally derailed all my plans to sort stuff out lol

yeah it was awful, thankfully the toddler didn’t get it too! She refused to eat thankfully which saved us from that disaster haha

My girlie arrived early. She's my first and I have no idea what I'm doing lol. I guess I'm doing something right because she's 16 days old and held her head up by herself for 4 seconds.

Really quickly actually. Stopped bleeding on day 4. Got depression on day 13 so working through that but physically doing really well.

Look after yourself mumma, hope you can get the support you need. Post natal is the wildest thing- sounds like you’re doing an amazing job with your little one though

@unsureforevermore they couldn’t do the full sweep as couldn’t quite get finger around his head as tucked into pelvis a bit too much. But did a stretch, had a bit of bleeding but nothing else!

So I was 3cm with favourable cervix !! She did a sweep and stretched me to 4cm!! She said she’ll be surprised if I’m still pregnant after the weekend!! Which I’m surprised about ! So gingers crossed x but my god it was uncomfy I’ve had a bit of bleeding too! How far you dilated x

@unsureforevermoreshe didn’t tell me how dilated which was annoying! I even asked and she just brushed my question off…wasn’t my normal midwife. But it didn’t hurt though i did bleed a bit after.
I have another booked for Monday, so hoping that is more successful lol 😂

I’m with you! Both my kids was over 41.5 weeks so not expecting this one come early, however she’s been giving me a lot of pain and difficulties, I do want her out!

I’ve previously used nct and then later peanut apps to find mum friends close to me. I did really like nct as the babies had similar due date, but with 2 older kids already, don’t think need all the lessons again plus it’s a bit late 😅
so was wondering if anyone is in near me in SW London?

@unsureforevermore any updates after your sweep? Mine has defo not worked lol 😂 just more prodomal labour over night but that’s been happening for weeks!

NO BABY. I feel like it’s made it worse she’s told me that she’d be surprised if I was still pregnant after the weekend ! I’m on edge I lost my plug yesterday but I’ve just got period like pains nothing else so frustrating haha
