Hey folks. Thought I’d set up a thread for those expecting in September next year. I got my bfp yesterday at 10dpo on Christmas Day 🥹. I think my due date would be around 6th September. It would be nice to keep in touch with some ladies going through similar things. Xxx

And it doesn’t help the last scan found I was polyhydraminos, then I sat in triage for 3 hours and then being dismissed by a midwife saying doctor is happy for me to go home?!!! (Wtf). That day I was overwhelmed but later tried to complain and get a doctor to call me back, so no luck. Not exactly what I need in this discomfort state!

Second sweep also couldn’t be done 😂 1cm dilated so almost certainly will be induced on Thursday at 39 weeks…assuming a bed available!

How come they will be inducing you at 39 weeks? Awww that’s a bummer about the sweep!

still no further forward! And I have tried everything just done the Rasputin labour just dance with the kids too haha

I have some health conditions that don’t affect baby but do massively impact my quality of life, and I can’t take any meds to help whilst pregnant. So consultant has agreed to 39 week induction so I don’t have to be in agony for any longer than necessary!

That’s such bad care from triage! The wait here is also crazy long if you end up needing to be seen. Are they going to give you any more info on the poly? I actually ended up with this in my first pregnancy but ended up going into labour the day after the scan so nothing ever really came of it.

my daughter's started having pains so went to get checked out she's 2cms. they have told her to go for a walk and go back shortly so we will see if she's gonna progress a bit more. but she's due on the 23rd.

shes now waiting on a c section as he's not come down.

@unsureforevermoresorry delayed response it’s been chaos haha. Induction started fine and then had to be stopped, as my body over reacted and had too many contractions. But by that point my labour had started anyway so my body naturally carried on. But defo done having kids now, not doing that again 🤣🤣

I’m currently 9 days overdue! Was booked in for induction 2 days ago however due to no staff been sent home last two days think I’ll be pregnant forever at this rate 😭

@unsureforevermoreyou won’t be!!! Hopefully they can get you in soon, if not your body will hopefully do what it needs to and you won’t need the induction! Thinking of you!

Ended up emergency section 24 hours of waters been broken on a drip - nothing changed in my cervix at all 5cm dilated for weeks

baby girl born 10lb 11!!!!! The surgeon said actually the section she would not have been born naturally

@unsureforevermoresorry it ended as an emergency c-section but how exciting she is here and clearly in the safest way she could have arrived! Big girl going to be nice and strong! How you feeling??
