Starting a new thread and hope it will fill up in the next few weeks

I am a bit nervous starting this group as I am still SO early, only just testing positive this morning at 9DPO, ive taken 3 tests just to be sure. Hoping for a sticky bean, I am not a stranger to chemical pregnancies so really keeping everything crossed, its so nerve wracking!

I've gone off 'conception date' rather than LMP as I ovulate late, and for me, its more accurate - this brings me to due date 1st August 2026.

If others would like, I can start a Facebook group, maybe in a few weeks, I found the group sooo useful with my first little one! Let me know 🥰

How is everyone? Any symptoms yet?

Hey, my due date is 5th of August. I am 35 and this is my 3rd pregnancy, I will have a 10 year old and 13 year old by the time I have this baby.

I had no nausea at all with DS, so I’m a bit concerned about having it this time because of work. Only pain so far is very, very sore boobs (same as before) and I feel like I feel very loving towards DH!

@PandaOrLionsame here with the feeling loving. Usually before my period I can’t stand him 😂😂😂

Absolutely. I remember with DS at the 4-6 week sobbing all the time because I felt such care towards anyone and anything! So different from period rage.

Hello! My due date from ovulation is the 3rd of august, I ovulated late though so LMP puts it at 30th July. I got my BFP last Monday which was 14dpo. Nine cycles it took us to get here so pretty excited. I'm already a mum of one little boy who will be seven by the time this one is born.
I've already started with morning sickness (lucky me...)

I collected the Emma’s Diary bags today (sign up via the app and collect boots and Argos). Lots of vouchers and some pregnancy vitamins so it’s worth doing early. Then there’s stuff like nappies and wipes too.

Is anyone else about 5 weeks and gets very mild cramps? Mine started to become more frequent (last maybe a minute or less) and then happen maybe 3/4 times a day. No bleeding or spotting but it’s my first pregnancy and just want to make sure everything is ok

@ClarysjbYes, it's totally normal 😊 Just everything stretching and growing down there. I've even had spotting at the same time as some cramping in a previous pregnancy and it was fine.
I am 5 weeks and get cramps in my lower stomach and back on and off.

Thank you, so many years of lower stomach pain meaning my period was about to arrive just has me on edge!

It almost seems silly to be nervous, doesn't it. We should be pro's by now 😂

Can I join? I’ve just been through my 5th embryo transfer. I am 4 weeks today Saturday 29th at 11.30am haha- only good thing about ivf is knowing dates to the hour! I’m really nervous. I hope it sticks.

I’ve attached two tests (Clear blue and easy at home) from Friday 28th and a FRER from Thursday 27th. My due date should be 8th August.

Aww due date twins!

Morning everyone! Just checking in to see how we're all doing? These early days seem to go SO slowly.

I think nausea is creeping up on me, felt it yesterday afternoon and now today (and after I've eaten so isn't hunger related) so going to try and keep nibbling on stuff throughout the day.

I have a Tupperware of crackers in my bedside table already! Although mine only seems to be when I eat a big portion of food, so I’ve cut down to small regular meals instead.

agreed, the days are dragging! 3 weeks until our 8 weeks scan and then we’ll tell family after that if all is well

I had spotting from 12dpo- 14dpo. I’m now 16dpo and luckily it seems to have completely stopped 🤞 symptom wise- I don’t have too much to report. I have had flickers of nausea, sensitive boobs, sore back, cramps… but nothing that very obviously screams “pregnant!” 😅

definitely think time is going sooooo slowly right now. I tested positive last Sunday so it’s been almost a week of knowing already and yet im only 4 weeks pregnant 😂 I have a scan booked for 22nd Dec when I’ll be 7+2. It honestly feels like a lifetime away 😂

Oh I need to do that! I remember a tub of Ritz crackers by my bed was a lifesaver when I was pregnant with my little boy.

We must be around the same time, I'm 5+4 and due 28th - although I'm taking it from my ovulation date and not my lmp a signs all pointed to that happening earlier (and a positive 10 days later so I think more accurate than lmp this time)

I’m 5+2 today going to LMP but I think my dates are more similar to yours if I go by ovulation which I think was 2/3 days earlier since I got a positive at 10DPO too!

I’m so tired- was I this tired before perhaps though?! Cramps here too and I’m really sensitive to smells again.

I’ll be offered a viability scan through the hospital 3 weeks after OTD which is Monday. So I’m guessing I’ll get to see something Christmas week.

Hopefully it is actually viable. I just feel like period symptoms.

Can the Facebook group go back to being private? One option would be that anyone wanting to join has to be a fb friend of someone in it - that can make it easier for someone to join i think?

I am so very tired. I wonder if it's because I'm 4 years older this time than with my last pregnancy, and 9 years older than my first! It feels very different this time. No bad sickness yet, which I'm very grateful for although it is making me a little worried, but terrible headaches and I feel like it's always the middle of the night with how tired I am.
