Starting a new thread and hope it will fill up in the next few weeks

I am a bit nervous starting this group as I am still SO early, only just testing positive this morning at 9DPO, ive taken 3 tests just to be sure. Hoping for a sticky bean, I am not a stranger to chemical pregnancies so really keeping everything crossed, its so nerve wracking!

I've gone off 'conception date' rather than LMP as I ovulate late, and for me, its more accurate - this brings me to due date 1st August 2026.

If others would like, I can start a Facebook group, maybe in a few weeks, I found the group sooo useful with my first little one! Let me know πŸ₯°

How is everyone? Any symptoms yet?

Are you having much progression when you compare the lines?

@Leonie1992 Lovely, that's not barely visible! That's a great line! I had faint lines until about 15dpo. Although in hindsight I think I ovulated later than I thought possible, which is probably also the case for you. Please don't fret! Also, I had negative digitals. They only serve to torture us! I'll find a pic of my early progression to show you xx

I had faint lines for DAYS! @Leonie1992

@Jojo1203I was 7+2 yesterday at the scan.

Raisingafootballteam · 13/12/2025 10:57

Hi all.

Tentatively poking my head out into the group.
I am 6+4 today with baby #4. A huge shock and a very bumpy journey so far but we had an early pregnancy unit scan yesterday which showed a 6+3 baby with a heartbeat which was a relief!

Its my 8th pregnancy with 3x history of chemicals and a missed miscarriage (stopped growing at yolksac stage but didnt find out until 9 weeks, then miscarried over christmas) so im finding being pregnant again with very similar dates very stressful.

As we didnt know the dates either i had a scan last week which only showed a gestational sac so i was pretty convinced i was out so the scan yesterday was such lovely reassurance. Im also on progesterone again which helped me maintain my last pregnancy.

Looking forward to getting to know you all!

@Raisingafootballteam Hello! We sound like we've had really similar experiences. It's my 9th pregnancy and I have 3 children. This will be baby number 4. I also had a MMC. Sending you a big hug as I know the anxiety all too well!

Had my scan with early pregnancy this morning, really thought I was having a miscarriage, been so emotional. I thought I was 7 and a half weeks pregnant, private scan said I was a week behind and scan with hospital say I’m only 5 and a half. No signs of early miscarriage although I’m bleeding, also no heartbeat (again!) as still showing too early. Private scan already booked for 23rd and hospital want me back in 27th. I am hoping and praying this bleeding stops and we can see a healthy growing bean soon πŸ₯Ί

mummatara · 14/12/2025 13:35

@BabyW26I'm sorry your still in limbo it really it the worst place to be because you just want to know what’s going on. Have they said what might be causing the bleeding? Unfortunately it’s one of those situations where you just have to wait and see and when baby gets bigger you should get a clearer picture of what’s going on. I’ve been there with the waiting before and I drove myself mad. If you’ve got something that can distract you then try and get some things to do.

BabyW26 · 14/12/2025 13:47

@mummatarathank you for your kind words. They said suspected implantation bleeding , but it’s getting heavier and darker which is sending me into a downward spiral. You say you were driving yourself mad and I’m doing the same! Spent the past hour crying. Going to call EPU again tomorrow, this doesn’t seem right but as for now going to keep myself busy as suggested. Thank you ☹️

Awh, sending you virtual hugs! This is a horrible place to be, I know that you are now overcome with this but please also aknowledge that dark blood means slow bleed, dark blood means that the blood has oxidized by the time it hit fabric, so that as such could be a sign that the bleeding is actually stopping. You do not want bright blood, because that means fresh and rapid bleeding which indicates a substantial shed.

Ranamo · 14/12/2025 16:36

are there any watsapp group chats for women due in august?

wandatotherescue · 14/12/2025 17:23

Hi all, very eventful day.. I woke this morning with dark bleeding and some clots, as well as cramping pain in my cervix. I’ve been having spotting every couple of days but this was more. We called 111 and got sent to an urgent care centre where I was assessed and booked in at EPU. I was scanned (for the first time) and it was confirmed that the embryo was safe and we managed to see a heartbeat at 5weeks+4!! So amazing for me and DH to see, especially as I was convinced I was miscarrying, and my first ever pregnancy. They did see a hematoma in the uterus which is where the blood is coming from. A doctor also assessed my cervix too. Know the NHS can be hit and miss but I really had such a good experience today, everyone was so kind. Feeling very lucky and relieved, definitely feels more real now. I have a private scan coming up this Friday, that I’d already booked and then the EPU today booked me in for another scan in 2 weeks. So it’s gonna be scans galore!

bigbaggyblue · 14/12/2025 20:11

Is anyone else still breastfeeding? I’m 6w today and I can’t quite believe how painful it is to latch!!!

BabyW26 · 14/12/2025 20:38

@Xurthank you for explaining that to me, it is dark so I will remain hopeful πŸ₯°

@wandatotherescuethat is so amazing how you’ve seen the heartbeat so early, congratulations!

BunnyWilliams · 14/12/2025 20:45

@bigbaggyblue I'm not but you have my sympathy! That must be so painful!!

Faithincats · 15/12/2025 10:39

@bigbaggyblue I am but I haven't noticed any changes/pain yet... I'm only 5+1 though, so it might be a bit early still!

bigbaggyblue · 15/12/2025 10:40

@Faithincatsoh no I noticed them as early as that so hopefully you’ll be okay!
