Starting a new thread and hope it will fill up in the next few weeks

I am a bit nervous starting this group as I am still SO early, only just testing positive this morning at 9DPO, ive taken 3 tests just to be sure. Hoping for a sticky bean, I am not a stranger to chemical pregnancies so really keeping everything crossed, its so nerve wracking!

I've gone off 'conception date' rather than LMP as I ovulate late, and for me, its more accurate - this brings me to due date 1st August 2026.

If others would like, I can start a Facebook group, maybe in a few weeks, I found the group sooo useful with my first little one! Let me know 🥰

Hi ladies, I’m so confused! I’ve had about 3 negative one step eBay strip tests one positive and 2 shadow lines, 2 faint clear blue tests and 2 faint boots early tests and now this morning a negative clear blue digital! I’m 10dpo, period due in 8 days. I had a chemical a few months ago and just so worried that this is the same! Has anyone had similar happen to them and a negative digital but been pregnant? Wish I never wasted it now! Also none of my other positives have been fmu all mid day.

@Leonie1992 Congratulations, you're definitely pregnant! It's just early, hence the faint positives. The cheap strip tests tend to be less sensitive, which is why you might not see lines on them yet. The Clearblue digitals are notorious for giving false negatives when used early. Once the test line is closer to the colour of the control line, you should get a positive digital. For me personally, I just don't use them because they end up being a waste of money and a slippery slope to anxiety!

I found out I was pregnant last Wednesday at 9dpo, the test was pretty faint then and has progressed decently I feel but I’m still feeling quite a bit on edge about it?

is anyone in a similar position and how do you stop yourself from spiralling constantly? Its because of my last pregnancy that stayed faint lines and progressed so slowly.. even though things did eventually progress and we had our baby (we’d lost a twin) it’s still stressing me out 😭

I know there’s nothing I can do to change whatever the outcome will be but I can’t help but stress every now and then, I’ll go from yes I’m pregnant to I don’t think this will work out every few hours or when I get a minute to stop and think too much 🥲
i realllllly don’t want to do with the mental health side of things this close to Christmas if it doesn’t work out 😭

Hello everyone, how is everyone feeling, I’m nearly 7 weeks I think early scan on Friday will hopefully give us a more accurate date sickness is in full swing, either being sick or constantly feeling sick if anyone’s got any tip too relieve the nausea I’m all ears I’m so fed up of feeling sick already 😭

I’m taking chewing gum, it suppresses it 😂

Does anyone have any tips for cooking for children with nausea and pretty heavy food aversions?
I make dinner for my 2 and 4 year old as my partner doesn’t make it home until late but right now all I can manage to cook is pasta or roasted veggies…😟 As we can’t survive on that for 6 weeks any ideas are appreciated!

I’ve found having a bowl of crackers so I can constantly graze on the them helps and when I’m feeling nauseous sour sweets are doing the trick

Baby number 3! Just found up at 11dpo, we have been trying for nearly 2 years, thanks PCOS. Excited but nervous. Due mid August.

Due 4th august, had a chemical in October and found out I was pregnant last month, now 6 weeks pregnant and full of worry!! Trying to enjoy but constant nausea if I don’t eat is getting me, I work in a nursery so surrounded by woman who I don’t want to tell yet!! Not heard from midwife yet as they don’t contact until 7 weeks in my area so hopefully get my booking appointment sorted next week, we have also
booked a private scan on the 23rd for my own sanity!! Any advise to stop the worrying?!!

The he title of the group says” due in August” but it should be “Schrödinger’s August crew” because we may or may not be pregnant 😂

Thank you for your message. I’ve since had an early positive digital so I’m holding off taking my regular weeks digital till the 18th which is the day I’m due on! I had a chemical a few months ago and so worried that this will turn out the same, it’s going to be a long week! Xx

Hey! Congratulation! I also had a chemical a few months ago and I’m struggling with worry that this pregnancy will also end the same way! I’m not due my period till 18th so this is going to be a very long wait! I’m stopping testing as they are all faint lines and I’m wasting so much money xx

Congratulations my first test was a day before my period was due and was so so faint! I’ll add a picture but now have such dark lines so I know everything is okay, just so hard to wait until a scan! Constant worry! We’ve got this though 🌈 🤞🤞

Congrats on all new joiners! And I hope the scans go well for those having them soon 🤞I’m booked in for a private scan on the 29th. Exhaustion and bloating have been unreal and the nausea has picked up, unfortunately! I got a call the other day booking in my dating scan for mid-Jan (I’m in Canada so they do that at 10 weeks) and I just hope everything will be okay. I dare say I forgot how hard the first trimester is… so many unknowns, so many hopes, so many uncomfortable symptoms! Sending solidarity to anyone feeling the same- you have a pal on the other side of the pond!

Hey guys, took another clear blue and it’s negative still with second morning urine! I’m so gutted. I took another early tests just now and it’s so faint, still 6 days till my period and 12dpo. Can this be okay or it it a chemical :(( still feeling sick.

Is it an ultra early digital? I think the earliest they pick up is 6 days before missed period, whereas a normal digital wouldn’t pick it up till a few days before possibly.

I think this line looks good for 13dpo afternoon urine!

I have taken an early digital which was positive but the normal ones both negative. I didn’t know if my hcg should be more as I’m 12 dpo and found out at 8dpo, yet my period isn’t due for 6 days, wasn’t sure if that made a difference with my cycle being longer?
