Hey, anyone else due July 2026? I got my first faint positive at 10dpo on Thursday 23rd October, I’m now 14dpo/4 weeks pregnant. Feeling nervous as still very early my period was due tomorrow. I’ve booked an early scan for in a few weeks so hopefully everything is all good, now just an anxious wait

Tentatively dipping my toe in the thread ... got a positive yesterday but didn’t believe it but just taken these 4... guess it must be true!

We have been trying almost 2 years and due to start IVF in January. This is my first time ever seeing a definitive positive on multiple tests. Aware it is so early and there are no guarantees but even to see that word after so long had me sobbing in the bathroom at 4am!

Plus today is my husband's birthday so going to wake him up in a few hours with tea and the tests 😭🄹

I had also been on mounjaro (can see some others on thread have) - literally just came off it ready for IVF prep. Gone from 38 BMI to 28.

NHS says due 24th July - my late dad's birthday 🄰

@nekophoenix from my last pregnancy and what it says online you definitely take for first trimester. And then my midwife said to continue with pregnancy multivitamin which had that in for the rest as it did no harm but best to have vitamins bump needs

Andrasa · 09/11/2025 08:04

Six and a half weeks now and I caught some sort of covid/cold/flu again. 😩 suspect I wouldn’t even notice any pregnancy symptoms over my throat being on fire. Another ten days left of my trip before I can go home and just rest, but thankfully some cold and flu drugs and a sneaky nap between the days activities and going out for dinner has kept me from missing anything. I’m only staying in hotels for single nights so have to be out for 10am so no option to stay in and rest.

felt sick this morning but could have been just because breakfast was raw fish and rice and 7am is a little early to face that, and it’s getting a little painful to sleep on my front now. Anyone else finding their nipples suddenly stick out so far??

100% with the nipples! I dreamt they wouldn’t stop growing last night! I’m so sorry to hear you’re feeling so poorly on your holiday! Hope you feel better soon!

Thanks for those that replied on the folic acid. I bought some and started taking it today - potentially better late than never I guess!

Eurgh I feel for you being so unwell. We are also away and the breakfast options sound similar… I’ve been seeking Greek yoghurt with fruit and bran flakes / another fibrous cereal when I can!

I also find I am flitting between food aversion / obsessions like nobody’s business. A lack of appetite plus intermittent insatiable hunger lead me to make snap decisions on meals that I then feel like I want the same for days on end and nothing else. I described it to my husband as feeling like I’m recovering from food poisoning and am starving but feel like only certain foods will stay down, so when they’re tasty and sit well I just want that only. Defo had worse nausea today but haven’t been sick and it’s not prevented me doing anything. I bought some ginger tea and am going to start having that first thing.

I swear my boobs are filling out a bit more (already a DD+ cup so a bit daunted at what is to come) and everything about them is sore 24/7. It’s the hardest part for me - walking up and down stairs is grim. I already wear nonwired comfy bras with thicker straps so not sure what more I can do.

Hope you’re all doing well.

Cautiously joining this group, have been reading over the last week or so, so thought I’d pop up and say hello!

Currently 5 weeks 1 day, very little symptoms other than heavy/sore breasts, on off pain on my left side front and back - more of a niggle than a pain however does disturb my sleep. The above making me contemplate an early scan. My husband works away (2 weeks home, 2 weeks away). Unsure to book before he goes on his next trip (I will be 6 weeks 2 days) or TRY wait until he is next home (I will be 8 weeks 5 days). Any advice or personal experiences on early scans will be much appreciated- I know 6 weeks is very early and there would be a chance we don’t see much, more to just make sure it’s in the right place if anything

This is the glory of the internet- my nipples are like solid points at the moment. Thank you. I feel less alone šŸ˜‚

I have never been more than a B cup and my boobs are very heavy and sore too. Bras definitely feel way tighter so I'm relegated to the oldest sofest greyest one I have lol.

Is it worth investing in maternity bras this early? How much of a size change do you expect?

Elephantscantjump · 09/11/2025 13:37

Im honestly hoping for not much size change, I'm busty as it is and if they get much larger I think I'll look ridiculous. My boobs definitely feel heavier and a bit sore today. Similar to others nipples permanently sticking out. Caught sight of myself in an M&S mirror and it was quite a surprise šŸ˜‚

mamapippa · 09/11/2025 15:31

I've just had a positive test this weekend. This will be my first baby although I have two step sons who are 7 and 9. Me and my partner started trying in October and we've gone and done it first time round... To say I'm in shock is an understatement. I feel super bloated and sort of crampy but not crampy at the same time. Very odd! I'm so excited though. Congratulations everyone šŸ‘šŸ½ x

Threecheersfor26 · 09/11/2025 15:32

Yes on the nipples! I have mine pierced and thinking at what point they’ll have to come out!

Juicytoot287 · 09/11/2025 16:20

@Jaffas22 gosh, the wait is hard. I will say I had cramping from 4-5 weeks pregnant so that can be normal. If it persists on one side you can actually call your GO/midwife or early assessment unit as they can check your pregnancy is in the right place.

aside from that, early scans at 6 weeks can worry you more in my opinion IF there is not medical concerns. Only because it can be too early for a heart beat so can leave you feeling worse. I think I’ll be having my early one around 8 weeks too - more to see!

Disgruntledpelicanlady · 09/11/2025 16:35

Feel like im going mad trying to see line progression. Please tell me someone else can see it? Ive even asked chat gpt haha.
I think I must've ovulated/implanted late as I should be about 16dpo based on my tracking app but had implantation bleeding on Wednesday which I think explains why the lines are quite light

My biggest advice is make sure you are using the same brand to track progression as each have different sensitivity.

i do see progression tho!

Personally, I've had 2 losses. One which measured 6 weeks when I should have been 8, but had a heartbeat (lost it naturally weeks later). The other stopped growing and heartbeat stopped between 7-8 weeks. For this reason, I'd say go for the later scan, as both mine appeared to be fine at around 6 weeks, and I later lost them. Later on, you can be more confident they'll be OK (as obviously the later you get, the better chance of survival.

I was just going to follow and not say anything until I saw all of the MCR love! I actually didn’t get tickets as I know we were TTC and had promised myself I wouldn’t book anything next year in general šŸ˜‚šŸ¤˜šŸ»šŸ¤˜šŸ» I should be due around 6th July. I submitted an online form 2 weeks ago when I first found out but haven’t heard anything from the midwife yet.. should I ring to chase up?!

Jaffas22 · 09/11/2025 20:37

@Curiousrobin so sorry to hear of your losses, thank you for sharing your story and advice.

I probably would, if your trust uses badger notes I think there can sometimes be issues. When I've looked at my trust they like to get the booking in appt 7-8 week mark.

I'd wait until 8 weeks. If dates are even slightly off you might not see a heartbeat at 6+2. I had it happen with my 3rd baby and it was not a fun two weeks until my next scan. I've booked a private scan at 7+6

nekophoenix · 10/11/2025 01:32

My private scan is booked for 7+4 with fingers crossed we will get some info.

Had my first vom this morning unfortunately! I had a restful day yesterday and didn’t feel great, bought some ginger tea to have first thing and threw it up within minutes. Swiftly had a fulsome breakfast and that has done the trick. There I was thinking I might be someone who has nausea but no actual vomiting. Oops.

Greengardener1 · 10/11/2025 07:35

Hi everyone, hope I can jump on this thread - congratulations to everyone on your pregnancies šŸ’• according to my app I'm 4 weeks 3 days today, however this is based on my LMP and I'm pretty confident I know when I ovulated- which would work out as 15dpo today. I know I shouldn't but I've continued testing with 2 types of tests - clear blue and the pink tests (can't remember name of them but off amazon and in picture!). The clear blue one keeps getting darker each day, the pink however are still very visible and have progressed, but the progression seems a bit slow/would have expected it to be just as dark as the clearblue. I know I shouldn't keep testing but I've had 3 losses previously in space of a year, and no living children, this is first pregnancy in 12 months since last loss. The anxiety is making me feel a bit mental! I did a digital yesterday which came up as 1-2weeks, I got some mild spotting on thursday/Friday but nothing since and put this down to implantation bleeding, my expected period would have been Saturday. Any advice/experience would be really welcomed and TIA! šŸ’•

Is anyone finding they are tirelessly symptoms spotting still? I've done 3x tests (fri morning, sunday afternoon and this morning) all immediately positive but I can't stop myself looking for symptoms šŸ˜‚.

My boobs are a bit sore but should they be more sore, I feel a bit nauseous but is it just in my head. I always sleep poorly and have weird dreams but are they more vivid! I'm feeling quite emotional and on the edge of tears but I sob at cute adverts and tiktoks normally šŸ˜‚

Think I'm going to book a private scan around 8 weeks to try and put my mind at ease a little. Did refer to maternity services this morning though.

I feel like all my life is right now is symptom spotting šŸ˜‚ like you, my boobs are sore and if they feel less sore at any point I start to think why aren't they as painful...then few hours later painful šŸ˜‚

Yes exactly this šŸ˜‚šŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø are they a bit less painful, why is that, its exhausting!

I've got no words of wisdom about processing lines on tests im afraid but sending all the best wishes/ sticky baby dust as people say.
