Hey, anyone else due July 2026? I got my first faint positive at 10dpo on Thursday 23rd October, I’m now 14dpo/4 weeks pregnant. Feeling nervous as still very early my period was due tomorrow. I’ve booked an early scan for in a few weeks so hopefully everything is all good, now just an anxious wait

@Greengardener1there’s really good progression on the clear blue and I can definitely see some on the Easy@Home ones but I found that they take much longer to catch up than other tests.

It’s so hard to step away from the tests, I honestly get it, but it really does help when you do. I’ve had ā€˜perfect progression’ that has ended in two losses so it doesn’t tell you much unfortunately.

Greengardener1 · 10/11/2025 10:05

@Elephantscantjumpit's so hard not to symptom spot isn't it, trying not to let it rule my head!

@iwishyoutoknow so sorry about your losses, I had the same experience - my lines previously progressed, then ended in MC. I really just need to stop the testing and just let what will be will be, but its so hard, especially at this time of year when christmas is around the corner! Thank you for your reply šŸ’•

Elephantscantjump · 10/11/2025 07:42

Is anyone finding they are tirelessly symptoms spotting still? I've done 3x tests (fri morning, sunday afternoon and this morning) all immediately positive but I can't stop myself looking for symptoms šŸ˜‚.

My boobs are a bit sore but should they be more sore, I feel a bit nauseous but is it just in my head. I always sleep poorly and have weird dreams but are they more vivid! I'm feeling quite emotional and on the edge of tears but I sob at cute adverts and tiktoks normally šŸ˜‚

Think I'm going to book a private scan around 8 weeks to try and put my mind at ease a little. Did refer to maternity services this morning though.

Edited

I’m not testing but I’m driving myself mad symptom spotting. I won’t be able to relax until the vomit starts.

Threecheersfor26 · 10/11/2025 12:22

Is anyone planning to pay for an early scan?

I don’t know to schedule it for 6, 8 or 10 weeks.

Lgn90 · 10/11/2025 12:26

@Threecheersfor26 Yes I've got one booked in at 7 weeks. I'd rather have waited til 8 weeks but it's my mum's birthday and hoping to put the scan in her birthday card!

Disgruntledpelicanlady · 10/11/2025 12:33

We have an early scan booked for 6 weeks. Would rather have waited till 7 or 8 but the day after the scan we have a family Christmas photoshoot and we want to give our daughter a big sister jumper for it so we can break the news to family with our family christmas cards this year. Feel like we need some kind of confirmation before we do that as I dont want to tell our little one needlessly.
Need to step away from the tests but I am seeing some progression which is reassuring

Lovelesslily · 10/11/2025 12:39

I think I'm planning to book one for 8 weeks so we can hopefully surprise family over Christmas with it 🄰

On subject of line progression do you think mine looks ok for 24 hours difference? It's darker by a tiny amount I think considering how early I tested ... driving myself crazy here already!

Elephantscantjump · 10/11/2025 12:43

Yes, I've been looking at booking for around 8 weeks. I'm not sure if my 12 week nhs scan will come through before Christmas as will be 12 weeks on boxing day.

StayingHopefulx · 10/11/2025 14:21

hello everyone! Joining this thread as I got my BFP yesterday. Due 19th July according to my tracker! Early scan booked for the 5th December :)

I can see progression for sure 😊 from what I've read hcg rapidly increases every 48 hours

Tinytotdriver · 10/11/2025 16:00

Received my BFP today, due date being 20th July 2026!

TW

Have had two missed miscarriages, with my last one needing an MVA this June. It took a while for my cycle to return to normal, so this was our first cycle trying (using OPKs). I’m so happy it happened quickly but definitely feeling nervous and tentative about this pregnancy…

Elephantscantjump · 10/11/2025 16:57

Have had my nhs booking appt come through, 8th December- I'll be 9w3d.

Have booked a private early scan 1st December - I'll be 8w3d so hopefully far enough along that we'll get to hear a heartbeat.

These early days are going to slow! Just picked up my progesterone šŸ¤ž

EL27 · 10/11/2025 19:11

I swear once you get pregnant, life slows down and then when you have the baby it speeds up. ( I have a nearly 2 year old now and I don't know where the time went?!)

Is anyone on any tablets for nausea/ have been on them before? Did they help?

It's just starting with me and last time it was so bad I struggled to work and had to tell my boss earlier than I wanted to.

My date should be 18th July so not long before you! Also had 3 MCs so I know the tentative feeling but wishing you all the luck for this pregnancy 🌟

With my DS I had 3 private scans before our NHS dating scan. 5 weeks, 7 and 9.

I had previously lost a twin pregnancy, so I was super anxious.

Just being completely honest, I personally wouldn’t have a five or six weeks scan again because they can give you more anxiety because you really can’t see much. If you pay for a private scan at six weeks and they can’t yet see the heartbeat you are understandably going to be worried.

by eight weeks, if you see a heartbeat on the scan, your miscarriage rate drops dramatically. This is what I will be doing. Feel like you will see more and it won’t feel as long as a weight to your dating scan x

Yes agree with that!

I had HG with my son and had to tell my boss at 5 weeks pregnant… really hoping I don’t end up as unwell this time!

Tablets were a lifesaver for me, I can’t remember the name of them but within a few days I was feeling so much better. As soon as I start getting nauseous again, I’m gonna be at the GP asking for them again!

DaLouO · 10/11/2025 19:59

I am tentatively joining this thread!šŸ’–

I am not completely sure how far along I am, my first test was very faint tho, I found out on 5th November! So I think I would have only been around 3 weeks, maybe a few days more.

I had a missed miscarriage in a previous relationship and it’s made me very anxious as that was my last pregnancy, despite also having two healthy children before that!

I’ve already kind of resigned myself to the fact that this one may not stick which is really sad.

but I am just thinking to myself ā€œanother day and still pregnantā€ which is a good way to look at it I suppose!

my partner is really excited which makes me even more sad in case it doesn’t work out!! it kind of takes the shine off it with all the worry xxx

I'm also symptom spotting, but I have absolutely zero symptoms right now 😭

With my first I had really sore boobs, an icky feeling, and a headache at this point. This time round, not a thing šŸ˜“

I 100% agree with this! I get an early viability scan because I am type one diabetic and I am requesting 7 or 8 weeks. Sometimes at 6 weeks there isn’t a heartbeat yet as it’s still really early. I just don’t think I could face a week or two of waiting and being in limbo. I had a previous MMC and the waiting between scans was agony x

EL27 · 11/11/2025 07:48

Morning all, I have joined a FB group for babies due July 2026 (UK). It's private group and you can post anonymous if you prefer.

No pressure to join, just another option if it's easier for you! I'll still be reading and posting on this thread.

88claire · 11/11/2025 08:03

5 weeks 1 day today. I got an email from the hospital saying due to my history they're booking me in for a scan on Thursday. They said at this point they want to see a sac in the right place and they don't expect a heartbeat yet and I'll likely have another a week later.

Phew.

I think the first twinges of nausea have hit today too!

Hi šŸ‘‹ I have LADA. How are you coping so far? I've had to increase my bolus a huge amount to get my morning sugars down but otherwise ok. I'm having a private ultrasound before I go to the diabetic pregnancy clinic. I had a mmc previously and having to wait surrounded by all the other pregnant women was awful

Hiya! I’m on the ypsomed pump, so it’s not going too bad, managed to get 64% time in range last week. It’s really strange because you’re supposed to need less insulin in first trimester, but currently I’m needing more šŸ˜‚ I’m constantly using the boost feature on my pump to give me more and Iv changed my carb ratios to give more at mealtimes too. Maybe it will suddenly drop off in a week or so, as I’m only 4+5 at the moment. I had my little boy in July 24 but I can’t remember how my insulin was then. Just praying everything goes well.

How are you getting on?

DaLouO · 11/11/2025 13:31

Can anyone help?

I know I’m being very overly anxious because of a previous mmc.

I couldn’t help myself but do another test today. Both tests were done around 1pm and are the same sensitivity done with the same sample.

do these look okay? It’s just really worrying me I found out I was pregnant on the 5th November so I would have expected the lines to be really quite dark by now (granted I don’t actually know when I conceived as my periods are very irregular and I wasn’t tracking ovulation)

I had dark lines and dye stealers in all my previous pregnancies xxx
