Hey, anyone else due July 2026? I got my first faint positive at 10dpo on Thursday 23rd October, I’m now 14dpo/4 weeks pregnant. Feeling nervous as still very early my period was due tomorrow. I’ve booked an early scan for in a few weeks so hopefully everything is all good, now just an anxious wait

Hi, I'm also tentatively and anxiously joining. I'm in Australia but I hope you all don't mind the company from down under!

My app says I'm 4w4d with baby number 2 and I'm worried this one won't stick - I've had 0 symptoms (baby number 1 I had sore boobs and a headache right from the beginning) and some pinkish brownish discharge, but my first HCG blood test was in range so all I can do is hurry up and wait for my 8 week scan šŸ™ƒ

Tempoflights · 06/11/2025 06:53

Morning, wanted to join to be able to say to someone out loud that we have a baby due 12th July, if everything goes to plan. Trying to hold lightly after 5 miscarriages. Had a spiral yesterday but feel better today with a very strong line. First scan on Monday, I'm not expecting to see anything!

Tinypeanut1224 · 06/11/2025 09:32

Hey Ladies, I hope you don't mind me joining! I'm currently 6 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child. Pretty nervous as I've had 6 losses including a ruptured ectopic earlier this year but trying to be cautiously optimistic. I've got my first NHS scan tomorrow due to my history, really hoping to see a little blob with a heartbeat. Hope you're all doing ok!

SummerSolstice25 · 06/11/2025 11:42

I’m 6+2. I haven’t tested since 4+3 when I had a positive clear blue digital and a confirmation with a blood test. I have zero symptoms, my scan isn’t until next week. I wish I had a little sign or a symptom just to know all is ok in there.

PlummyDog · 06/11/2025 12:00

I’m quite interested in having a scan- I didn’t consider an early one with my daughter because I hadn’t had losses before but I also worry I will fixate on them.

I'm having a scan because of recurrent miscarriage, so the NHS are monitoring me. I'm not sure I'd be paying for any early scans if I was worried as I think it may be a worse habit for my mental health than line progression. I think if you are worried about any pain or bleeding then self refer to your early pregnancy clinic and they should give you a scan.

Thank you for your response. We only tested once because I know what my mental health is like!

nekophoenix · 06/11/2025 21:30

I am so sorry to hear about the losses on this thread.

We tested twice on separate days at different times and I am otherwise holding out for an early scan in 2 weeks. I don’t think I would be having an early scan if I was in the UK but my husband and I are abroad seeing family until the new year and I couldn’t wait that long! Plus, family will start to notice my not drinking etc so I think we will end up telling people earlier than I would have liked…

Woke up this morning with mild achey cramps down there. Similar to what I usually get in my period but not as severe. Sore boobs still making sleeping positions tricky! Also had my first day yesterday of looking at some foods and thinking ā€œyuck, absolutely notā€.

Hi everyone. 2am and being sick!!!
I have a really fear of sickness so the knowledge I feel sick keeps me up because of the worry of being sick but until the last day or so no actually sickness. However it’s hit me like a brick for the past 8 hours. Feel horrific! I didn’t have this with my first (amazing) so it’s all new to me.
my toddler woke up at midnight which then stirred me to feel this sickness.

What remedies work for you all? I hate ginger so would ideally avoid that.

I was sick from beginning to end- I had just had to embrace it because there was no remedy. People suggest eating before your feet touch the ground,

SummerSolstice25 · 07/11/2025 07:20

@Juicytoot287 you can get anti nausea prescribed by your doctor.

I woke up in the middle of the night with an intense stitch like pain. Did anyone have similar around 6 weeks?

Stitchwizz · 07/11/2025 08:00

Just tested positive last night after wondering if the ligament pain, mahoosive boobs and stuffy nose might not be peri menopause after all.
We had given up on any more after our 7 yr old, after 1 loss and then nothing for years and years, so this has come as a big surprise, especially at almost 43!

Elephantscantjump · 07/11/2025 08:05

Morning ladies, after 20 months with nothing my period was 2 days late. Have tested this morning have got my very first positive!

Puts me at 4w6d/5w0d with a due date of 11th ish July! Woke my partner at 06.10 sobbing telling him we need to sell our MCR tickets šŸ˜‚

@Stitchwizz @Elephantscantjump congrats both! ā™„ļø Bittersweet about the MCR tickets šŸ˜†

@Juicytoot287 I had sickness with my last pregnancy (none with this so far). I found I only got sick when I was hungry or ate too much. So I tried to avoid it by snacking on small meals often rather than large meals. Even if it meant eating a bit of plain toast at midnight when I didn't feel like it.

Peppermint tea, strong mints or biscuits helped me get through work. It's so hard though, ask your GP for anti sickness if it's still bad I don't know why I didn't ask last pregnancy!

herewegoagainbabyno2 · 07/11/2025 08:45

Hey everyone!

Just got my bfp on a clear blue 6 days early digital!

Feeling a complete mixture of excitement and nervous

Didn’t track ovulation, was due AF Saturday BUT believe I ovulated a few days later as that’s when I got my ovary pain so imagine I’m just over 3 weeks

We had a twin loss a few years ago at the end of my first trimester before having my DS so I am a bit nervous to get too excited as I know what it’s like to have that excitement taken away from you

Thought I’d follow for support as we’ve decided not to tell anyone right now

Oh shit, I hadn't even thought of that and I have tickets as well! 😭 bloody typical! I missed a farewell gig for another band for the same reason back in 2018

We've been waiting for a positive for so so long! But I really really wanted to see MCR šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø

Threecheersfor26 · 07/11/2025 13:58

I’ve not told anyone, other than my husband, but I’ve just tested positive and am measuring at 4weeks.

i only just came off contraception this month with the view of taking it easy… had sex once during ovulation and somehow caught right away!

i also have MCR tickets, my due date looks to be the 15th July so debating if I can still make at least one night šŸ™ˆ

PlummyDog · 07/11/2025 15:23

How strange! I also have MCR tickets! I guess they say if you want to get pregnant book something you’re really wanting to do!

Threecheersfor26 · 07/11/2025 15:39

Honestly… I had tickets for both nights!

although I have several my chemical romance tattoos šŸ™ˆ.

people will be wondering why is there a massive increase in baby’s called Gerard.

And Helena for girls!

Stitchwizz · 07/11/2025 16:59

Can't believe I've landed in a pregnancy group full of emos 🤣
Think my husband might leave me if I went for either of those names though

Threecheersfor26 · 07/11/2025 17:27

Visions of everyone clubbing together for a VIP suite and splitting the cost of a midwife and a bed šŸ˜‚

when all the goths and emos end up pregnant at once.

most likely all in our matching mary Wyatt floaty dresses as no alt maternity clothes!!

theskyisopalite · 07/11/2025 18:22

5+4 today so delighted to join! Also due 6th July.

I know it's so area dependent but what do you reckon the chances are of a 12 week pre-Christmas NHS scan? I didn't know you had to have 2 weeks between scans and I was going to go private just for some holiday reassurance...

I've been wondering the same! If love to have the scan pre Christmas so I could surprise family with it 😊

I just checked with my son I had my scan 12+3 (this was Jan 2024) so if it's the same this time it will work out after Christmas for me šŸ˜ž. I'm now debating whether to have a private one...
