Hey, anyone else due July 2026? I got my first faint positive at 10dpo on Thursday 23rd October, I’m now 14dpo/4 weeks pregnant. Feeling nervous as still very early my period was due tomorrow. I’ve booked an early scan for in a few weeks so hopefully everything is all good, now just an anxious wait

I'm 7 weeks today and the sickness has hit me over the last few days. Gone from eating everything in sight to eating child portions and only wanting vegetables 😂 everything else makes me feel sick, I feel sick 24/7

I'm so tired 😂 never been so grateful to feel so naff! Got some anti sickness bands coming in the post today

How does anyone survive this period? My mother in law keeps patting me on the shoulder and saying there there 😂

I’m 6+4 and nauseous if I don’t eat constantly throughout the day, although I have crazy food aversions and will only eat cornflakes and toast and those are child portions too! Felt ok last week, but now even thinking about the word chicken makes me 🤢

I got my 12 week scan appointment through after my booking appointment, I think they like to confirm dates in person with you to make sure its as accurate as possible. Fingers crossed for a pre-xmas date for you!

Honestly last time I just got through by nibbling little and often, surround yourself with the snacks you want and dont worry too much about nutrition or you won't end up eating!
I had 2 jam sandwiches at 3am and then just eaten a bag of chilli crisps so not exactly nutritious but its all I could face 🤣

Has anyone else had bit of pain / twinges in one side lower abdomen?

Sometimes when I move/twist/ get up quickly I have a twinge sharp pain in lower right side. Only over past few days, It only lasts few seconds no cramping. I'm nearly 10 weeks, is this normal or should I be worried?

@EL27 it sounds like round ligament pain- very normal as the womb begins to stretch. I definitely had it regularly in my first pregnancy.

I am going to try more bland foods and hope that helps, I love food normally so I'm gutted 😂 I'm going in for blood tests before the booking appointment as I'll be 11+1 for that appointment, and my scans have been requested already so likely to get the first scan the following week from the booking appointment

@EL27 I am 10 weeks too and get these (worse this time round as I imagine with twins I’m stretching more) but I had them with my first too :)

I’ve also had sharp pain, mostly after a walk at the weekend. It went away and I had no other symptoms and I read that it can be round ligament pain.

my symptoms have been coming and going too! 7 weeks and a couple of weeks ago they arrived, last week was a bit quiet on the symptom front, this week it’s hit hard again 😂 nausea isn’t horrendous, I just feel constantly off most foods. I really don’t want veg but I’m trying to include it where I can! Otherwise it’s crackers and cheese, crisps, toast etc 😂 I am normally a foodie so it’s weird to be feeling like this! And I’m SO tired ALL the time 😭

Tentatively joining if you’ll have me. I’m 11 weeks 2 days, which technically puts my due date at the end of June but assuming as it’s my (our!) first we might spill over into July.

My husband and I got married at the tail end of October, my period was due around the wedding but never arrived…we tested the day after the wedding and realised we had a little stowaway!

So far I’ve been absolutely knackered and generally nauseous, though happy to report I’ve only had to be sick (in a hedge..) once. Not my finest moment!!

We have our 12 week scan next Monday and cannot wait to see our baby on the screen. I think it will make it all very real.

@SoftLaunch @Juicytoot287 Thanks I just looked up round ligament pain and it does sound like what I'm experiencing now and again.

Can't remember having this in my last pregnancy. I had a C-section last pregnancy (nearly 2 years ago) so don't know if there can be pains around the scar in this pregnancy 🤔

I am in week 9 and I am feeling absolutely horrendous today. I thought I’d dodged the sickness but no.. I’ve just vomited my entire breakfast up in the toilet (sorry tmi). I am really suffering today. Will need to cancel my work meetings this afternoon with some excuse. I cannot wait for first trimester to be done.. sending everyone lots of love and strength to get through first trimester. Women are incredible.. if men could get pregnant I’m pretty sure maternity leave would begin after the first positive on a pregnancy test.

Hope your day has gotten a bit better @blossomhoney2! Week 8-9 was definitely the sickiest for me too. Men absolutely have no idea!

Just had a private scan this evening, 8weeks 4days and heart beating away. I am so relieved, I don’t know why I am so nervous / anxious this time, I wasn’t this bad with my first.
Have also been nauseous and sick a few times the last week or so which is new to me so trying to just keep nibbling all day to keep it at bay.

Nipt happening tomorrow! Hopefully I’ll get the results before Christmas, anyone else know roughly how long their results took? It’s just a little local place but I’m guessing they all send to the same lab.

i see a lot of people getting NIPT, can I ask about this? I am not sure I even can as it says unreliable with twins..

hate to say it, week 9 symptoms dying down was a fluke, 10 weeks has been HELL. I am feeling faint etc all the time :’(

I'd probably ask your midwife as mot sire how different it is with twins. At my booking appt they said they could do the screening at my 12 week scan.

At my booking appt my midwife said they can do it at 12 week scan and results can take up to 2 weeks in my area.

Hi everyone, 8 weeks 4 days here. Just have no motivation to do anything and still feeling unwell 24/7 although a lot better day time now, but evenings are still 10/10 for nausea. Xonvea is saving me a bit and I’m glad I got anti sickness tablets.

had a scan at six weeks and will probably book in again for a weeks time when I’ll be 9 1/2 weeks just to check everything is okay before Christmas

Glad to have found this thread! 7+3 here and just counting down the days until my booking in appointment on the 21st, when I’m hoping they’ll get me another reassurance scan. I’ve had two losses in the last year (+DS 5yo) and then yesterday the nausea suddenly stopped, and hasn’t returned, just like the mmc a year ago, so trying not to freak out. A scan last week showed a healthy little bean with a strong heartbeat in the right place (had ectopic in August) so I’m holding on to that. Sending everyone here strong sticky vibes and virtual folic acid, remember to take your vitamins ladies!

Just got a call to say they’re cancelling my nipt later anyway as they have nobody qualified to do bloods. 😔 will have to book at one of the bigger places.

Oh what a pain for you! Can't be helped but doesn't make it any better does it 😂 .
