Hey, anyone else due July 2026? I got my first faint positive at 10dpo on Thursday 23rd October, I’m now 14dpo/4 weeks pregnant. Feeling nervous as still very early my period was due tomorrow. I’ve booked an early scan for in a few weeks so hopefully everything is all good, now just an anxious wait

Hey all, oh my gosh the nausea. I feel so sick all day. Eating little and often but ugh, I feel rotten. I’m 7+4 today. Got a my booking appointment for the 18th when I’ll be 10 weeks.

We’re trying to get ready and create more storage in our house so we bough a chest of drawers to have on either side of our bed and they STINK of second-hand smoke to me. My husband assures me there’s no smell but I’m gagging every night in bed

Juicytoot287 · 01/12/2025 12:11

@Clarysjb it may still be quick, my 12 week scan appt came through 3 days after the booking so may be ok. It is frustrating though

Oh that sounds ok then, hopefully mine is the same! It’s my first and it’s all exciting/nerve wracking and I know it’s just another day at work for them šŸ˜‚

Anyone ever moved house when pregnant? I’m going to be moving to a totally different area and unsure if I should wait until I’ve moved to contact the midwives there or if I should do it now? I’ll be moving in January.

I have another appointment with the epu again since my bleed at the weekend it progressed this morning and I had a big bleed and lost some clots too! Will let everyone know how it goes, not feeling very hopeful but I am going in expecting the worst just as I find that’s easier than having hope for it all to come crashing xx

@Clarysjb maybr contact the midwife team and express concerns for when the scan may be?

souiii · 01/12/2025 12:39

Clarysjb · 01/12/2025 11:00

Just had my booking appointment through, it’s not until I am 11+2 and I can’t get referred for my 12 week scan until then so does that mean it’ll be later than 12 weeks for that? I know they can do it up until 14 weeks I suppose.

Mines the same, I'll be 11+1, I thought I would have had an appointment sooner but guess not

I’ve been a bit quiet on this thread but just wanted to pop on. I’m sorry to anyone that has experienced a loss. Pregnancy loss is so cruel.

I am 7 weeks 2 days pregnant today. Nausea is debilitating. 24/7. I’m currently taking omeprazole and xonvea. Struggling to look after my toddler and I’ve been signed off sick from work

I know that I should but I hate making a nuisance of myself, they’ll probably just tell me it can be done anytime up to 14 weeks!

Sorry to hear you’re feeling so unwell, is the medication helping at all?

Today is the first day that I do feel better! Thank you.

I’m not a professional and can’t advise to take medication, but I would say if anyone is struggling with all day nausea the hidden culprit could be stomach acid. I noticed after taking Gaviscon that I did feel better.

Juicytoot287 · 01/12/2025 18:48

@babyno2duejuly2026 glsd it’s eased a bit today to give you some rest bite.

I suffered badly with the nausea (probably the extra twin hormones ffs haha) - it was all day and night and really awful around 7-8 weeks for me. I am between 9 and 10 now. It’s not as bad I can say! I do have waves still and the sickness is more common, the nausea is not though! I can finally eat an actual meal haha. I do have some heart burn now funny enough but it’s manageable at the moment! It does get better xx

Thank you!

everything went well as in, I had another scan, baby is still there and happy with a heartbeat, they’re not sure what is causing my bleeding the doctor took swabs and did an examination and basically told me I need to rest as much as possible, no unnecessary or strenuous exercise, no heavy lifting and no sex for 2 weeks!

I have my midwife appointment on Thursday where I am under strict instructions that I need to put pressure on about getting blood tests done for my thyroid to have my meds adjusted as it could be this counting towards the bleeding xxx

souiii · 01/12/2025 22:33

Evening ladies, hope everyone is feeling as good as can be!

I've been getting cramps on and off and feel a bit stingy, like I've pulled something. I've also had a very small amount of light brown discharge. Should I worry? I'm 6 weeks today

blossomhoney2 · 02/12/2025 09:44

@souiiisorry to hear this, I believe this can be quite normal, so try not to worry too much. Maybe best to give your midwife/gp a call for reassurance?

Has anyone got a nipt test scheduled soon? I’ve got one coming up on 11th December which I’m paying for privately. With the test I’m planning to find out the gender.. anyone waiting and keeping it a surprise? I think it would stress me out not knowing and having to decide on names for both a boy and girl so I’d prefer to know in advance. I like to plan ahead 😊

Andrasa · 02/12/2025 09:58

I think I’m going to book a nipt for about the same time, I’d like to know as much as possible (especially possible genetic issues as we can make a quicker decision there too). Feel strange to know gender by Christmas, but I have no name ideas so the more time the better!

got my nhs scan through too for the 18th which is bang on twelve weeks for me so hopefully means our local maternity services aren’t too busy currently. I’ve got my eye on the single pool at the local hospital. 🤣

blossomhoney2 · 02/12/2025 10:13

@Andrasaexciting! Is that your first scan? In my head I also wanted to give birth in the pool last time, but in reality the water was too cold so I got straight back out of it and back onto the bed 🤣 maybe I can try again this time but with stricter instructions to the midwives šŸ˜…

I need to hold myself back from doing some kind of cheesy pregnancy / gender reveal photo in front of the Christmas tree to tell friends and family ..

Betty208 · 02/12/2025 10:21

For those that have already had their booking, how long after did your 12 week scan come through? I’m 12 weeks the week between Christmas and new year so not sure if I’m expecting to get it this side of the new year or if it’ll be delayed a little due to Christmas x

LargeJugs · 02/12/2025 10:49

I’m in :) 8 weeks currently

No I had a private one at eight weeks because I’d had some bleeding and zero pregnancy symptoms, couldn’t see a lot though and it was an in and out in 5 mins thing just to see there was a heartbeat. Be interesting to see a little more detail at 12, especially right before Christmas.

ah interesting to hear that! I just love being in the water in general, though I’m fairly chill about what actually happens. It’s not a maternity ward with great reviews so I’m just going to go with whatever works on the day and make sure partner is prepped to fight my case.

@Betty208 mine was about a week and a half after? Probably varies massively by trust though.

LittleWrenUK · 02/12/2025 11:52

Just had my first midwife appt and she was so lovely. She tried to schedule my 12 week scan for between christmas and the new year but they weren't taking bookings so postponed to January instead.

Curiousrobin · 02/12/2025 18:04

Is anyone who is around 8 weeks still waiting to hear regarding their booking appointment? I feel like I've usually been contacted by now in my previous pregnancies.

Me! I’m 8 weeks 1 day today and I’m still waiting. Called to chase today and was told ā€œwe’ll be in contact when you are 8-10 weeksā€ when I said I already was the lady seemed shocked that I was still waiting

MaybePossiblyMaybe · 02/12/2025 21:38

Yesterday: 8 week scan, everything looking OK, heartbeat right where it should be

This morning: More brown discharge 😭

Digby86 · 02/12/2025 22:34

I’m a bit late to the party but can I join? Was on the TTC board previously but went a bit quiet after getting our BFP (hsd a loss at 12 weeks in the summer so I’ve been tentative about getting too excited this time).

just had an early scan and all is looking perfect, so starting to believe this pregnancy is actually real 😳

currently 9+2 with due date of 5 July. This will be our second - we already have an incredible little 3 year old who is going to b the most amazing big bro ā¤ļø
