Hey, anyone else due July 2026? I got my first faint positive at 10dpo on Thursday 23rd October, I’m now 14dpo/4 weeks pregnant. Feeling nervous as still very early my period was due tomorrow. I’ve booked an early scan for in a few weeks so hopefully everything is all good, now just an anxious wait

I stand corrected. He apparently told his Dad he thinks I’m coming down with the cold/ flu the rest of the house have, despite knowing that I’m late and have had the same spotting I had with our second. Nevermind šŸ˜†

@Lgn90 I think it's starting, I've been off food today!

I had a blighted ovum miscarriage last year so I'm petrified of history repeating itself, I'm feeling the symptoms but the type of miscarriage I had also means hcg rises and you get all the symptoms so my head is in over drive! Can't wait but also dreading my scan 😣

Betty208 · 27/11/2025 17:08

Hi ladies, been quietly watching the thread and thought I’d jump in now to say… hey!
Somewhere between 6-7 weeks for me so early days but saw a lovely heartbeat on Monday which was amazing!
anybody else already experiencing ligament pain? My pubic bone just throbs and aches by the end of the day… baby no2 for me šŸ’•

It's crazy how things vary. I felt like death with my missed miscarriage and relatively normal this time but had a heartbeat on my scan today. My blighted ovum had more symptoms - just shows you can't tell!

Keeping everything crossed for you. I cried today when the sonographer said 'congratulations!'

souiii · 27/11/2025 18:04

How early are you having scans? My first appointment has come through and I'll be 11 weeks

Andrasa · 27/11/2025 19:23

just a shoutout to my husband 🄰 I’ve not been feeling sick or anything but just uninterested in food, hungry but just cba. Mentioned I fancied fajitas and he went out and got all the stuff after work and made them for me, and is now doing the dishes so I can lie on the sofa and eat celebrations.

TW:

have a bad bad feeling I am miscarrying.

im around 7 weeks. Had spotting throughout went to EPU Tuesday and a heart beat was confirmed and everything in right place.

today around noon I went to the loo in Starbucks in the next city and I had a large bleed, to the point I bled through my underwear. Went to the hospital who said they weren’t able to give me an ultrasound however did a cervical exam and it looked closed. As I was in a different health board they were unable to book me in to EPU for a scan the next day. they advised me to contact my GP for a referal tomorrow. This was around 5pm.

I was just on the sofa and coughed. Just had a large bleed, I thought I peed myself. I went to the loo and a large clot (1.5x7 inches) came out. Just rang nhs 111 an waiting on a call back but don’t have a good feeling :(

Oh no, this sounds horrible and frightening. I'm sorry. Hopefully 111 suggests you can get seen by someone urgently

Threecheersfor26 · 28/11/2025 01:53

Unfortunately it’s been pretty much confirmed as a miscarriage for me.

had a cervical exam and my cervix was open. The dr had to remove tissue but will have final ultrasound tomorrow to confirm.

wishing everyone the best of luck with their journeys.

i’ll scream extra loud for those who can’t make MCR

So sorry you had to go through thisšŸ’œ thinking of you and all of the other women on here that have miscarried. It’s so tough. Take care of yourself šŸ’

bellaflower · 28/11/2025 06:59

waitingforourmiracle · 28/11/2025 09:41

Really sorry to hear this @Threecheersfor26 sending hugs, it's so unfair šŸ’

SummerSolstice25 · 28/11/2025 09:41

@Threecheersfor26 so sorry go hear this, my thoughts are with you and everyone else here who have experienced loss x

TC2023 · 28/11/2025 10:06

@Threecheersfor26 so sorry to hear this, hope you are doing ok.

Elephantscantjump · 28/11/2025 10:11

So sorry to hear of others having a rough time, hope everyone is managing to look afterthemselves.

I hope this doesn'become across insensitive:

Went back for a rescan at EPU this morning, baby has a good heartbeat and grown from last week. Consultant didn't seem concerned.

Measuring about 6w5d so about a week behind where I thought I might be but I have quite long cycles and never tracked ovulation so it makes sense.

Movinginthesunlight · 28/11/2025 10:51

Very sorry to everyone going through rough times. So sorry @Threecheersfor26.

Movinginthesunlight · 28/11/2025 10:51

I had my first appointment with the midwife this week. How long did the scan date letter take to come through the post for everyone? In our area (Scotland) this comes through the post, but I cannot remember how long the midwife said it would take to come through with all the questions.

Threecheersfor26 · 28/11/2025 13:08

What a fucking whirlwind - I’ve just come out of my scan.

turns out I was pregnant on twins, miscarried one and still carrying the other with a heartbeat and growing.

my head feels so scrambled and mixed.

I don’t know to laugh or cry

Juicytoot287 · 28/11/2025 13:23

@Threecheersfor26 oh my goodness! What an absolute rollercoaster of emotions. I think feeling both relief and grief in this are so confusing, conflicting but absolutely possible and even expected! take time to process whatever and ask to be referred to the mental heath perinatal team if you need this during your pregnancy. I hope all else goes smoothly for you!!!

side note - 9 weeks here. I have tickets to a concert tonight (Five) and I’m a bit worried - we are seated and I will avoid crowds as best I can - I’ve read it’s safe to go but there’s no concrete advice. Surely this is fine? It’s only for a few hours

Oh my gosh, what a nightmare of emotion! Hope you’re able to just take some time off everything and just get some emotional space.

What specifically is worrying you? Germs etc from the crowd?
You will be absolutely fine, no reason not to go unless you were tired, unwell etc. Pregnancy is a huge deal but it's also great and important for us to carry on most parts of normal life as much as we can and want to so please don't worry!

Seated tickets sound ideal for a pregnant gig for a few reasons but I went to standing gigs last time round and was also fine.
Have fun šŸ˜

BunnyWilliams · 28/11/2025 15:52

@Threecheersfor26 Oh my goodness, I'm not surprised your head is a mess. I'm really sorry for your loss. Sending you quiet happy vibes that you've got a healthy baby too.

blossomhoney2 · 28/11/2025 17:57

Wow that’s definitely a whirlwind. I’m so sorry for your loss but also super happy you’re still pregnant! @Threecheersfor26

bellaflower · 28/11/2025 18:06

@Threecheersfor26oh wow!!!! What a huge mix of emotions. Take time to process for sure.
