Hey, anyone else due July 2026? I got my first faint positive at 10dpo on Thursday 23rd October, I’m now 14dpo/4 weeks pregnant. Feeling nervous as still very early my period was due tomorrow. I’ve booked an early scan for in a few weeks so hopefully everything is all good, now just an anxious wait

Unfortunate news for us today. Went for our 6 week private scan for some reassurance (no worrying symptoms just wanted to see how everything was before we told our toddler) and was immediately sent to hospital with an ectopic. Waiting game to see if we go for surgical or medical management but will obviously be dipping out of this thread.
I hope everyone else has a smooth pregnancy and enjoys every minute 😊 good luck for those lovely summer babies šŸŒž

I am so sorry to hear this @Disgruntledpelicanladyi hope you’re doing ok considering. x

So so similar, I also ovulate around cd18!
Ive created an august group on the pregnancy board feel free to join that too, I am going to dip in and out of both! Its still quiet over there but I think we're still early on in the month!

How are you both feeling? Do you have any symptoms? Im so nervous really hoping for a sticky bean!

Also for @bellaflower

I’m feeling ok thank you, zero symptoms at the moment. If it wasn’t for the positive test or missed period, I wouldn’t think I was pregnant.
with my first baby, I had bleeding/spotting everyday until about week 13, so I was expecting that again. But nothing.

we’ve got a private scan booked for 10th Dec where I’ll be 7 weeks. I’m trying to not worry about it, but you just don’t know.

How are you feeling? @Sunnycrispwinterrobin

For anyone who isn't enjoying the large pills, I have been using 'naitre' they're little sachets rather than pills - I have a swallowing issue so prefer them. They are a little more pricy but seen good reviews, I also take omega 3 supplement alongside them.

TMI but is anyone else getting awful constipation or finding it hard to distinguish between a constipation cramp and gynae ctamp? I feel they are all so connected it's hard to tell! I'm on progesterone suppositories as well as big dose of ferrous fumarate (iron) and it's a lot!

Ooo thanks for the tip @Greengardener1

Since baby one I’ve had to keep up my fibre as suffered so bad with piles post birth. (Sorry if tmi, but often feel it’s not spoken about enough). All bran each morning I find the best or a smoothie with added fibre powder added in.

6 weeks pregnant today and the morning sickness has definitely kicked in! Is it too soon to go and get some anti sickness tablets from doctor? I had HG with my son by 7 weeks I’m worried about it turning into that again.

Oh I remember the iron supplement constipation, that was awful 😫
I'm very keen to avoid it again if I can so I'm going to make an effort to really up my iron in my diet and see if I can keep my levels high enough. I've no idea if thats even likely to be possible though!

I take prunes daily since last pregnancy to try to avoid constipation generally, also because of post birth issues last time. Not a nice topic to discuss but straining is so bad for your pelvic floor etc!

So after being seen at epu on Thursday and seeing a flickering on scan I've woken up today and having some bleeding after bowel movement. No pain or clots but definitely some dark red when I wipe. Feeling pretty rough honestly.

Just keeping an eye on it atm because isn't it just the way being the weekend EPU isn't open. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I’m 6 weeks today too! ā¤ļø Well according to LMP anyway, I’m still confused when I ovulated/conceived!

Not sure if this is a bit of a reassurance but I bled everyday up to 13 weeks with my first baby. And then just stopped. She was absolutely ok.
hope everything is ok with you

Thank you, I'm okay nothing seems to be worse. I'm just crying and stressed šŸ˜‚

Limmers14 · 22/11/2025 14:26

Hi all, really feeling nausea and fatigue in the past week. I’m 6w4d. We have our 7 week scan with our IVF clinic on Tuesday but thinking need to tell family this weekend as we’re seeing them and I am falling asleep standing up! I feel so emotional even thinking about telling them.

Book wise, I’ve also bought Expecting Better and Cribsheet by Emily Oster

Salamander91 · 22/11/2025 17:25

I'm out unfortunately. Scan today showed babies heart stopped just after our scan last week at epu. Good luck everyone. Wishing you happy, uneventful pregnancies xx

Curiousrobin · 22/11/2025 18:35

@Salamander91 sorry to hearšŸ˜” I've been there twice now and hoping I don't have it happen again this time. It's the worst club to be a part of! Hope you are doing OK x

Andrasa · 22/11/2025 20:38

Sorry to hear about the bad news people are getting!

had my eight week private scan earlier, was convinced it was bad news as I’ve been so sick (Covid and food poisoning) plus some bleeding and no pregnancy symptoms, not even sore boobs, but everything was super normal, dates lined up and heartbeat normal. Feels very unreal and I’m not sure what to feel tbh, wasn’t long since I was sure I never wanted kids so having a little wobble.

Greengardener1 · 23/11/2025 09:03

@doodlestar the tablets really are horrible! I still have 6 weeks left of them but hoping if I can get another blood test soon to see if they can reduce the dose - its my iron reserves rather than the actual iron levels. They've given me fybogel which isn't doing the 'full job' sorry tmi šŸ˜‚ so I may need to try the prunes though that makes me feel bleh!

@bellarose I feel gut stuff is never too much for me to talk about šŸ˜‚ i already have internal ones so I'm keen to get on top of it at this stage! I was pretty good with my gut health prior to pregnancy but it's all been downhill since šŸ˜‚

So sorry to see your news, I've been there 3 times and it's awful. Take care and be kind to yourself šŸ’•

PolarJadeite · 23/11/2025 09:41

I'm so sorry to hear about the losses šŸ˜”
I'm not optimistic as I've had some spotting but I have to wait to speak to my midwife on Wednesday
Did anyone set up the whatsapp chat that was mentioned? I struggle to keep up on here x

DaLouO · 23/11/2025 09:51

i just want to reiterate what everyone has said regarding early scans sometimes causing more worry than reassurance. I had our early reassurance private scan yesterday when I should have been 6 weeks, scan was measuring around 5 weeks, couldn’t see a lot. There was a gestational sac visible with a little ring inside.

The clinic did say this can be normal and it’s not necessarily a reason to worry just yet as dates can be behind based on a number of factors (implantation, irregular periods and ovulation, scans not picking things up as it is just too early)

feeling a bit disheartened and anxious but trying not to let the worry consume me until the next scan which they’ve rebooked for in 3 weeks 🄺 xxx

I had this 2 days ago after a run. Research it may just be weak blood vessels on the cervix rupturing due to increased blood flow.

I did bleed in previous pregnancies that went full term. Bleeding has also stopped. No cramping or big clots.

I did another 5K yesterday for a cancer charity run (committed to long before I was pregnant). Everything is fine but I may go EPU this week for clarity. We'll see.

Hope everything is okay for you. It's just the not knowing is terrible isn't it. Google doesn't help as all the answers are either It's totally fine and normal or somethings wrong, no in-between.

Mine felt ages but actually didn't seem to last long at all, no pain, no clots, no cramping, no soaking of a pad so I'm just going forward optimistically šŸ¤žšŸ»

Sorry to all those with loss or worrying symptoms
i have really bad Lower back ache today but that’s it - I get a bad back anyhow.

i have a really important week at work this week but feel the worst yet!!! I feel utterly useless at home with our child and my husband. I can barely do anything as any smell is setting me off again!

Babyno2duejuly2026woo · 23/11/2025 18:16

Is anyone else having an early scan before their 12 weeks scan?

I have just booked in for 7 weeks but I’m wondering if I should push it back another week.

I just had mine at eight weeks and you could still barely see anything, I think at seven you’re on the edge of hearing/not hearing the heartbeat so might do more harm than good re reassurance if it’s a bit too early. I’d push it back.

SummerSolstice25 · 23/11/2025 19:44

@Babyno2duejuly2026woo I had a scan at 7+2 and everything was visible, including the heartbeat. But I had another one at 8+1 and it was clearer, and we could actually hear the heartbeat, rather than just seeing it flickering. But it was nice to get some reassurance at 7 weeks.

Going to book mine for 8 weeks. After a lot of reading I decided it wasn’t worth the stress of going earlier and potentially not seeing heartbeat and god knows I’m already anxious enough as it is so I don’t need to be worried anymore than I already am.
