Hey, anyone else due July 2026? I got my first faint positive at 10dpo on Thursday 23rd October, I’m now 14dpo/4 weeks pregnant. Feeling nervous as still very early my period was due tomorrow. I’ve booked an early scan for in a few weeks so hopefully everything is all good, now just an anxious wait

Hi all,

Can I join? 6 weeks 5 days today with my first. Experienced a chemical in May so really anxious, was 9 days away from starting IVF when I found out we were expecting. Got a reassurance scan booked for next Sunday, I’ll be 7 days 5 weeks then. Due 14th July according to my LMP

SummerSolstice25 · 23/11/2025 20:03

Is anyone on progesterone after an IVF pregnancy? If so would you mind telling me what dose you’re on, or if you’ve started weaning off?

Clarysjb · 23/11/2025 21:05

Do we have to take omega 3 in pregnancy? They are included in the pregnacare packs and my vitamins (proceive) recommended them. I’ve taken them today and they’ve seriously upset my stomach not to mention the fish burps (sorry 😭)

SummerSolstice25 · 23/11/2025 21:22

@Clarysjb unless you’re a regular consumer of fish then yes we do I’m afraid. I’m taking the Proceive omegas, they are large and do give a bit of a reflux. I did take Nordic Naturals prenatal before I got pregnant though and those ones were a lot more tolerable. I’m not sure of the dosage difference but I’d recommend looking them up.

StayingHopefulx · 23/11/2025 21:27

Hey all, sorry been a bit mia have been organising my child’s birthday party and have been buuuusssssy! Just a question, I’m having the most awful pain constantly in my left side stomach, not cramping, more like an ovulation pain. And it radiates out my back too…. Should I be worried? Never had this with my first but the more it goes on the more worried I start to feel. Pain not getting worse or better just staying the same

Thank you, I’ll have a look at some of those

Coming from a nurse it could be the corpus luteum or a kidney issue but also I'd be getting checked just to make sure the pregnancy is in the right place. Im sure it is - but might be good just to check. The EPU will take it seriously and if not the ED will do!

Limmers14 · 23/11/2025 22:04

@SummerSolstice25 I’m on 2mg of estradiol, 5mg of Lubion and one Cyclogest pessary. Take it all twice a day. I’m not sure how much longer I’ll be on them. I’m 6w5d. I have my first scan on Tuesday so will know more then. I’ve heard of some women being on them for 8 weeks but some up to 20

Greengardener1 · 23/11/2025 22:40

I have a 6 week viability scan tomorrow at EPU due to past miscarriages so very much hoping all will be OK šŸ™Œ

nekophoenix · 24/11/2025 00:53

Hi all. Sorry to those who have experienced losses and I hope those with symptoms are hanging in there.

Checking in to say the day before my scan my nausea started to subside and is now far more mild and manageable. It’s now been nearly five days where I’ve been left with sore boobs, an achey back and still the intense fatigue (think napping in the car while the family are in the supermarket!). Crossing my fingers the intense nausea will stay away.

Admittedly I hadn’t thought of omega 3 - I struggle to take tablets at the best of times and if I’m honest my folic acid is being taken sporadically, when I can, without gagging it up. I think fishy tablets may be a bit ambitious for me right now.

Phoenix321 · 24/11/2025 05:30

@StayingHopefulx I can't remember what being pregnant felt like before as so long ago but I have discomfort just in the left side radiating round towards the back, it comes and goes, doesn't seem to get any worse and I have lower back ache with it too. I have no idea if it's normal or not!-sorry no help. Other than that symptoms are constipation (don't remember that last time) and boobs have started to get a bit tender on and off. Have also been battling a cold for the past nearly 2 weeks which is just annoying me now. Hoping all is ok for you and it's just ligaments stretchy pains.

Just had my booking in appointment, took longer than expected (nearly an hour) but good to get in the system. Got abducted by the vaccine woman and given my flu vaccine too but probably a great time to have that so don’t get too sick for Christmas.

felt weird being in the waiting room with everyone looking very pregnant, I still feel like it’s not really real!

my twelve week scan should be the week before Christmas so be a nice thing to show people.

other than a bit tired back to feeling completely normal today šŸ™‚

Doodlestar · 24/11/2025 12:19

@Andrasa great you are feeling better!
I did my referral last night for booking. And I just got an invitation from them to download Badger app (anyone else's area use that?) so maybe the appointment will appear in there. I'm only just 5 weeks so 12 week scan will be January I think. Before Christmas is lovely for you!

My area uses badger notes too. I can see my appt on the app but it did come through as an email too.

Elephantscantjump · 24/11/2025 13:29

I'm trying to be chill but the anxiety is just mad atm. After the light bleeding/spotting it all seems to have calmed down, I really am wondering if it's to do with bowel movements as the 2x its happened its been after this.

I haven't called epu again as in no pain, no other concerns, boobs still sore, nausea and dry mouth present and now seem to be crying at the drop of a hat. They are due to see me Friday for a follow up scan anyway so just going to try and be calm and positive through the week.

Hope everyone's doing okay

Threecheersfor26 · 24/11/2025 14:08

Has anyone had pink bleeding? I’m approx 7 weeks but not sure to ring dr or not.

Is it really light? Spotting can be really normal x if you feel any pain or are concerned call epu

It was there after a few wipes but I’ve had brown spotting for the past few weeks so decided to ring the GP.

They’ve referred me to EPU to be on the safe side. Not sure when I expect to be seen.

Juicytoot287 · 24/11/2025 17:15

My area uses Badger Notes - I will say I got the notification for my scan on my NHS app too which notified me but the one on the app didn’t - it is also in the app though.

im so jealous of the people feeling human again! Mines ramped back up and sickness meds not helping me at all now 😭

becoming tempted for a scan to see the baby as it might help how awful I feel worth it! I feel bed bound - cannot even open the fridge without heaving or sick!

I’m also just gone 5 weeks! Going to be so hard to keep it quiet over Christmas šŸ˜‚ but I really want to keep it to ourselves until we’ve had our 12 week scan and some tests. Harder then I expected having to be more strategic at work - don’t want to make a thing about having so many decafs all of a sudden, so making sure I do a lot of the tea rounds šŸ˜‚

Hi please can I join due date July 28th?

Catlady1991 · 24/11/2025 20:45

How did it go?

It went well thank you, I'm still in a bit of disbelief! Everything where it should be and seen a little heartbeat šŸ’• I can get 1 more scan under epu in 3 weeks time so that's my next hurdle šŸ™Œ they think the tiny bit of spotting last week was hormonal/cervical ectopy and due to this, I will likely bleed again at some point. So I'm going to have to work out a way of keeping calm if I see any spotting again - so hard with a history of miscarriage 🫠

Sunnycrispwinterrobin · 24/11/2025 21:51

Has anyone made a Facebook for this group, or if not would anyone be interested in joining? I still use the group that was created in my last pregnancy in 2023, it is a fab support group!
