Hey, anyone else due July 2026? I got my first faint positive at 10dpo on Thursday 23rd October, I’m now 14dpo/4 weeks pregnant. Feeling nervous as still very early my period was due tomorrow. I’ve booked an early scan for in a few weeks so hopefully everything is all good, now just an anxious wait

Unfortunately looks like another loss for me. Spotting over the weekend has turned into increasingly heavy bleeding and I'm waiting for blood test results that I expect will confirm a miscarriage just before 8 weeks.

I am angry. I chased and chased for early support due to my history, and the midwives never even replied to my texts or returned calls from the gp. I'll never know what causes my losses and whether progesterone might have made a difference.

I wish all of you safe and sticky pregnancies, and smooth deliveries when the time comes. For those of you who bought mcr tickets and won't be there, I'll sing extra loudly for you!

I’m so sorry, I pray that it isn’t the case for you šŸ–¤

i know your frustration and anger about not receiving early support, I felt the same feelings at the start of the year with my last one, while it doesn’t help the feelings please know it’s perfectly valid to feel that way šŸ–¤

lastly in regards to the mcr line, I had tickets for Wembley and anfield and I’m adamant to somehow still go 😭

ThePatternAmber · 19/11/2025 13:02

Sorry guys been a bit AWOL from this thread, been struggling with the nausea and tiredness now at 7 weeks 2 days 😢not fully caught up yet but seen the chat about missing MCR, my due date is 2 days after the day i was supposed to be going as well šŸ™ƒlol can't believe how many of us will be missing out !

In other news I had a private scan at 6 week exactly and everything was seen and the heartbeat so was very reassuring for me, got another booked for this monday coming when il be 8 weeks 😊

Does anybody else feel a bit lonely because they haven’t told anyone they are pregnant? None of my friends or family know and as caring as my husband is he doesn’t understand how quickly I’ve felt different and how pregnancy affects you emotionally, physically etc

I don’t have any sisters and none of my female friends have had children so kind of venturing into the dark with no guidance here! Also any advice on being pregnant when other people are ttc? I’m so happy for myself and so sad for them and I don’t know what to say!

Yes I am also feeling a little lonely some days - it’s a strange thing to keep to yourself isn’t it! For a bit of balance I have a lot of friends with sisters and I think it’s easy to look on their relationships with rose tinted glasses sometimes. I wish I had a sister to confide in but not all sisters have that relationship! Keeping things balanced by looking forward to telling friends after Christmas if all goes well!

Gryffindoratheart · 19/11/2025 17:50

I’ve told my youngest brother whose wife is due next month, but haven’t told my other brothers yet. I’ve also told work as I’m a nurse and need to make sure I’m safe.

went for a scan today at 6 weeks 6 days and saw my little one’s heart beating along šŸ˜

Has anyone got experience with line progression on easy @ homes. I tested on Sunday at around 14/15dpo and the line was almost the same as the control line. But since then it’s not changed. In my previous pregnancies I think I had a dye stealer by now
(18-19dpo)

Even writing this feels a bit ridiculous haha just looking for reassurance

Here's mine from 16dpo onwards. Used a different brand before that! They don't really get much darker than mine at 18dpo I've noticed!

I'm sorry to hear this, and particularly the lack of support and care you've experienced. That's really unfair, as you've clearly been so proactive. I'll keep fingers crossed that you will get a better outcome soon xx

Im so sorry. I've been there 3 times and it's awful and never gets easier. Lots of comfort food and drinks xx

Hey Ladies, am I ok to join? Currently pregnant with baby 2, due 29th July 2026.
anyone else got the same date?

jw97 · 19/11/2025 20:35

Hey! Joining as I got my BFP this morning 🄹 this will be my first, it feels so surreal but really exciting but I’m suddenly really apprehensive about something going wrong, or something being wrong with the baby, tell me this is normal 😫 I have literally no concrete reason to be worried but I can’t help it šŸ™„

I found out on Monday and I feel exactly the same!!

EllieWales · 19/11/2025 21:52

Aww that’s lovely @Clarysjb first grandchild is very exciting! With my first I told my mum and sister at 6 weeks because I couldn’t keep it a secret but I’m feeling less inclined to tell anyone this time. I’m quite enjoying it just being between my partner and I for now.

@Curiousrobin sorry about your losses that must’ve been incredibly difficult and understandable that you’d be nervous this time around. Hope everything works out for you!

nekophoenix · 20/11/2025 06:58

Had my first scan today. Measuring bang on where we thought (7wks +3) and it was surreal to see the heartbeat (150bpm). I found the experience really overwhelming and was speechless. I cannot believe I am pregnant and having an actual human baby

I’ve got a scan booked for when I’m 7 weeks. Currently 4 weeks. I wish the time would hurry up 🤣

I found out on Monday and I feel exactly the same!!

Isn’t it weird? I’m torn between excitement and worry, but then that’s me in a nutshell!!

how are you feeling? I’m feeling a bit more tired than usual and occasionally a bit nauseous but nothing terrible so far. Trying to make the most of it! šŸ˜‚

I’m trying to focus on the excitement because we can’t control anything that may happen and should enjoy being in the present! I’m feeling a bit more tired than usual, my biggest thing is being breathless (I have low iron but when I wasn’t pregnant my GP didn’t care) so I’m hoping to chat to midwife about it at my first appointment.

I also noticed I’m a bit breathless when I haven’t really done much! Yeah definitely good to keep an eye on!
I’ve self referred but just waiting for someone to get in touch for my first appointment. Did that take long for you? I’m only about 5 weeks. And yes you’re so right about just focusing on what’s in our control!

It is!

Our first month of trying and to be honest I had in my mind that we would conceive Dec / Jan so it was all a shock - a pleasant one and it’s amazing when/that it ā€œworksā€ (it’s like I never studied in biology at school!). We are mid thirties so I had mentally prepared myself for at least some sort of waiting game.

It was an internal scan as you could see so much more but the midwife did try the tummy and from that she could see the baby and a flicker of a heartbeat - but internal was great for the pictures and videos and to see the inner workings!

A total relief to connect the symptoms to a heartbeat and so sweet to see. It really did feel a bit scary too - I said to my husband afterwards that I feel like a baby myself and so much responsibility to keep the baby safe in my body. I am a grown woman in my mid-thirties ffs haha.

I am also a feline enthusiast and I love those videos of cats meeting babies on insta and hoping mine take to the baby (I will sob - it will be too cute). 🄹🐈

I’ve been on both sides, the one ttc after losing a pregnancy whilst my friends have been pregnant and also the pregnant one whilst one of my friends were ttc without luck.

You are allowed to be excited, you are allowed to find pregnancy tough, you can feel all the emotions. Tell your friends but be sensitive to their situation. I always used to check my friend was ok with hearing updates and was understanding to her situation. Remember you are allowed to feel happy for yourself too xx

Oh wow!! So exciting. So pleased it happened so quickly for you. That’s similar what experienced with baby 1

baby 2 took about 5 cycles. I thought I was out this month as we dtd once - but it worked! So still pretty shocked

Thank you so much for this advice, I’m finding it difficult to talk to her now because she’s so interested to hear my symptoms and when I tell her I’m exhausted or not feeling great she’ll say I’m so lucky to be experiencing that (and I am, I am so so happy but also tired šŸ˜‚)
