Hey, anyone else due July 2026? I got my first faint positive at 10dpo on Thursday 23rd October, I’m now 14dpo/4 weeks pregnant. Feeling nervous as still very early my period was due tomorrow. I’ve booked an early scan for in a few weeks so hopefully everything is all good, now just an anxious wait

I’m about 5 weeks now I think, just found out last week. Booked an early scan for 8 weeks so I am looking forward to that. We have a nearly 2 year old toddler and I had a very calm and lovely pregnancy with him but I am a nervous wreck this time around. I dread every time I pee in case I see something and just can’t seem to relax. Anyone else feel like this? I am hoping once I see a heartbeat šŸ¤žšŸ¼šŸ¤žšŸ¼ I will feel abit more relaxed.

I feel like this is me all the time šŸ˜‚my next milestone is getting to 6 weeks and see if there is a heartbeat but that feels so long away!

Welcome to the thread @Whyowhomy sorry to hear you are feeling lonely. Got everything crossed for you x

Doodlestar · 17/11/2025 21:33

Tentatively joining this thread after a positive test today!
Would be due late July, the 27th according to Flo. Baby number 2 and just the 2nd month trying so feeling very grateful.

First time around I got an early scan about 8weeks as it made me feel happier to tell people. I felt the scan was very professional and reassuring, personally. This time it's going to be even trickier to hide due to Xmas etc so I will probably do the same.

I do actually have a weekend away with friends next weekend so someone may well end up realising during that...will be hard to hide as it's quite a boozy crowd šŸ«£šŸ˜…

I had my early scan today and everything seems where it should be and measuring where it should be at 5 weeks, which is reassuring. However had small spotting pink/brown this morning and clinic said whilst they aren't concerned, they have offered me cyclogest (progesterone) due to previous miscarriages. Is anyone else taking these pessaries? I had a transvaginal ultrasound so have had a bit more spotting after this but hoping that's just due to irritation and I know i have a cervical ectopy šŸ’•

I had spotting last week so they put me on cyclogest too because of a previous miscarriage. I've not noticed too much yet apart from boobs being a bit more sore and possibly more emotional. I haven't had any spotting today so hoping it was just the sex last week that set it off.

StayingHopefulx · 18/11/2025 00:55

@Phoenix321 exactly this I definitely don’t think I’ll be able to hide it! Getting early scan on the 5th December so at least I’ll have that reassurance if people start asking questions!
how come you are worried about how some people might react?

The midwife did say they would likely increase my symptoms but I'm willing to try anything, in relived they gave me progesterone as they wouldn't do this on previous miscarriages. Glad your spotting has stopped šŸ’•

Cautiously joining after a few positive tests in a row, I would be due 31st July and this is baby number 1 🄰

Also tentatively joining here as had a positive a couple of days ago - dates saying I'd be 28th July but would probably be booked in to deliver before then due to previous challenges.

Nervous but also very hopeful!

Andrasa · 18/11/2025 17:00

I’ve spent all afternoon throwing up and now regretting all posts about being worried about no symptoms. This is awful.

Juicytoot287 · 18/11/2025 17:29

@Andrasa oh no! Hope it is a one off for you and eases up soon,

I have waves of it being unbearable and then days where it’s just niggling away. Once our hormones balance out it should improve

EllieWales · 18/11/2025 19:54

I’m a bit late to the party, due on July 12th so I’m about 6 weeks with #2. Having a private scan at 8 weeks ahead of a Christmas announcement (if I can hide it that long I look about 20 weeks already). Anyone else planning to tell others at Christmas?

Me! I’ll be 9 weeks on Christmas Day and going for an 8 week private scan before so I have something to show everyone. It’s the first grandchild on both sides so want to make it special for them. I get you though, no idea how I’ll keep it under wraps until then!

I’d say I’m in that camp too - some days I wake up and feel so unbearable I can’t help but cry until I muster the strength to shower and get some fresh air, other days I eat my dry bread in bed and feel well enough to go about the day with comparatively mild discomfort and nausea.

I also feel a bit lonely not telling anyone and mostly want to tell my mum so I can ask her how her symptoms were with all of her children and - depending on her answer - hope my symptoms are/are not the samešŸ˜‚

Thanks! I’m actually leaning towards it maybe being a stomach bug, it seems odd to go from 0 to puking 9 times in 12 hours, and (tmi) also have liquid diarrhoea.

thankfully home from my Asia trip now so at least I can suffer at home and not have to eat such questionable food.

Phoenix321 · 19/11/2025 05:10

@Andrasa sounds like a bug - hope you feel better soon!

I would like to. It's a repeat of last year for me though. I had been for a scan on Christmas Eve but unfortunately at that scan, although we saw a heartbeat, baby was measuring almost 2 weeks behind. I decided to tell family anyway as I thought it be obvious that I'm not drinking (and i wanted their support as it didn't look good). In January I lost the pregnancy. I then went on to have a chemical pregnancy, and then another loss in August. I will have an early scan on Dec 1st with EPU, due to my losses this year. I'm debating whether to get another scan done near Christmas Eve again! I think I will - will be 11 weeks

Threecheersfor26 · 19/11/2025 09:47

Has anyone heard about their booking appointment yet?

I self referred 2 weeks ago (I was only 4 weeks exact so very early!). The online form says to contact them if you haven’t heard after 2 weeks.

I don’t know if I should chase today or wait until Monday.

I’ve also booked in for a private scan for the 29th where I’d be about 7+3.

PolarJadeite · 19/11/2025 09:52

Congratulations all! Tentatively joining this thread as I got a positive test yesterday - digital showing me as 2-3 weeks so I think that puts me due around mid July?
A bit unsure about dates because I haven't really had a proper period since having my little girl in Sept 2024, I'm still breastfeeding and am one of the lucky ones who doesnt get periods apparently!

I had an initial phone call where they said they had received my referral and just to wait for a midwife to be in touch when I have been assigned one.

I haven’t heard anything else. I am slightly worried because I have an underactive thyroid so I know I need to have regular bloods but it doesn’t seem like they’re that bothered hahah!

Has anyone got experience with line progression on easy @ homes. I tested on Sunday at around 14/15dpo and the line was almost the same as the control line. But since then it’s not changed. In my previous pregnancies I think I had a dye stealer by now
(18-19dpo)

Even writing this feels a bit ridiculous haha just looking for reassurance

I always had dye stealers in previous pregnancies and I haven’t this time around, they haven’t been getting fainter and they are pretty dark, just not getting darker.

I did stop testing around a week or so ago, just because I found it was making me worry to keep trying and not seeing a dye stealer. When I looked it up it said plenty of people don’t get them and have healthy pregnancies so I found that comforting xx

Stitchwizz · 19/11/2025 11:30

Unfortunately looks like another loss for me. Spotting over the weekend has turned into increasingly heavy bleeding and I'm waiting for blood test results that I expect will confirm a miscarriage just before 8 weeks.

I am angry. I chased and chased for early support due to my history, and the midwives never even replied to my texts or returned calls from the gp. I'll never know what causes my losses and whether progesterone might have made a difference.

I wish all of you safe and sticky pregnancies, and smooth deliveries when the time comes. For those of you who bought mcr tickets and won't be there, I'll sing extra loudly for you!
