It really is. My scan is August too and I’m at the midwife on Wednesday. I’m hoping I get to listen to the heartbeat, but I know some areas don’t do that now (hoping mine does!).
I can feel tiny movements the same as you in the morning 😊

oh the wee thing! Same! I keep dashing to the toilet when I am out and about like I might wet myself at any minute, I get there and barely anything! 🤣

When is your due date? I think you’ve mentioned, but my memory is terrible. X

I’m not as far on yet but I do remember that last time. I booked a scan at 17 weeks to find out sex of baby, so that helped knowing there was something between the 12 and 20 week scan. Will prob do same again x

Yeah I think if there was a scan in-between it can help reassure you. I know friends have done the same too. We’ve decided not to have a scan as we don’t want any temptation to find out the sex. We are keeping it as a surprise 😊 x

Ive heard that some places have stopped doing that, I hope mine hasn't. Im sure with my ds I did but thats nearly 5 years ago now. Fingers crossed you get to listen.

Im exactly the same started thinking did I have uti hahah but with you saying your the same must just be a symtom. I feel like my belly's propa popped too maybe that explains the tiny bladder haha.

I’ve got my early GTT this morning (had gestational diabetes in my second pregnancy) and the thought of spending 2 hours ‘at rest’ in the warm, stuffy, sometimes smelly, clinic waiting room is massively relaxing to me…

@Mackemlass79 welcome and congratulations! I’m due on the 4th but will be having a planned section after Christmas if all goes well, before Christmas if it doesn’t.

Hi everyone. Had my 12 week scan yesterday and baby was being a pickle and not getting into position but the midwives were great and very persistent so they eventually got the measurements needed and all looks good! EDD of Jan 20th now, so about 5 days behind what we originally thought.

Well 12 week scan done and actually measuring 13w1d so due date has been brought forward to 15th Jan
Such relief to see a little bean moving around, never thought I’d make it to this point!
I’ll be under a consultant due to my history which I didn’t realise but not necessarily a bad thing and they’ve started me on aspirin as well.
Already been trying to do nub theory which is looking like a boy 👀 just for fun at this point, we’ll be over the moon with either.
Hope everyone is coping okay with the heat..

I saw my consultant for the first time yesterday and she put me on aspirin too. I don’t need to see her again for another 18 weeks though. X

Happy your scan went well! Have you put your scan photo into ChatGPT for the nub theory? I did with mine got a boy but everyone is convinced I’m having a girl. Will find out in a week with my gender scan!

Seeing about the nub theory I think im having another boy. I'll be delighted with either. Everyone keeps saying oh you need a girl so you have one of each but that really doesn't bother me don't no why people are obsessed hahs.

I couldn’t tell what I was supposed to be looking at 😂 it also said my 6 week scan was a boy based on ramzi theory but the ring test and Chinese’s calendar say girl.. we are also finding out early but have a few weeks left yet.. I’m excited to find out but honestly wouldn’t mind either way. You’ll have to let us know next week if you’re sharing ☺️

@Jadeypie@Confusedmermaid1Yeah I’m happy with either as long as baby is healthy. Chinese gender calendar says girl and nub theory say boy but I compared my scan this time to my first son at the same time and they look completely different 🙈

I was in hosptial yesterday for more fluids and iv meds and my HCG has risen again from 2 weeks ago when I was last in when it should be dropping now according to DR google that could suggest I’m having a girl, so be interesting to see.

I couldn’t wait until 20 weeks scan I can barely wait the week 🤣 near me they do gender scan from 15 weeks so booked exactly when I’m 15 weeks. But will definitely share in the group next week after the appointment. X

I’ve just had a go on Chat GPT and it says girl. We’ll see. I don’t mind either way tbh. I know girl stuff better, obvs, but people often say boys are easier!

Ive just done mine haha and its saying girl, im convinced boy tho! Seriously I have no patience so time will tell haha its flying for me tbh I feel like im blinking and another weeks gone hahs xx

Oh this HG is really giving you a hard time isn't it! How long does the iv make your feel abit better for? Its a shame you crnt just hook up at home whenever you feel bad!

the heat not helping that half the issue. Makes me more sick literally the iv meds so good as soon as they administer them I feel better than that last a couple days. So get some relief.! I wish I could would make it so easier. I do seek to be seen a lot quicker now as A&E used to seeing me 😅

Hi everyone! Hoping for some reassurance or maybe some suggestions. I’m 12 weeks today and for the past 2 days I’ve felt non stop mild cramping - feels like my uterus is hurting and it is visibly sticking out! I know that this is a time full of change but I also have 7 fibroids and they did say as the pregnancy develops they might cause me discomfort. I haven’t had blood or anything, but can’t help but worry as the cramps haven’t stopped at all. They are just there like a dull ache. Has anyone experienced this? I’ve got my scan on Monday and my EPU isn’t open at the weekends so I know there’s nothing I can really do. Hopefully someone will have some advice or words or wisdom! It’s my first pregnancy so all new to me…

Hi @peps2917 ❤️ I dont have much advice but just wanted to give you a hand hold, I'm also 12 weeks today and had some random pains over the last 48 hours or so which is panicking me slightly, its horrible having to wait around for the scans isn't it? Mine isn't until 13+2 🙈 from what I've read though I think that the cramping is quite normal and can increase from 11 weeks as everything has to do a lot of stretching, and I read at 12 weeks that it pops up out of the pelvis and becomes more obvious so that sounds right that you can see it more! Do you have any plans tomorrow? Hopefully it will fly by for you and you'll get lots of lovely news on Monday ❤️❤️ xx

Thanks @TigerLily38 💗💗💗!! I asked good old Chat GPT and was also quite reassuring. I wasn’t nervous about my scan but now I am as these pains have been non stop!! My friend had it too which makes me feel better. It does make sense - like you say things are stretching so it’s bound to hurt!!

I’m seeing a friend for brunch tomorrow which will be lovely. Work have actually given me the whole day off on Monday so I don’t have to rush around so it’s like a 3 day weekend. Can’t wait for the scan!

Annoying you have to wait a little longer - you’ve had private ones though right? My last scan was at 10+2.

Every day there’s something!!!! At least the nausea has subsided. That was AWFUL!

@peps2917 aww I'm glad you're feeling a bit better now!! Great that you have lovely plans tomorrow too, that will definitely take your mind off things and make the day go quickly 😊😊

Yep I had a private one at 9+2, was soooo reassuring but it feels so long ago now that I'm back to being an anxious Annie again 🙈 8 days to go and it can't come quickly enough 😅

So glad your nausea has gone!! I'm not very good at all with sickness so very grateful I haven't really had much nausea, only the odd few days. You are a trooper getting through a whole trimester of it!!!👏 hope you can enjoy brunch tomorrow now it has subsided 🥰
