@Jadeypie sorry to hear of your losses. Totally get that. I think we need to talk about it to process it all!

SophR890 · 26/05/2025 15:58

Is anyone feeling really crampy? I’m trying not to worry because my test lines are strong but can’t remember if I had this with my daughter? I’m 4 weeks and 5 days today x

@SophR890 I was really crampy initially and still a little bit on and off now at almost 6 weeks! As far as I can remember it was the same for my other three pregnancies.

PilatesAndLattes · 26/05/2025 16:12

@sweetpea2026 I can see two lines! I’d probably test with another brand just to be certain though

aw waw thank you i’ll definitely do a digital test too :)

SureLook · 26/05/2025 16:33

@SophR890 yep, I'm crampy and having twinges on and off. I think it's just the growing and stretching.

@sweetpea2026 I can see a line definitely.

@SophR890 don't worry. That's what we're here for!

Henbags · 26/05/2025 17:00

Is anybody else having any brown spotting? I’ve had it on and off for the past week. I’m about 4+2. I had it for the first couple of weeks with my son but it’s as unnerving now as it was then!

ttcjourney20001 · 26/05/2025 17:02

My sickness is definitely peaking, 9 wks tomorrow and still as sick as a dog. 🤢

SureLook · 26/05/2025 17:52

@Henbags not personally but it's totally normal. Plus brown means old blood. I'm sure everything is absolutely fine!

@ttcjourney20001 hopefully it eases off soon 🤞🏻

Hey can I join please. I found out I was pregnant back at the start of May, due 6th January according lmp. However this time round I’m really struggling with nausea and sickness, the GP prescribed anti sickness medication but I’m still struggling. Anyone else’s sickness been bad?

BunMum26 · 26/05/2025 18:59

gosh the tiredness is so real! I’ve been exhausted, never experienced anything like it, I’ve had to nap every day this weekend (i think I can count on 1 hand the amount of naps I’ve had in my life prior to this, and they were as a result of jet lag/covid!) but apart from that and sore nipples, I’ve had no other symptoms. Did another clear blue test today and it’s moved up a week to 3+ so things are definitely moving in the right direction. I’ve booked an early scan for 2 weeks time when I’ll be 8 weeks although wishing I’d have booked it for next weekend now as it feels so far away! I am off work this week for half term but really worrying how I will cope without my afternoon nap when I’m back in work in June!

hope everyone else is doing ok :)

SureLook · 26/05/2025 19:06

Welcome @Sunshinemoom and congratulations! I'm not suffering with sickness myself but plenty of the girls here are. I'm sure someone will be along with some wisdom.

@BunMum26 oh the first trimester tiredness is next level! I'm 5 weeks today and it's hitting me now. I've a scan booked for 7 weeks, can't come quick enough 😂

Hey! Sorry you're struggling with sickness too. If you've been on the medication for a week or so and it's not helping, don't be afraid to go back to the doctor. There's a few different medications they can try and they impact people differently. Definitely don't sit in silence and suffer.

It’s only been 3 days since starting. I’m going to give it until it’s been a week and go back to the GP if I haven’t seen much improvement. It’s definitely reduced the amount of times I’m physically sick but hadn’t really touched the nausea.

I’ve got my booking in appointment tomorrow with the midwife so I’m gonna ask them for some advice as well. Nothing helping which helped me in my first pregnancy with sickness!

Thank you @SureLook! still hasn’t sunk in yet I’m pregnant even though I’m 8 weeks tomorrow

oldmcdonald87 · 26/05/2025 20:29

Is it bad if you have less symptoms than previous pregnancies?

I’m 5 weeks tomorrow. I started off with sore fuller boobs, implantation pains, increased CM, really thirsty, waves of nausea and lots of burping - all the same as my first pregnancy but in the last couple of days a lot of my symptoms have stopped. I’m really tired but my toddler has been waking lots so it’s hard to know what’s pregnancy tired and just tired! I’m worried that it’s a bad sign that my symptoms seem to be dying off?

This was my test yesterday. Lines darker than previous.

I had this last week and was in a total panic. It was on and off for about 3 days and then stopped. Everything I’ve read says it’s quite common and normal. So hoping all ok x

SureLook · 27/05/2025 00:01

@Sunshinemoom I know what you mean! I think it takes a while for it to sink in 😂

@oldmcdonald87 I think symptoms can come and go and you're still so early! Most symptoms don't properly kick in until around 6 weeks. Your lines getting darker is a good thing although continuing to test can cause anxiety itself. Says me as I plan on testing again tomorrow morning to see the progression 🙃

This is my fear!! I've been bad since 6 weeks I'm 8 now hoping by some miracle I'm one of the lucky ones that don't peak at 9.

Hang in there!! Hopefully this is the worst and it starts getting better xx

TigerLily38 · 27/05/2025 12:56

Sorry to everyone experiencing morning sickness ☹️ hope it passes for you all quickly!

Today is my first day feeling nauseous and hoping it passes🙈 people who have morning sickness - does it start gradually or do you just wake up one day and boom, there it is?👀
