Hope it’s ok to join. Just found out Monday that I’m pregnant. I have a shorter cycle since coming off the pill 6 months ago so I think I’m only 4 weeks this Saturday.

It’s my second but I’m still terrified! Have been having some very minimal brown spotting but I also had that when I was pregnant with my first for the first 2 weeks so I’m hoping it’s nothing bad…

Heyy and Congratulations! I had some brown spotting around the day my period was due it’s so normal! Also my 2nd baby here too! How old is your first?

@SureLookaw I’m hoping for a good pregnancy for you! It’s so hard not to be anxious. I’m doing okay just unsure whether to wait until the 12 week scan or book an early one 🫣 not sure I can wait 6/7 weeks!

@Henbags welcome! Spotting is totally normal which we all know but reason and logic goes out the window when you're pregnant 😂

@Bexxy28 I had an early scan with my first, I definitely can't wait. I'm gonna book a scan at seven weeks for sure!

I’m terrified too despite it being my second! My first had colic as a newborn and I’m keeping everything crossed this next baby is chill 😆

You’re definitely right there! It’s so hard to think logically when you’re in the pregnancy bubble! 😂

@oldmcdonald87 my first had terrible colic too and I'm praying this one doesn't have to suffer with it! It's a nightmare isn't it xx

@Henbags no one mentions the terrible 3s do they haha my ds is 4 and he's turned into a little angel. He does think he's a teenager though he actually told me he was i couldn't stop laughing xx

@SureLookyeah I think I’m going to book an early one too for peace of mind 😅 I had one at 7w with my last baby and it definitely helped!

@SureLook i know how hard it is when the tests aren’t getting darker. Just thought I’d let you know I haven’t had a dye stealer at all! This was my latest scan yesterday and everything’s looking good ❤️

Do you drink a lot of water? I feel I drink so much my urine is never concentrated enough to get a dye stealer. I’m 7 weeks 1 day. I think some people just do not get the progression others do!

I had a clear blue tell me it was still 1-2 weeks (should have been 2-3). Had a complete breakdown. Went and got bloods and my hcg levels were 1555 🤣

@Bexxy28 it definitely helps get through the first trimester!

@Balloonmum I got a fairly dark test this morning. That's reassuring about your scan ❤️ I do drink loads of water and I don't wanna stop doing that 😂

just wondering if anyone got a 3+ reading on clearblue before the 5 weeks mark i got a 3+ around 4 weeks 5 days and with twins running in the family im just wondering if this is common :) thanks

i did, I think it was around the same as you 4wk +5.
and I’m pretty sure there’s only one. I am going for an early scan tomorrow, I THINK I’m 7 wk +1 now.
i feel like I’ve known I’ve been pregnant for ages!
I got my bfp on CD20, feels like forever ago 😂

omg best of luck!!! i was the same i found out 9dpo and its DRAGGING IN i’m like how am i still in the 4 week zone!! 🤣🤣

thanks, I’m so nervous though, I just want to know it’s all going well, as apart from sore boobs, I have no symptoms. Which plays with my head 🙈

Had my first consultant led appointment this morning which is just bonkers to me given I’ve yet to book in with the midwife. Been told to start aspirin at 12 weeks (previous preeclampsia), will have extra scans at 32 & 36 and he’ll sign off now on a section if I want to go down that route. Successful appointment - and actually on time!

now to just keep ticking along until booking in and getting that dating scan in the diary 🤞

Hope it’s ok to join. I just tested positive today at 12dpo, currently 4 weeks exactly. From my periods I would be due on Jan 30th so I’m joining this group in hopes I will indeed have a January baby.

6th baby.
super excited and nervous at the same time.
HG in all my pregnancies, so bad I’ve been bed abound and hospitalised in the past.
doesn’t usually start until 7 weeks. So I really should enjoy being symptom free (besides dull aches and mild discomfort in lower stomach), but instead I will panic myself until I finally start vomiting and then regret ever wishing for it to return.

@CatsCoffeeChocolate welcome and congratulations. 6th baby, wow! Maybe this time you won't get HG 🤞🏻

yeah I know 6 is crazy, but I’m what my husband likes to call a “breeder” 😂
it will be our last baby since we will both be 36 when it arrives.
I was going to wait until I was closer to 40, but decided it might not be worth the risk of waiting and that if I knew for sure I wanted one more, we should just start trying now.
Im shocked because it’s the first time ever that we have fallen pregnant on our first month of trying.

I regret finding out so early though, because I suck at waiting 😅
Not told my hubby, hoping to be able to hide it until Fathers Day 🤞🏻
