Hi guys,

if like me you’ve just got your BFP, then it’s likely you’re due in January too!
congratulations.

Supposed to be around 7wks6d, but I’m expecting it to be a little out by a couple of days. Scan is in an hour and a half, absolutely bricking it. Feel sick (I know that’s normal for me right now) but I feel even more sick, like from the pits of my stomach, I’m shaky and nervous. Been tossing and turning since the crack of dawn 🤢

Fingers crossed for you ❤️

Jadeypie · 21/05/2025 08:30

@ttcjourney20001 good luck!! The nerves are totally understandable. Will be checking in on you xx

@SureLook oops thank you haha so many posts on here I get lost haha xx

Moosey898 · 21/05/2025 08:34

@ttcjourney20001 oh bless you I completely understand and know those feelings. I need to book an early scan with the EPAU (4 previous missed miscarriages) but I just don't want to go through another loss so I'm sort of pretending the pregnancy isn't real currently and putting off phoning them🤦I'm going away with friends next weekend, so think I might do the scan after that at around 8+3 as if it's another missed miscarriage it would ruin the trip.

Moosey898 · 21/05/2025 08:35

Fingers crossed for you everything looks good today xx

SureLook · 21/05/2025 08:48

@Jadeypie I'm the same 😂 it's so hard to keep track!

@Moosey898 I'm so sorry to hear you've had four MMCs. How traumatic for you. Have you had any tests or anything? I've had one MMC and found that hard enough. Very nervous for this pregnancy also.

Thank you - yeah I have had all the testing and I have not one but 2 chromosome abnormalities unfortunately. Although my most recent 2 were not related to that and were just bad luck which really sucks. My miscarriage risk is around 3x the normal for my age, so I'm optimistically looking at a 50/50 survival rate sort of situation.

Who else is looking after toddlers whilst pregnant? I have a 3 and 2 year old and gosh I’m so tired 😴

KLK94 · 21/05/2025 10:01

@PilatesAndLattes I have a 9month old, I am absolutely shattered. She’s crawling now and desperate to walk bless her

I had blocked out how gassy you get when pregnant. Woke up last night with trapped wind and fully understand why babies cry when they need burping.

pregnancy is so glamorous 😂

Aww bless her, she’s got this 💪🏻 tiring for you though 😅 That means you will have 18 months between your babies right? That’s the same age gap as my 3 and 2 year old and honestly it’s the best, they love each other so much

Yes my little one will be 2 end of July, I’m only 13dpo so tiredness hasn’t kicked in yet 🤣

KLK94 · 21/05/2025 12:52

@PilatesAndLattes yeah 18 ish months gap. Same as me and my brother. I’ve also got a 7 year old, but she’s no trouble at all hahaha

Omg I have an 8 year old (she was 7 when I was pregnant with my third) so your children will be exactly the same ages and possibly sexes as mine! Two older sisters and a younger brother, how funny! Agree the older one is no trouble at all, she’s at school or clubs half the time too

Maybe you’ll be lucky and stay quite energetic 🤞🏻

Ivebeenthinkingtoomuch · 21/05/2025 13:29

How’s everyone’s sickness? I’ve been bedridden for the last two days, feeling so nauseous and actually being sick. Been prescribed medication from the doctors which may have helped the tiniest bit but I don’t know how I’ll be able to go back to work tomorrow (im a teacher 😭). I’m about 6w5days, early scan on Saturday too!!

KLK94 · 21/05/2025 13:36

@PilatesAndLattes Oh my gosh how funny is that!!! What a coincidence. Yeah eldest is always in some sort of club or at her dads half the time so she’s really no trouble at all.

@Ivebeenthinkingtoomuch go steady, there is a very savage sick bug going around atm as well btw. I had it last week, caught it off the baby from nursery, then the eldest got it from me 5 days later. It’s also spreading around work. It’s a very very bad one. Plenty of fluids and rest

Anyone experienced any one sided pain? Pain is not severe and I have not had any bleeding or spotting. Have an emergency scan on Friday when I will be 6 weeks.

geordiegal87 · 21/05/2025 14:18

Hi all
Pregnant and due 25th Jan.
Got a faint positive 10dpo but have since been in epau with pains. Had a scan and they couldn't see anything, hcg last Thursday 273 then on the Sunday 935. Been asked to go back for a rescan on Friday I'm so so anxious. My son is 11 and my step daughter is 6. We are both 37 and decided it was now or never... expected it to take a while due to my age and being on the pill for 10 years, stopped the pill in Feb and now I'm pregnant 🤣

SureLook · 21/05/2025 15:34

@Moosey898 aww, that's so hard. How far along are you now?

@TigerLily38 I'm glad you're feeling better now!

@PilatesAndLattes I've a two and a half year old. She's in creche full time though so I only have to deal with her in the evenings and the weekends 😂

@Thegirlhasnamechanged oh the glamour of it all!

@HazelPeer welcome and congratulations! I'd say your pain is just round ligament pain from all the growing and stretching.

@KLK94 can us Irish join the FB group? It says UK only 😂

@Ivebeenthinkingtoomuch aww sorry to hear you're feeling so rough.

@geordiegal87 welcome! Your bloods seem good. I'm sure they're just being cautious in the EPAU.
