Just thought i’d start a thread as I know a few of us have found out we are expecting! Would love to hear everyone’s stories to start us off as I know December feels soooo far away yet!

I’ll go first, I already have one child, he is 6 years old Totally did not plan to have anymore once me and his dad split, I was one and done. However, years on met my current other half and I just knew straight away I had a change of heart. We started trying 18 months ago with negatives every month, later finding out there was infertility on both our sides. We moved in together January this year after deciding we would give IVF a try once we were settled in new GPs etc, only to find out we were pregnant! This came to an abrupt end 3 days later where we had what’s known as a chemical pregnancy. Absolutely heartbroken I had half given up, what were the chances we would fall pregnant again so soon after so long of nothing?

Well, here we are, after only 1 cycle later, pregnant again! Hopefully this time is different for us, it definetly feels different!

Hi all, new here! Found out i waspregnant in January but 3 days later we lost the baby, last week i was late so decided to do a test and it was positive and have tested everyday since. My app says Due December!
I am so nervous and anxious and excited all at the same time im praying it goes well 🙏 anyone else feel like this?

Hi all! Would also like to tentatively join! I got a vvv faint positive yesterday morning at 10DPO and it has got darker and an early clear blue says pregnant! I think according to my app I would be due mid December! 🥹

this is my first ever pregnancy so as you can imagine I’m a nervous / excited wreck! 💕

Hi everyone!! After a devastating misc in November, I got my second positive again in March 🙏🏻 praying for this baby to stay.
I'll be 5 weeks tomorrow and due date is 3rd of December.
Had some different symptoms from the first pregnancy, feeling a lot more tired and drowsy, but still waking up at night to pee. My breasts this time are not too sore.

Got a very faint positive yesterday after IVF. I have a 7yr old and 6yr old both DDs, so it will be interesting being back in the baby trenches with two who are both in primary school now!

Hi all, suppose just looking for some advice really ❤️ 5 weeks one day today, have had spotting since Sunday, got some cheap boots test to check and the faintest line, still no major bleeding and can't get to doctor until next Friday so in total limb, but now read online that apparently those boots tests are basically useless, and people have tested on those and clear blue and have always got faint lines on the boots and dark lines on other brands. Thinking I may try a digital weeks test to give some reassurance or just to let me know either way.

I got my positive this morning after 4 years, so hoping it stays! It was pretty strong for 12dpo. So fingers crossed!

Oh goodness, 3.5 years trying with one miscarriage (and two failed rounds of ivf) I’ve just had a positive test this evening. I am in shock. My due date (according to the nhs calculator) will be my 40th birthday haha. I would be so happy if this embryo is healthy and I could give my birthday to someone else! I only had my lh peak last Thursday so I’m confused how it could already be positive, but two strips and a digital say yes.

@CL05071998 I know exactly how you’re feeling - I have had some spotting too. Try not to panic. Do you know how many days past ovulation you are?

@CL05071998could you try give your EPU a call? Mine were so helpful when I had early spotting. They told me it can be totally normal and can be caused by a few things (like cervix softening or embryo burrowing deeper). They offered me an early scan too at around 6 weeks. Sadly it didn’t work out for me, but actually my pregnancy was still progressing fine while I was spotting, so it was normal. Have you tried a digital test? Maybe your dates are off and that’s why your tests aren’t strong. Wishing you good news.

took a test yesterday at 8dpo was adamant I saw a shadow so tested again this morning at 9dpo and got a bfp! Im abit worried ive had 1 high risk pregnancy and 2 mc’s and I keep reading a positive this early could be bad…anyone else get a positive this early? Due date would be 16th December 25! Congratulations to you all too!

Hi all. Can I tentatively join please. I got a very faint positive at 10DPO on Tuesday, tested again today at 12DPO and got a much darker line very quickly. Very nervous but excited. EDD 15th Dec and will be baby #4

@expat321thanks and to you too! This one is spontaneous and deeply unexpected but obviously hoped for. We were meant to put down a huge payment on further treatment today (we got a massive loan for it) so it’s kind of doubly amazing if it works out! I’m going to be very cautious but have been given a reassurance scan at my epu on May 1st so I’ll set my sights on one goal at a time :)

what’s your history? Was this first try at ivf? Must feel amazing! I had two maximum and long protocol rounds as I have v low ovarian reserve but even though we got to transfer twice we never got past that. Just so grateful to have another shot!
