Hi!

Just thought i’d start a thread as I know a few of us have found out we are expecting! Would love to hear everyone’s stories to start us off as I know December feels soooo far away yet!

I’ll go first, I already have one child, he is 6 years old Smile Totally did not plan to have anymore once me and his dad split, I was one and done. However, years on met my current other half and I just knew straight away I had a change of heart. We started trying 18 months ago with negatives every month, later finding out there was infertility on both our sides. We moved in together January this year after deciding we would give IVF a try once we were settled in new GPs etc, only to find out we were pregnant! This came to an abrupt end 3 days later where we had what’s known as a chemical pregnancy. Absolutely heartbroken I had half given up, what were the chances we would fall pregnant again so soon after so long of nothing?

Well, here we are, after only 1 cycle later, pregnant again! Hopefully this time is different for us, it definetly feels different! Grin

Hi everyone,

I’ve just found out I’m pregnant after 5 years TTC and one year of IVF. I had a 5 day transfer last Monday (17th of March) and got my first faint positive on Friday. Now we are almost at the end of the two week wait and tests have been getting darker every day. Numbers on test are days past transfer so not sure what that equals DPO wise but due date calculator is saying 3rd of December.

Have our blood test to confirm on Friday. Symptoms currently are headaches, tiredness and so much saliva (sorry TMI)

Cautiously hopeful, excited but very anxious…can’t actually say the words aloud yet!

Would love to join on this journey with you all :)

Hi everyone! Can I join the chat please (just requested the WhatsApp chat too). Took a test on Tuesday which was positive (well, couldn’t quite believe it so took 3 tests!) and another today which was darker. Very excited. Baby number 2 for us, have a boy who turns 3 next week. 3rd month of trying. So very excited, but I also so get so extremely nervous these first few months.

Have been doing easy@home tests which have been getting darker and did a clear blue one today which h came up straight away.

Hi everyone! So excited (and a little nervous) to be joining. Due 8th December with baby number 2! I had an awful journey to get to my first baby with 4 losses, countless tears and so much anxiety!! My DS is 14 months bor end of January. Test is still very faint but has got darker since yesterday, I know I will be testing obsessively for the next week or so

I’m so happy to see a thread started! We just found out we’re expecting baby #2! Due around the 10th of December. This is my second, but first is almost 8 now sooo…. I feel like it’s all brand new again 😅
achy back and a few cramps. Way too much saliva… other than that feeling okay so far.

Good evening everyone, congratulations to you all.
We just found out this morning. I am absolutely delighted but equally terrified.

I was pretty sure before I started and now I am very "aware" of my lower stomach. Very hard to describe.

How are you all keeping x

Hey lovely ladies
could I join you? I’ve joined the Nov thread but looking at dates I’m pretty sure I’ve ovulated very late in my cycle so although EDD is around 28th Nov I think it’s more likely to be Dec. I’m around the 5 week mark got a positive test (3 in total) on Tue and 2-3 weeks on a digital yesterday.
This will be a very unexpected baby number 4 and there will be a HUGE gap of almost 18 years between my eldest and this one.
Once we got over the shock little waves of excitement have started to creep in. My youngest is 7 so the baby years feel like so long ago and I don’t feel like I have a clue what I’m doing!
happy Mother’s Day to you all xx

Oh wow 18 years, there are 16 years between me and my sister (both obviously unplanned haha) and we are so close now 💖💖

I wrote this reply twice.... Grrrrrr.....

I was saying I have 2 girls, 14 and 9. My beautiful 9 year old passed when she was 7 from cancer and it took is this long for us to decide if we can do it again, but we have so much love to give. So I will technically have a 15 year age gap when this Beano arrives. I can't help but think my little girl sent us this baby as we found out mother's weekend. So happy Mother's Day to you all xx

Oh darling I’m so sorry….
babies are a blessing and I 100% agree they are sent to us for a reason. Xx

Hi Ladies, hope you are all feeling well. Woke up yesterday to some spotting when i wipe, still there this morning and a little heavier. Praying it's not bad news, these few weeks waiting for scans are the worst!

Ambs22 · 31/03/2025 11:31

Hi everyone! Hoping I can join this thread, I tested positive yesterday (on Mother’s Day!) on a cb digital at 9DPO :) Not sure if that is quite early for a digital?
This will be our first time being pregnant following a chemical in January and seeing it in writing on the digital made it feel very real/exciting!

Feeling quite nervous as myself and husband have been put at risk of redundancy at our workplace this month, I’m sure we will figure things out but it all feels a bit daunting!! I know stressing out won’t help so trying to stay calm and not keep testing, things will work out!

wheo · 31/03/2025 13:52

4 days late this was just now! I did get a vvvvvvfl about a week ago but convinced myself it was nothing. Have no children, freaking out a bit!!!
