Hi everyone, just found out I'm pregnant today at 9dpo, I wanted to make a thread for people to join who will be due in September 2025!

Hi all - just checking in!

I am 7W2D today and the nausea has kicked in in the last couple of days - didn’t get like this until 9W with DS1 so this is really fun 🤢

Hope everyone is doing well!

Very pleased to share strong heartbeat at early scan!
7wks since LMP but measuring 6wks 3ds. Not concerned as we didn't dtd until day 16 as I'm a late ovulator so sounds about right.
Of course it looks like just a blob at this stage. Looking forward to the next one where they'll look like a lovely alien 👽

That's brilliant very pleased for you !

MyGardenDaisies · 30/01/2025 21:45

hello! 7 weeks (again) today 💓 a couple more days and will be past the original dates ☺️
still same symptoms of pulling mild crampy feelings, fatigue, bleeding gums, nausea, sleepiness, the pregnancy discharge and sore nipples.

MrsH26 · 31/01/2025 07:46

I had my EPAU scan yesterday at 5+4
Thankfully just one gestational sac and yolk sac and all in the right place and right size for gestation (I’ve been so tired and SO nauseous that I’d convinced myself otherwise!) back in 2wks for development check and hopefully a heartbeat! 🤞🏻

ThatSnugSwan · 31/01/2025 08:36

@MyGardenDaisies Sorry if tmi but I have also started getting discharge, I presume is normal. Its almost like ovulation discharge. Google isn't helping much

thismotherhoodthing · 31/01/2025 08:53

I'm 9+6 today and have my second early scan this afternoon. So nervous! Glad everyone is doing ok so far, it's so hard when you have milestones you just want to get past. In my last pregnancy I think I finally started to relax a bit around 24 weeks, I'm hoping this time I can try to enjoy it a bit more

KittyFantastica · 31/01/2025 09:05

Morning, hope you're all doing well.

Is anyone else suffering with horrendous back pain? I've a sensitive lower back anyway from years of standing for 16 hours a day, but it's never been this bad.

I've no other worrying symptoms, but I'm wondering if it's the progesterone helping produce more relaxin or something and my pelvis at the back just aches and aches. It's slightly better if I lie down on my side, but I'm a back sleeper and constantly wake up on my back. The moment I move, it feels like I've been sleeping with an elephant on the small of my back.

I have my booking in appointment on Tuesday, so I'll bring it up then in case they have any advice. Just wondered if anyone else is achy?

Mae2B · 31/01/2025 12:31

Hey everyone, I've been watching this chat for a while as I'm due 30 Sep/1 Oct, but I'm only now officially joining 😁 I'm 5+2, 1st pregnancy. I think I've just had very faint nausea this morning so the fun times are probably about to start. I have holidays booked for when I'll be week 7 and 8 and I'm keeping all my fingers crossed that I'll be relatively fine over there, I really need this vacation 🤞🏻 now considering a scan beforehand to rule out ectopic but super scared to find out it is and I can't go 😞

ZoeOutdoors · 31/01/2025 12:38

Do you think all bleeding should be checked out? I'm having a little today and yesterday when I wipe, a bit more today, pinky red. I haven't referred to midwife yet but think i can ask gp for epu referral. Im 6+1. Couldn't go until Monday as they shut over the weekend and have no car and my 2 year old today. Can't stop worrying and thinking the worse.

Eliffant · 31/01/2025 12:43

@ZoeOutdoors Hi, I had a little bit of bleeding last week and I contacted my GP who referred me to EPAU for an early scan and everything was fine. I think all the NHS information online says to contact your GP or midwife if you get any bleeding. When I saw a midwife this week she said 50% of women experience bleeding in pregnancy so hopefully that reassures you a bit (but you should still contact your GP to check).

ZoeOutdoors · 31/01/2025 13:01

Oh wow didn't realise it was as high as 50%! I'll contact gp today then even if it means nothing can be done until Monday.

Melusina123 · 31/01/2025 13:04

Had my scan this morning, little blob was there, heart beating, wiggling away, slightly ahead of dates. I'm going to allow (force) myself one day of being happy before I go back to feeling anxious about everything!

Rachae · 31/01/2025 13:49

Hey Everyone,

I'm sorry I haven't caught up on this thread. @ZoeOutdoors .. hey :-) I do hope it works out. I had bleeding with Austin xx

Congratulations to all of the successful scans! I was actually on the WhatsApp group and left a while back as I was told I was going to miscarry on a scan.

I'm still probably heading that way, but there's a dispute of dating between private and hospital epu. So I've got to wait until Wednesday to compare EPU from this week to last. Thought I'd send an update! X

Oh hey Rach I did wonder if you were in here 🤗 I have a scan booked for Tuesday so fingers crossed. Lots of love to you, hope you have a good weekend to take your mind off it and get some news on Wednesday.

FMc208 · 31/01/2025 14:47

Anyone else having what looks like ewcm?! I remember lots of discharge with DD but can’t remember the consistency.

I’m 6+3 today and counting down the days until scan day next week 🤞🏼

Eliffant · 31/01/2025 14:53

Does anyone else have any visible signs yet? I can't work out if I've got a tiny bump, or if I've just put on weight because I'm so tired I'm barely leaving the house at the moment 😆It's my second baby so I know it might show earlier, but 8 weeks seems too early.

Definitely can have some bloat at this stage particularly for subsequent pregnancies.

Rachae · 31/01/2025 16:07

All my fingers crossed for you! ❤️@ZoeOutdoors xx

That's brilliant! It's so hard to relax but hopefully that's given you some reassurance.

I had mine today too and measure 9+6 all looking fine

ThatSnugSwan · 31/01/2025 17:21

Yes @FMc208 I also posted about this today. I am having some ovulation like discharge and wondered was it all normal for almost 7 weeks

Yes I have! I never had it with my first though

FMc208 · 31/01/2025 18:18

@ThatSnugSwan @BGxxx Interesting! I definitely remember lots of discharge from the first time but I can’t remember if it was ewcm - like.

@BGxxx how far along are you?

MyGardenDaisies · 31/01/2025 18:32

same For me with discharge!

Visible signs so far are bloat and acne 🤣

ThatSnugSwan · 31/01/2025 18:38

@FMc208 I dont remember it either with my other pregnancies but my last baby was 6 years ago. Sorry for tmi but what colour? I have ewcm and also saw a very pale yellow colour this week. Think ill mention it to my nurse but dont think its any infection or anything as it was very pale yellow

FMc208 · 31/01/2025 21:03

@ThatSnugSwan it switches between clear and sticky a bit like ewcm, and sometimes it’s milky/pale yellow too. I think it’s normal and not an infection or anything to worry about
