Hi everyone, just found out I'm pregnant today at 9dpo, I wanted to make a thread for people to join who will be due in September 2025!

@Eliffant yes it's common I'm 9 weeks today and have been bleeding since 6 weeks (small amounts on and off). I had a scan at 7.5 weeks and all was ok, couldn't see a cause of the bleeding. I had it in my last pregnancy too and it ended up being cervical so maybe this is too.

I panicked in my last pregnancy as I didn't realise it was normal

Melusina123 · 24/01/2025 20:43

@BGxxx @Fashionlover123 @thismotherhoodthing thanks, glad to know I'm not alone. ❤️

@Eliffant another here who had bleeding in early pregnancy before, and that was a successful pregnancy. It is very common and not necessarily a bad sign. But an anxious weekend until your scan, I'm sure! Sending positive thoughts.

@Mooey89 early scans can be out by quite a bit for a lot of reasons, if the medics aren't worried then try not to worry either!

This 5-9 week mark is so stressful, early scans are definitely a mixed blessing, symptoms are so unpleasant and hard to interpret, and so much can go wrong (but usually goes right!). I've just been lying low today, the Xonvea has helped a bit with nausea I think but it absolutely knocked me out, I was semi-conscious this morning! Waiting to see if tomorrow is better. And otherwise also feeling anxious about the progress of the pregnancy, and missing my existing kid who I've barely seen this week because I've been so unwell. Luckily my partner has stepped up 100% and has been amazing but I feel like I'm missing out on time with kid 1 and I can't stop feeling quite pessimistic about this pregnancy which makes it all a bit harder to bear.

Hi everyone,

Thought I would update that I've now had a miscarriage, a twin blighted ova which is super rare I've never even heard of this before :/

As it's now my second in 6 months I'm getting some testing for auto immune and other things.

So it's no longer a thread for me, I wish you ladies all the best and smooth sailing, and I hope to be part of another BFP thread and make it a bit further next time.

❤️

Hi everyone, I want to join in 🥰
7+4 with second baby.

I've have two scans due to various issues, some hopefully helpful information for anyone considering one. First scan was NHS around five weeks, gave a very rough estimate of weeks and was pretty much here's your blob everything looks ok. Second scan yesterday was private and so much better, went all through the parts of baby that can now been seen, estimated due date, saw a beautiful heartbeat and lots of photos to take home. Unless anyone's extremely worried I'd suggest waiting till over 7 weeks and really make the most of that first scan xx

Thank you for this.
Can u ask what company you used?

Mooey89 · 25/01/2025 07:49

momofonex · 25/01/2025 13:28

@susie1984234 sorry for your loss. I was part of the group chat and unfortunately had to leave as I miscarried this week also 😔 I feel your pain

Ncl31 · 25/01/2025 21:51

So sorry to hear of your losses ladies.
I’ve got full blown anxiety today that I’m going to miscarry again.
ive not be tired like i have been and my boobs aren’t as sore as usual. I have a scan on Tuesday which was already booked in at 6+3. I’m dreading it now

WildFinch · 25/01/2025 23:18

Hi everyone, tentatively joining this thread. I'm 5w+4 due 23 September.
My first pregnancy was a MMC diagnosed at a private 9 week scan last July. It was a shock after we saw a heartbeat at 7weeks. Grateful to be pregnant again but somewhat apprehensive. My only symptoms are sore nipples, slight headaches and being thirsty. I feel like it's not quite real at the moment. I'm enjoying reading others experiences especially those a bit further along xx

MyGardenDaisies · 26/01/2025 07:48

Morning! 7+2, it’s scan day!

woke up and been gagging and queezy. Yawning constantly 🥱😴

Strawb28 · 26/01/2025 14:05

@MyGardenDaisies best of luck in your scan today- Hope it's amazing!x

MrsH26 · 26/01/2025 14:23

@MyGardenDaisies hooe your scan goes perfectly ❤️

MyGardenDaisies · 26/01/2025 17:12

Thank you @Strawb28 @MrsH26 x
Saw 1 baby with heart beat and got measurements and new due date 💓
I initially got really anxious as it’s a few days behind due date based on last period, but only 3 days from the conception due date, and the sonographer assured us it’s in normal range.

MrsH26 · 26/01/2025 17:24

@MyGardenDaisies perfect!! They’re so tiny even a fraction of a mm error makes a huge difference.
i had some bleeding so ive got my EPAU scan Thursday, not expecting to see anything because we’re SO early! But i must have implanted very early too because we got a very early positive, so we might just see a heartbeat 🤞🏻

2025Bump · 26/01/2025 21:00

Hi ladies... joining and wishing everyone a lovely journey ahead ❤️🤗

MyGardenDaisies · 27/01/2025 10:04

Hello @2025Bump ! Thank you and same to you!!❤️

morning, everyone!
With my new dates I’m 6+4, nauseous and so sleepy and tired.
Feeling quite emotional since seeing baby 💓 and the heart flickering away 💓 ugh it’s such a blessing!

ThisOrangeCat · 27/01/2025 14:20

Congrats on the scan @MyGardenDaisies!
Had my early scan today and saw one baby with a clear heartbeat ❤️ I thought I was 7+1 but baby was measuring 7+4 which was a lovely surprise.
Feeling really relieved. Hope everyone else is doing ok.

MyGardenDaisies · 27/01/2025 14:40

Thank you, same to you @ThisOrangeCat 💓 how exciting !!!

I can’t wait to know when the 12w NHS one is, and will probably do a private one at 16 to tie us over 😄 until the 20w one.

I got my letter to confirm my 12w scan at the end of Feb. Lovely to have a date but it seems so far away!!

Eliffant · 27/01/2025 15:03

Oh already! Have you already had the booking appointment ?

jjj2024 · 27/01/2025 15:34

@Eliffant yay!! must be such a relief. congratulations!!

thismotherhoodthing · 27/01/2025 15:37

@MyGardenDaisies congrats!!

I've had my booking appointment and 12 week scan is 21st Feb, I'll be more like 13 weeks then. It feels like agesss away.

Mostly struggling with what to wear atm. Is anyone else? My jeans are all getting tight as I'm so bloated and have gained a bit of weight already with Christmas + eating way more carbs to stop the nausea.

Didn't have this issue last time as we were in a lockdown and working from home so I just wore leggings
