September 2025 babies

Hi everyone, just found out I'm pregnant today at 9dpo, I wanted to make a thread for people to join who will be due in September 2025!

Tentatively joining as very much still in shock since I got a BFP Sunday!
After 8+ years of IVF and a late term loss, we finally took DD home in 2022. I swore never again to do IVF and had settled for a happy life with our beautiful DD....well, 2025 has other plans... Spontaneous pregnancy! Can't believe it. I've booked an early scan for end of Jan. 5 wks today. Did I mention I'm still in shock? 😆

Hey everyone thought I’d share an update so doctors wouldn’t help unfortunately however whilst I was out I picked up a cheap test from Superdrug and got much stronger line and it wasn’t even my morning wee. Also I was feeling so sick whilst out so I’m like there’s no way I’m not pregnant haha

@Natalielily95 aah that's great news! I swear those easy@home tests are anxiety inducing (well they were for me anyway I can't seem to ever get a strong line on them)

@Natalielily95 that's a great line, I bought some from Amazon strip type, not even that cheep tbh and they all showed negative I did a cheep home bargains one that's positive and have now got a strong line well last week, it's so stressful isn't it, I've just been to Tesco and bought their cheepies, I have my scan tomorrow and so scared nothing will be there as I've had no symptoms really apart from boobs being sore and now that's gone I still have a positive so hopefully that's means all is going well

@Natalielily95 that line looks great! Hope you can have a breather now. To echo everyone else, it took me ages to see any progression on the cheapie tests too. So happy for you!

@alwaystired42 I am SO bloated. The timing of Christmas hasn't helped but my stomach looks like a bowling ball and I'm only 6+3 (I think!) it's making me feel so large as my waist is usually the only small part of me ! Last time I definitely had a bit of this but was WFH so I just lived in trackies and leggings . Much harder this time! Thankfully I've got a few oversized dresses I can wear for work with chunky boots. I also bought a waist extender thing on Amazon for £3 which is amazing for tight Jeans as long as you put a long jumper/top over the waist band

Has anyone had a scan yet?! I initially booked one for end of Jan when I would be 9w4d but then I started to panic today so have booked one for Tuesday when will be 7w1d

@thismotherhoodthing I have my scan booked tomorrow afternoon I will be 6+6

I've booked on for 7+2 to hopefully have some reassurance before 12 weeks as I've been so poorly people at work are guessing already!!

As I'm 6+0 today and also didn't call till 1:30 they asked me to go in tomorrow morning for an internal scan so hopefully they can just check nothing is up. Unfortunately DH can't make it with me but it will hopefully give me some reassurance as it was a bit scary last night!

I've got one booked for Weds when I'll be 7+3!

@Mals2022 yes it's looking like we are pretty much the exact same due date aren't we ! So glad I have booked the earlier scan as another 3 weeks was feeling like too long. I have paid the deposit for the one at 9 weeks too so all being well I'll have another one then. Wasn't planning on doing two but hey.

You'll have to let me know how you get on and I'll do the same

My scan is at 7+2, which seems quite a popular time here to do early scans!

boobs are getting more and more sensitive, and I’m more tired in the evenings

I have a scan at EPAU next Friday when I'll be towards the end of 6wks.

Really starting to feel the nausea today - I hate this bit. 🥲

I've had my scan today and I'm showing as 6+3 so due date of 2nd Sept now, and they could see a little heartbeat 💓 pregnancy is intrauterine and they don't know why I'm getting the pains but it's such a relief. I didn't get any pictures but I wasn't expecting to, just relieved everything is going well with my tiny little blob!

When is everyone booking private scans for? How far along will you be?

6+3 today, my first scan will be on 9+1 so there's still quite a wait until then as they won't offer me a scan before then 😅 First time that a babybee has stuck and I did not expect the anxiety to hit so strongly 🙈 This little one feels special though, we found out on the morning of my birthday 🥰 My boob's were feeling kinda sore (not typical for me) and I just had a feeling that I should test. What a surprise it was!

Currently, I'm just feeling quite tired, queasiness here and there (not yet full blown nausea), boob's are still feeling sore, and I don't find coffee very appealing anymore 🥲

So happy for you that's great to hear! Do you have any more scans planned before 12w?

Anyone else just wishing time away 🙈 Im a nervous wreck since I had an early miscarriage in August. 10 or 11 dpo today lines are progressing so well on tests but Im just wishing time away till Im past when my period is late. My own fault for testing so early I know 🙈 Im absolutely so happy but Im also equally terrified about another loss. Every twinge or feeling I get Im overthinking
