I ovulated on the 18th December and my test said 3+ weeks a few days ago aswell with evening wee, my sister was suprised as she only got 3+ weeks at 6 weeks with morning wee, she also said maybe it’s twins 🤣 hope not! I’ve booked an early scan for 26th January, have you booked yours yet?

Yeah, mine was an afternoon wee so was very surprised. Did one the next day and it said 2-3 though, so not really sure what's going on - that one was with an evening wee though. I guess we'll find out!!

Not booked the scan yet. Going to wait for my GP appointment on Monday and then get it booked in. Hope your scan goes well when it comes.

MyGardenDaisies · 08/01/2025 22:04

@fairydustt my scan is on 26th too! I can’t wait 🥰

MyGardenDaisies · 08/01/2025 22:05

Feeling very sore boobs tonight and could not stop eating today! Crampy twinges continues too, so it’s quite similar to my first pregnancy so far!

SMD32 · 08/01/2025 22:39

@MyGardenDaisies I had an emergency c section first time round and intend to opt for an elective this time!

Natalielily95 · 09/01/2025 05:45

Hi hope it’s ok I join!!So I found out I was pregnant just under a week ago now. When I first found out I used a digital clear blue and a normal one, digital telling me I’m 1-2 weeks and other saying I’m pregnant. When I first calculated it I would be 5 weeks and 2 days today however that was based off a 28 day cycle. My cycles however tend to be long more like 32-34 so then I thought i must be more 4 week and 2 days today. However I have been testing now for almost a week and my lines are so faint and not getting darker, they also take a long time to appear. I’ve been pregnant before but desperately wanting an another. So worried I’m having a chemical pregnancy

Hi, I didn't want to read and run, fingers crossed for you x

Natalielily95 · 09/01/2025 08:07

@RockPenguin thanks, unfortunately I think I know what the outcome is going to be. I’m phoning my doctors today to ask for a blood test

chicke09 · 09/01/2025 08:45

Think I will wait a little longer until I join the WhatsApp group. Feeling so anxious, just wishing the weeks away at the moment!

Friedseasalt · 09/01/2025 09:39

Hi all! Can I please join? Had my BFP yesterday, AF was 6 days late so took a test and the line appeared straight away. If my calculations are right I should be 5 weeks and 2 days with a due date of 9th September.. I have been having quite mild cramps and back pain yesterday / today but no bleeding so hopefully just everything stretching! How is everyone else? I need to do a digital, has everyone had 3 weeks +?

susie1984234 · 09/01/2025 09:45

@Natalielily95 thinking for you and hoping for the best, have you considered another brand of test? I haven't had any good results on easy@home tests and got a much clearer line on a first response

I'm with you on that! I had a MMC my last pregnancy and having to leave the WhatsApp group was sad. But I'll be well up for it once I see a wee heart beating away :)))

Me too!

Natalielily95 · 09/01/2025 09:49

@susie1984234 i have tried the one step ones too and they are also faint and then I stopped those and moved onto the easy @ home ones

susie1984234 · 09/01/2025 09:50

@Natalielily95 aah ok, I think the easy@home are known to sometimes not be the best for progression.
I'm sorry you are going through this stress, I've got my fingers crossed for you 💕

susie1984234 · 09/01/2025 09:52

It's actually wild that I used to think just getting that positive line on a pregnancy test was all it took, I'm sorry so many are having worries and anxiety. One day at a time!

MyGardenDaisies · 09/01/2025 10:14

Morning! 5 weeks tomorrow ☺️ can’t believe one more week and half way through the first trimester already! Seems like the time is going very quickly with work and a toddler.

PlanBea · 09/01/2025 10:14

@MyGardenDaisies I had a planned last time as DS was breech. I'm weighing up between planned section or VBAC. I might end up saying to book a section at 40-41 weeks and if it happens naturally before that try a VBAC. I know I definitely don't want an induction due to the slight increase in risk after a previous section.

Melusina123 · 09/01/2025 10:16

@Natalielily95 you’re not out until you’re out - sometimes tests can just be faint, especially with cheapies, and everything is fine. Fx for good news from the blood draw.

@Friedseasalt mild cramps are incredibly normal, they are usually my only symptom until the nausea hits.

@susie1984234 @chicke09 I’m with you on wishing the weeks away. I’ve had 2 MMCs both where growth stopped at 8+1 so I am not going to get excited for anything unless I get past that milestone with a positive scan - so the next 3 weeks can just get in the bin as far as I’m concerned!

PlanBea · 09/01/2025 10:16

I'm 6w+0 today and I was woken up last night with cramps so bad I felt sick. No bleeding, but think I might ring the early pregnancy unit and ask advice or see if they'll take me in for a scan. I'm interviewing until 1 so going to hold off phoning as I can't land the candidates in it. Typical it would be today!

Friedseasalt · 09/01/2025 10:20

@PlanBea Hope you are ok, hopefully they can get you in for a scan.

Has anyone booked a private scan?

jjj2024 · 09/01/2025 10:47

hey everyone! i'm tentatively joining after getting a BFP (1-2 weeks) on a CB digital this morning! I think I'm just 4 weeks so due around 17th Sept with baby #3. Can't believe it!

alwaystired42 · 09/01/2025 10:48

Morning all.

is anyone else so bloated? I can’t remember this from last time, I look visibly pregnant which I know is from hormones but I need to try and hide this at work for the time being to avoid questions I can’t answer truthfully 😂
I’m going to have to look for some smart loose fitting clothes for work… Does anyone have any recommendations of places to look that isn’t massively expensive as It’s purely to hide behind till I’m ready to spill the beans! 😂

I'm getting so excited and cautiously making little plans in my head and wishing the days away! Hope everyone else is feeling good x

As you might not wear them again consider SHEIN, I’ve had some work tops from there and they are great for the price. I always size up

You could consider having a look on Vinted - you can often get some good quality stuff pretty cheap on there. Last time I found Toast really good for concealing pregnancy as it is very structured/boxy as a style choice so it’s not obvious you’re trying to hide something. Toast is v exxy new but there are some bargains second hand. Ditto Cos.

ThatSnugSwan · 09/01/2025 12:04

Tentatively joining, Im a mom of 2, had a loss back in August.
Got a positive test yesterday at 9/10 dpo and even stronger line this morning
Having some symptoms of been very warm and sweaty (tmi sorry) and also tender boobs. AF is due Sunday so keeping everything crossed this pregnancy sticks 🤞
