Hi everyone, just found out I'm pregnant today at 9dpo, I wanted to make a thread for people to join who will be due in September 2025!

@DJE24 i had the same although on the left over the last couple of days. Hoping that it’s nothing to worry about, it’s really difficult not to over analyse every twinge isn’t it?

I’m also now waking at 4am each morning, so absolutely shattered all day. Strangest thing so far though is I’ve completely lost my sweet tooth which is vvv unusual for me!

Fashionlover123 · 05/01/2025 14:23

4+6 today, having cramps which are milder than period pains & sore boobs & headache. No sickness so far which im grateful for! Is anyone booking an early scan & how early? X

So 4+6 today, due date predicted as September 9th? 😊

I am booking an early reassurance scan, thinking for Saturday 18th. Will be 6+5 by then. I had an early one with my DD at 6+3 and was able to locate her position, heartbeat etc!

Fashionlover123 · 05/01/2025 14:39

Yes, snap!!! 🫶🏻 ahh okay great. I am going to have one but didn’t want one too early to see anything as that would worry me x baby number 1 🥰

Melusina123 · 05/01/2025 15:28

Welcome new joiners, good little group we've got going here!

I'll have weekly scans with the hospital from probably 6+5; just waiting for them to get back to me.

Nothing much to report here, no new symptoms, just fatigue, sore boobs, some twinges, etc. Trying to get out and about and eat as much nice food as possible before nausea hits and I stop enjoying anything!

Fairyfeet46 · 05/01/2025 15:33

September 1st for me, found out Christmas Eve, unplanned as was on the pill but a bout of norovirus and my body made other plans! This will be 3 under 3 for me! Never been as nervous but my last two were 10 months apart so if I handled that I think I’ll survive 😂

congratulations to all!

EmTTC2 · 05/01/2025 15:59

Hi Ladies,

Tentatively joining. Got my bfp on NYE at 9dpo. I've had 4 chemicals since June, so I'm hoping this one sticks. I'm under the recurrent miscarriage clinic, but they won't give me progesterone until I reach 6 weeks. I have a 7 year old son. I'm 14dpo today & officially missed my period. Should be due around 14th September if all goes well 🤞

@Sugarcube84 ohhh congratulations
@MyGardenDaisies mine still said 1-2 weeks on all of them but as I said I never use FMU so that's probably the issue 😂

@EmTTC2 they are great progression lines, can I ask why they won't give until 6 weeks, just seems crazy not to give it straight away

Sugarcube84 · 05/01/2025 16:35

Is anyone planning on getting the nipt bloods done privately or had them done previosly. We have a place that does them plus a scan plus gender at 10weeks. Guess I’m just a bit nervous being 50

Melusina123 · 05/01/2025 16:36

@Sugarcube84 at this stage I'm planning to have the NIPT done privately at 10wks but I'll see how I'm feeling.

Eliffant · 05/01/2025 16:46

I've been so tired this weekend! I've been napping for about 2 hours as well as getting a good night's sleep. Baby has a cold so I'm hoping I've got a touch of that and I'll have a bit more energy in a few days

Lemonolive09 · 05/01/2025 16:52

DJE24 · 05/01/2025 13:13

Hi all! I’m joining on this thread, I tested positive with a faint on Christmas Day, getting darker the few days after that! My LMP was end of November which makes my EDD 5th September and making me 5w3d today! My boobs have been super sore and I’m knackered all the time, going for a wee more often, but other than that no symptoms!

Today, I’ve started with a really low aches/somewhat stabbing pain on and off on the right hand side, I’m hoping this is just where my uterus is now growing, but it’s hard not to be worried!

I registered for my midwife referral yesterday and have also booked an early scan on 20th just for reassurance really, as 12 weeks seems so far away!

Hope everyone is doing well :)

Edited

I'm with you, I've had that pain since I got the positive, it occasionally moves to the right but mostly on the left. I was getting anxious about it earlier but it's stopped again now. Fingers crossed for us both! Also due on 5th!

Thank you 🙂 the consultant said they need to confirm the baby is in the womb on a scan first due to risk of ectopic pregnancy or pregnancy of unknown location

MyGardenDaisies · 05/01/2025 18:05

@Sugarcube84 is this your first at 50?

Im not doing any additional testing, just the 12week and anatomy scans x

PlanBea · 05/01/2025 18:21

@DJE24 I'm also 5w3d but I ovulated really early in my cycle so my LMP was in December. It's all happened really quickly for me (compared to first time round being two years!) so I'm still on a head spin haha. I have had some one sided pain (woke up last week with it and then frantically started googling "ectopic pregnancy symptoms") but it has been too on and off I think to be an actual concern. Hope yours eases off soon too!

Rachae · 05/01/2025 18:46

Congratulations to everyone and those are great progression lines @EmTTC2 !

I'm also having the NIPT at 10 weeks if I make it.. plus the usual NHS tests and the amino at hopefully 16 weeks.
I really did get unlucky in my first pregnancy as I had everything.. including a short cervix! So I'll have to have the cervix stitch early too x

Ncl31 · 05/01/2025 19:15

Hi ladies, hoping I’ll be able to join and stay here.
got a positive at 9DPO yesterday and had progression today at 10DPO.
the only thing that made me test was that I gagged so much and nearly threw up yesterday when my husband blew his nose… wth!
according to my dates I’m due 20th September, fingers crossed this is a sticky one after a miscarriage in December 2023 at 7weeks

Hoping for a sticky little bean for you! The weirdest things make you gag when expecting 😂

Weirdly last Monday I gagged at something at work which never normally bothers me and I thought it couldn’t possibly have been a sign because it was far too early. But maybe it was.

TTCJJB · 05/01/2025 21:23

Hello everyone! I'm hoping I can stick around too, I'm 4+2 and this would be my second child.

I haven't looked back through the other posts yet, is there a watsapp chat up and running yet?

MyGardenDaisies · 05/01/2025 21:43

@TTCJJB me too 4+2 with second ☺️

SMD32 · 05/01/2025 22:30

Hey, can I join you all tentatively please? 10DPO and had some progression but awaiting a call with the EPU tomorrow following some bloods. Hoping this is one that stays 🤞🏻

Itonlytakesone · 06/01/2025 03:21

I'm joining too, been trying a while but now I think it's happened I'm very nervous because last time was in summer last year and it was a blighted ovum. Iv had some symptoms took a test yesterday after a while i definitely saw a line v v faint but I'll keep testing. I'm probably 10/11dpo
