I also have my 12 week scan on the 31st! But ill be 13 weeks. Can't come soon enough, also our "double" rainbow 🤞🏼

@MyPinkFish we have the same due date at the moment. Are you excited for your scan? Mines isn't until the January 8th, a little while to wait!

Anyone else still really nauseous/sick? I’m 14 weeks on Wednesday and thought it would be settling by now but it seems to be getting worse. Everything is making me feel sick. I’m living on ice lollies and crackers. I feel drained 😞

@BroomAdventures Me too. I'm 14 weeks today and no sign of the sickness abating, struggling to eat normally and have lost a few lbs. I'm living off crackers and sweets still being sick every day. My midwife said its more likely to fade around 16 weeks so I am holding out for that. Never had this with my first, the nausea stopped at 10 weeks and was never sick

@MaSads here’s hoping another few weeks and we’ll feel normal. I never had any nausea or vomiting with my first so this has hit me like a bus.

I am 14 weeks tomorrow and although I haven’t actually been sick, I am still so nauseous and I’m exhausted too. Really struggling with the lack of energy, especially with a 2 year old!

Can mums tell me what they think of my scan, boy or girl 12 weeks

My 12 week scan is tomorrow and I'm both excited and nervous! Im overweight, so im quite nervous they wont be able to see the baby well on my scan as ive only had transvaginal scans up to this point! Any advice from other plus size mamas? Honestly can't stop worrying about this scan as I can't help but think the worst since my last miscarriage, I really hope this baby is doing okay! I did have a scan 3 weeks ago and baby was looking good measuring 9 weeks and 2 days with a lovely heartbeat, but my nerves are crazy! So glad to see so many lovely scans from you all, good luck to everyone else with their upcoming scans.

On a side note, my HG is settling a bit so I'm going back to work Thursday after 5 weeks off and I'm dreading it! Exhaustion hits hard and don't know how I'll get through the day without my nap lol.

HNY! Hope everyone is well lovely to see your scans! My 12 week scan was so good and seeing the baby doing back flips and kicking around was such a relief. Now 13 + 2 and feeling absolutely dreadful with a cold with paracetamol not touching the sides. Any old wives tales you swear by to shift this snot anyone?

@PeachyTea99 I am not skinny (size 16 currently) and they didn't even mention it to me on the day, I had to empty my bladder a bit and they did a lot of changing position but nothing was discussed about my weight. they are used to it. There was something in my notes about it though about BMI but I just chose to ignore it.

How is everyone feeling? and is anyone still waiting on their 12 week scan?
I have 6 days left to go, I'll be 13+ weeks.

Last night I leaned over then suddenly had sharp pains across my stomach, lasted about 15 minutes. It did go away. I was up during the night with similar pains and was pretty much doubled over at one point. It has went away this morning but I'm a bit worried...

@LifesABeachx Could be round ligament pain? Have a look online, things get a bit twisted/stretched around now when the uterus starts to move up. But I would call your maternity unit/epu as they may want to check you over x

@LittleOatcake honey and lemon or warm elderberry cordial is my go to, but bugs when you're pregnant are rubbish. @LifesABeachx sounds very like round ligament pain if it isn't crampy. Is this your first baby? In subsequent pregnancies I found my tummy muscle split (can't remember the real name?) happened much earlier and was sore from things like leaning sideways when sitting on a chair.
I'm in a bit of a tailspin and I've spontaneously booked a private scan tomorrow evening, despite my dating appointment being in 2 weeks. I think I've been putting my head in the sand a lot but pregnancy after a 2nd trimester loss is really hard and family party yesterday pushed me over the edge. So lovely to see lots of positive scan news though 🥰 sorry @2025Number2 I've got no idea how nub theory works but private places seem to do a gender scan from 16 weeks if you can't wait 😊 They don't tell you gender at NHS scans in my health board at all.

@CadoAvo how did your scan go?

It went well thank you 🥰 so nice to see our little babe jumping around in there. Jumped forward a few days so currently 13+5 and due date is now 5th July. Can't quite believe I'm in the 2nd trimester already. How are you getting on?

We had our 12 week scan and all was good🩷 due 11 July! Sooo excited to find out what we’re having! Any guesses? 🤭

@CadoAvo not too bad. Still nauseous but it's getting better. Just full of cold again & had a tooth infection (which apparently is common in pregnancy).
Also navigating being type 2 diabetic as I was borderline before & they've now decided I am, so that's fun...not!

Finding out the gender in 2 weeks so can't wait

@MrsS11 it's my second pregnancy! It wasn't like round ligament pain, more like sharp shooting pains. Im hoping it was because I had ate a large meal & moved sharply / suddenly. My toddler was misbehaving whilst I was trying to brush her teeth 😅

Hope your scan goes well. It's always good to have an extra peek and some reassurance. Especially if you've had a loss before. It will be lovely for you to see the baby x

Oh maybe it's the pregnancy, I've also had a tooth infection since Sunday (wisdom tooth).. I'm on antibiotics, it's still so painful and I can barely chew my food 😭 I've had so much paracetamol the past days I feel so bad. I hope you're ok!!
My 4yr old keeps forgetting and he's a very clingy boy who loves grabbing my face to give kisses..outch 🥲

I need advice, I took my pregnacare this evening and one of the tablets the blister was slightly broken which is where I thought I might have done it the other night. It was a bit squidgy but I still took it because I thought it would be fine. And I have been violently throwing up for the last hour. Like my body is desperately trying to get it out of my system.
Do you think it'll be ok?

Hey, are you feeling better? That would have really freaked me out! I accidently swallowed a buccal anti-sickness tablet and basically ran to my nearest pharmacy terrified lol.

I am feeling better this morning. I was so scared I'd poisoned myself last night 😂 but I think I'm ok now.
