@xRobin aw yay!! Do you have a gender preference? I booked one for Monday. I will be 16 weeks on Tuesday, I think our dates are a day apart?

At the 12 week screening, they test for Papp-A which is a hormone that comes from the placenta. If it comes back low, it means there's a risk of complications and the placenta might not be sufficient enough as baby grows. So you get extra screening and scans, and an additional check of the placenta at 20 weeks. (I think that's right from my memory). I need to take a low dose of Asprin daily because of it x

I did want another daughter but now I’m getting closer I think I’d be really happy either way!
We are a day apart! How exciting, have you got a preference yourself?

Oh wow, I did not know that! That’s good that they’ll be keeping extra close eye on baby! Could that mean they’d induce baby early? x

We just told our 4 year old that we have a baby sister coming, she said that she's been waiting her whole life to be a big sister! We found out the sex early, via a private NIPT (with our first, the NIPT sex determination was inconclusive!). Any older mums here? I'll be turning 43 before this little one arrives.

@xRobin Congratulatjons, lovely news. It's a boy for us 🥰. I'm a bit shocked, was totally convinced we'd have another girl! X

When is it u need to stop sleeping on ur back ? I'm currently 15 weeks and every morning when I wake up I'm lying on my back. Think I'm going to need to get a big pregnancy pillow to stop me rolling over.
