Does anyone have days where they don't feel anything?
I don't mean with the baby moving, I don't think I've felt that yet. But with aches/pains/stretching/round ligament etc?

Also my first pregnancy but feeling exactly the same as you. I’m now 19w2d and don’t feel like I have any symptoms. No movement either. So you’re not alone. My 20 week scan is on Tuesday and I’m so paranoid. The things pregnancy does to your mental health aye!

WildWhirlwind · 05/12/2024 20:45

Sending you lots of love, @fingerscrossedmumma. I'm sorry life has thrown this your way.

WildWhirlwind · 05/12/2024 20:55

Beccaa123 · 02/12/2024 11:18

Aww you feel baby move? That must be lovely 😊

Yeah and it's really reassuring because I barely have any bump, so at least I can feel them in there! My first pregnancy was a miscarriage which has tainted this pregnancy with worry. But I'm trying to be practical - all scans have gone well etc., and this one has always 'felt' different. Here for you if you ever need to fret over something small!

Is anyone else showing really obviously yet?

TheBeesKnee · 05/12/2024 20:56

I do have a bump but it's in the "is it a baby or a large lunch?" stage.

Second baby though and I started showing a LOT sooner this time around 😩

microwoods · 05/12/2024 21:15

I definitely have a bump but I think it could be disguised as weight gain, depends on how I dress really. This is a second child for me and I also started to show a lot sooner. I'm 17 weeks tomorrow and probably looking how I was around 21/22 weeks last time.

I had a sex scan today and discovered it's a boy. We already have a DD so we're delighted to have both. Although we would have been delighted either way. He was sucking his thumb 🤍

WildWhirlwind · 05/12/2024 21:38

Awwww, congratulations, @microwoods! Glad you're happy and that's so cute.

Is anyone else finding out the sex?

Same here, I just look bloated really!

Camia · 06/12/2024 06:22

16+1 with my third and I definitely have a bump! Still a small one but it's there. I just finally got my first scan of the entire pregnancy (long story) and thankfully everything looks great, and baby was wiggling and kicking all over the place during it. They had trouble checking the heart rate because baby wouldn't sit still long enough 😂 We're finding out the sex next week and I can't wait. I have 2 boys already and this is probably our last baby so last chance for a girl, but I love having boys too so I'll be thrilled either way

BrightGoose · 06/12/2024 08:19

Yes I will be finding out the sex too in a few weeks time. I’m not sure I’ll wait til my 20 week scan as I am to inpatient. I have a boy and a girl already so I really don’t mind just asking as their healthy that’s all that matters

I have recently moved to UK and wanted to ask which ones of these names would work best here in terms of pronunciation and doesn't have any funny meanings in other cultures:
Essa
Moosa
Azlan
Mustafa
Zain
Nael
I am leaning towards Azlan and wanted to see if it could work alright here.

Hi Hun I would recommend starting a fresh thread so that more people can see your question!

There's a boyband with a Zayn in it so that'll probably be the most familiar to people.

california22 · 06/12/2024 12:10

I am definitely showing and much earlier than with my first. I am 15+5 and had a scan yesterday and we found out we are having a boy. Have a DD as well so it will be nice to experience both!
I am finally over the sickness and nausea which I thought would go on forever. So other than some round ligament pain I don't feel that pregnant either! Can't wait to start feeling movements, I did at 17 weeks last time so hoping it will be soon this time too.
Can't believe we are almost half way there!

Blossomofhope · 06/12/2024 14:29

Hi ladies,
Im 16+3 weeks with my first. Had some spotting earlier in the week for the first time so the hospital did a scan and we discovered we’re having a girl. I’m so excited.

I definitely have a bump. Anyone else feeling a lot of back and upper ab pressure? I do a desk job which prob doesn’t help but didn’t expect this so early since the baby is only the size of an avocado. 😂

BoldLemur · 06/12/2024 18:04

Anyone else getting a heavy feeling in your vagina? Im 16 weeks and read that it's normal but I don't remember getting this with my first.

Camia · 06/12/2024 21:07

@BoldLemur I'm getting more than I did with my other two babies. I think maybe I'm carrying lower this time? There's a heavier/almost pressure type feeling there and in my hips and it almost feels like a much less extreme version of when my other babies dropped at the end of pregnancy.

24CRZZNKKA · 06/12/2024 22:59

I'm 15 weeks, with my third and I look about 25 weeks. Haven't been able to hide it since 13 weeks. Quite worried. But my 2nd was a massive baby, over 10lb, and she split my stomach muscles so I'm hoping it's just because of that.

I'm also still being terribly sick, miserable :-(
