@showersandflowers im the same the dreams are driving me crazy and waking me up at all hours!

fingerscrossedmumma · 25/11/2024 08:27

My dreams are SO vivid too! Obviously I'm still waiting for potentially bad news so the dreams are more nightmares, but they are SO real!

It's my amnio appointment tomorrow and I'm terrified!!

Has anyone found a pre-natal supplement that doesn't make your nausea horrendous/come back after it's gone? Pregnacare made me feel 🤢 again this time (it did the same with my other 2). Don't want to waste a load of money buying all different ones 😫

Are you taking them right after you've eaten something? As they'll make you nauseas if taken on empty stomach

I found it's actually the Iron making me feel sick - apparently gummy vitamins tend to not have iron in them so that may help

Just to add to this, I take mine right before I go to bed, so if they make me nauseous I'm not aware because I'm asleep, and also I feel like they stay in my system for longer because I'm obviously going longer without a wee? Not sure if that's a "thing" or if I'm just making stuff up to make myself feel better 🤣

microwoods · 26/11/2024 09:35

Hope everything goes well today @fingerscrossedmumma thinking of you x

Herewegoagain8 · 26/11/2024 09:40

@fingerscrossedmumma just wanted to say best wishes for today. I’ve been where you are in a previous pregnancy and know how difficult it is. Try to take it easy and rest up after your amnio. Hope all goes well and you get your results ASAP xx

rosecbrm · 26/11/2024 09:55

@fingerscrossedmumma thinking of you today lovely. Hope everything goes well.

Hope everyone is doing ok xx

TheBeesKnee · 26/11/2024 23:52

Is anyone else absolutely famished recently? I feel like I could eat a horse.

rosecbrm · 27/11/2024 07:45

@TheBeesKnee yes literally starving all the time! I was the opposite a couple of weeks ago 🤣

fingerscrossedmumma · 27/11/2024 08:03

Thanks guys for the well wishes - it was a very uncomfortable experience but I'm glad after 3 weeks we may get some answers. The OB was not positive though which was tough to hear

Blossomofhope · 27/11/2024 09:43

@fingerscrossedmumma Sorry to hear and very best of luck with the results. We are all thinking of you.

@TheBeesKnee I wish! I seem to be going the other way. 15 weeks yday and feel so sick with headaches. Off work again. Feel like I’m living off toast and oats. Anyone else similar?

WildWhirlwind · 27/11/2024 11:48

Hi everyone. I'd love to join this thread, I was on a different one but they moved to WhatsApp.

I'm not too hungry, but think I'm still wary of eating at all/too much because of the previous nausea!

Starting to show now which is reassuring and exciting!

Hope you're all well! @fingerscrossedmumma I haven't followed what's happening (not trying to ask you to revisit) but any concerns during pregnancy are just so unsettling so I'm wishing you the best.

tb4122 · 27/11/2024 18:37

15w2d today and still vomiting daily, although prochlorperazine has helped with the all day nausea. I'm expecting twins and I already look like I did at about 26 weeks with my son, I'm concerned about just how big I'm going to get Blush. Feel a bit self conscious about it as I'm sure some of it is just belly fat and now everyone is looking at it and commenting on it Grin.

Camia · 27/11/2024 19:21

@fingerscrossedmumma I hope you get some answers! Sending lots of love

@TheBeesKnee Yes! It's just started the last few days but I feel like I'm eating about 8 meals a day 😂 Trying to keep it as least reasonably healthy to compensate but I've also had some pretty intense cravings.

Dullblue1234 · 27/11/2024 19:42

Just checking in! 17+2 today, had a nap this lunchtime for the first time since 1st trimester, was lovely ☺️
Xonvea/ondansentron keeping most of the sickness and nausea away, can't wait for it to disappear completely but last pregnancy it was lingering til around 30w.

rosecbrm · 28/11/2024 20:08

Just had our private gender scan, the NIPT was correct and we're having a girl! She was very active but unfortunately facing into me so didn't get many great pictures! But was great to hear the heartbeat and know she's well.

Hope everyone else is ok 🩷🩷

Toothfairy0113 · 29/11/2024 11:44

Thanks for all the suggestions ladies, i'll give them a go ❤️

@fingerscrossedmumma thinking of you and sending lots of love x

TheBeesKnee · 29/11/2024 14:07

I've just vomited up my lunch after weeks of being ok. No idea if it's the baby or the illness. Gah.

24CRZZNKKA · 29/11/2024 18:13

I'm 14 weeks tomorrow and still being sick every day. But the 24 hr nausea has reduced thankfully! And I can now get out of bed!! Woop woop

Beccaa123 · 29/11/2024 20:00

I am 15+2 today. Had an appointment with my OB and had a scan. Baby was sitting upright with one arm in the air, but much like my 12 week scan we didn't get to see her move! I'm hoping at my next scan she'll be awake/moving

Beccaa123 · 01/12/2024 06:50

Does anyone have days where they don't feel anything?
I don't mean with the baby moving, I don't think I've felt that yet. But with aches/pains/stretching/round ligament etc?

showersandflowers · 01/12/2024 06:56

16+4 today and went for a private scan yesterday which confirmed my suspicions that we're having a girl! Still no movement that I can feel but she was going nuts on the screen.
