@julilie93 congrats on your pregnancy. I'm glad you managed to not get the dreaded sickness. I've known people in RL not get it and I'm usually always jealous but maybe this time I'll be one of the lucky ones. I've got family over on the weekend and I'm really hoping no sickness kicks in while they are here. We just aren't ready to tell anyone yet. My mom noitces subtle differences in me, she's my Mom after all so she may notice but not say anything.

Emelene · 22/11/2024 17:24

Hello ladies, please can I join? I had a positive test today (period was due). This will be baby #3, my older ones are DS 4 and DD 6. I’m thrilled (but a little daunted by practicalities)! 😁

So I’m 4 ish weeks, EDD 28th July or 1st August depending on the calculator taking into account my longer cycle.

MaSads · 22/11/2024 18:24

Had my follow up scan today at the hospital after pain and bleeding at 5 weeks, today saw a 1.7cm baby and strong heartbeat according to sonographer, the measurements put me at 8 weeks 2 days so my due date is now 2nd July! Very relieved, and nice to know I've been feeling so sick so much for a reason as I have been in disbelief for a while. Was given a little photo as a keepsake <3

Congrats to the ladies who have joined today. Hope everyone else with early scans gets good results at rescan x

Snugget · 22/11/2024 21:51

I had my early scan today and all looks well, such a relief after all symptoms disappeared earlier this week!
Little bean measured in at 19.5mm and a heartbeat of 173bpm ❤️
She dated me a few days ahead, now 8 + 3 and due 1st July.
Good luck to those still waiting for scans or waiting for a rescan.

@Snugget great news Congrats

CadoAvo · 22/11/2024 23:44

Congrats all who have had happy scan news and welcome to all the newbies 😊

I have my first scan on Tuesday when I'll be 8 weeks, it can't come soon enough. I'm currently quite anxious as I'm now in the time I lost my previous pregnancies but so far no bleeding 🤞🏼 I'm also still struggling with nausea, I've been signed off work for 2 weeks which is helping me to just rest. I'm also reallyyyy struggling with my heightened sense of smell. Everything smells strong and makes me feel unwell including fresh bedding, dinner cooking etc

I just want to be 12 weeks so I can tell people why I feel unwell or why I'm ignoring them/cancelling plans haha

lovealways97 · 23/11/2024 07:02

So lovely to hear happy scan news, and sorry to see a couple of you have had uncertain news at scans. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed it all works out for you

Minor nausea here, heightened sense of smell and big tender breasts.

We go on holiday today so I'm looking forward to a week of not having to do much at all, just swim, sleep & eat!

Pricklypickles · 23/11/2024 10:30

Congratulations all on your pregnancies.

9 weeks today I have just thrown up for the first time, after babbling on to my husband earlier about how much less nauseous I'd been feeling these past few days. Bloody Husband decided he wants to fry cooked chicken that had been sitting in the fridge for a few days, eggs and cheese and the sight and smell of the stuff was like someone pushing a sick button. Had to shut myself in the bedroom and sit with the window open. Can't believe my body had such a reaction!

Ohh noo! Hope you feel okay soon ♥️ the nausea is no joke and vomiting can feel so vulnerable 😭

Ruixue358 · 23/11/2024 14:56

We just had our early scan, measuring 6wk4 days (i thought i would be 6wk6 days) and a heartbeat of 114bpm, which she said was good. I am over the moon 🥺 pregnancy after loss is definitely a strange feeling, I’ve been so anxious and nervous, but she saw the heartbeat straight away and it all looked perfect 🩷 hoping everyone has a positive experience and i an so so sorry for those going through a hard time 🩷

Hoppityhophops · 23/11/2024 15:34

Well the sickness has hit me with a vengeance today. I feel as sick as a pig and feel like throwing up all the time.

HA22 · 23/11/2024 16:15

excited to join you as a later july/early august x

laalaaleelee · 23/11/2024 17:37

I'm 5w5d, the fatigue has struck me down today. I've really not been sleeping well, waking up needing to wee (which I never normally do), dealing with toddler that doesn't sleep through. I've spent all day on the couch / bed. Managed a nap in the afternoon but still exhausted.

Hampshiremummy2 · 23/11/2024 20:55

Welcome and congrats to the new joiners ♥️

Good luck to those with repeat scans coming up, hopefully you get some promising news shortly

Also empathizing with those struggling with fatigue ... I've been going to bed with the kids at 7pm the last few nights 🤦🤣 also sickness and nausea is hitting me heavy and I didn't have this with either of my previous pregnancies. My 5yr old tonight said 'don't worry mummy I can look after you' whilst rubbing my back! ♥️♥️

TTCIrish · 24/11/2024 07:25

How's everybody feeling?

I had to get my husband out of bed at 6:15am this morning to make me toast became I felt so nauseous.

I was in the EPU last Monday with bleeding and they found an embryo with a weak heartbeat but since then I've had no fresh bleeding at all. I've had tiny amounts of brown spotting. We have a scan tomorrow at 11am so fingers crossed things are okay.

MrsS11 · 24/11/2024 07:31

Hope everything is good news tomorrow @TTCIrish ! @Hampshiremummy2 I'm very much the same, coping through the day but in bed with the kids (I often have a bath with them too so I'm in my pjs early enough 😂)

liloa · 24/11/2024 07:43

Congratulations on all the recent BFPs and encouraging scans! 💐 Fingers crossed for all repeat scans, and sorry to hear a few others have suddenly been hit by nausea/sickness too.

I'm now 8+3 and had been feeling fairly ok so far, but spent the whole of yesterday feeling v. queasy before my vitamins set me off just before bed and I was sick several times. Still feel quite sick this morning. Hoping it's just one of the many nursery bugs we're seeing from toddler DD at the moment 🤞🏻and hoping everyone else is feeling ok today!

PeachyTea99 · 24/11/2024 09:30

Hey guys, anyone else struggling with extreme morning sickness? It's lasting all day, tried 3 different kids of antisickness medications and doc thinks it's probably hyperemisis gravidarum. Keep having to call off work and my boss is NOT happy, but I'm at a point where I'm so exhausted from the sickness and constant nausea I can barely get out of bed :( had a scan last week and baby was measuring at 6 weeks and a day with a heartbeat, but my goodness I feel terrible. Im back at work tomorrow and I'm terrified of having to tell my boss I'm too sick to work again, but really need to rest for baby :(

CatmumTTC · 24/11/2024 10:21

I had the most painful cramps last night at 6w+2. Really worked myself up thinking it was MC. But I think it might actually have been constipation. Not had any blood and still have classic symptoms today. So fingers crossed that's what it was. Tomorrow's scan can't come soon enough!

Parks17 · 24/11/2024 11:09

Moving on up! Got my 2-3 last night 🥹
Im lightly cramping a lot and im so so so tired.
I must admit im really struggling with the fact that I still have weeks to wait until a booking appointment I kind of feel like I'm just waiting and hoping for the best!
does anyone else feel like this??

@PeachyTea99 can you ask your gp for a sick note
I struggled into work in my last pregnancy and ended up in a and E after a fall from the lack of food.
This time round my line manager has told me to stay at home until I can properly manage to come back
This time round my sickness isn't as bad as long as don't try to have a drink (not entirely practical!) but I had 4 days off last week because of exhaustion and the nausea/vomiting. I'm going to the GP tomorrow for antiemetics and probably a week off work. Just sitting in a meeting where all I have to do is listen exerts me to the point of vomiting. Last time I tried cyclizine and prochlorpreazine which didn't make a huge difference. I lost the pregnancy before I could try something else

Nomnomnew · 24/11/2024 12:17

@PeachyTea99 im sorry you’re struggling so much. I had HG in my first pregnancy and the sickness is just starting to ramp up for me this time too. Definitely get signed off work for a bit, resting is so important when you’re so unwell. There are other medications available and you can ask for combinations of them until you find one that works for you. First time round for me that was ondansetron, prochlorperazine and cyclizine, but it was ondansetron that was the game changer for me. Hope everyone is feeling OK today, hugs to people who are having a tough time ✨️ after my epu scan in Tuesday I had an early scan booked for today and my husband could come with me this time. Measuring 7+3 now and a nice heartbeat 💓 I think I need to leave it for a few weeks now, just want to know when my 12 week scan will be! My symptoms this week got a bit worse with sickness but have calmed down over the weekend 🙈

Moomoo20 · 24/11/2024 13:57

Hey ladies I haven't been on a while, I'm trying to put this pregnancy to the back of my mind until my first scan (had a mc in September so I'm obviously nervous). Anyway I'm 5 weeks 3 days and the last two days the nausea has ramped up!! Any tips on how to deal with the nausea?? I'm also absolutely exhausted. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a successful, healthy pregnancy this time 🤞. Might book a scan in a few weeks time. X

sprollie11 · 24/11/2024 14:16

Hello! I think I'm due end of July, start of Aug! Last period started 21st Oct. I'm mum to a 15 month old who is still BF and a terrible sleeper - I'm exhausted today and worrying about how I'm going to cope during this pregnancy! Anyone else in a similar boat?!

Congrats to all, how exciting! Is an anxious first few weeks though isn't it
