I got the faintest of positives at 12DPO it's putting me at a due date of 3rd July. I'm 14DPO now and the tests have gotten darker but are still a bit light for my liking. I did get a positive on a clearblue digital so I am hoping for the best. I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks on mother's day this year and we have been trying ever since. Has anyone had faint lines on the cheap Internet strips before? The ones I am using are the one step tests

Snugget · 24/10/2024 12:43

I shall keep my fingers crossed for you @BroomAdventures

@sometimessunny I have used a couple of the easy@home test strips and they seem quite faint still, I am 13dpo now. I used a boots early detection test however and got quite a dark test line on that.

Yes I have the one step ones, and it was still "lightish" yesterday at 15dpo, but definitely a lot darker than when I tested at 11dpo , and so much darker on a cheap Tesco's own..I'm quite happy with it. Sorry about your previous loss, terrible timing..

Those look like great lines! Mine are nowhere near that yet. They are getting more obvious so I'm taking that as a good sign for now. The top 3 were 12 DPO, next 3 were 13DPO and bottom 2 are 14DPO. I think I will take a break tomorrow and see if there is progression on 16DPO. I'm not usually a crazy person, the things TTC does to you 🤣

Hey everyone ☺️ Very recently found out we are expecting and I'm not sure if I'm June or July as I'm a bit confused about dates! I just wondered when to book a GP appointment? Is it best to do it asap?

Julilie93 · 24/10/2024 14:49

@BluebellGarden congrats! I know it's a bit comfusing when you're possibly end of month/beginning of next.. unless you know exactly when you ovulated it's haed to know the exact due date.
For my first pregnancy, I didn't see any GP, as I read they don't normally do blood tests or anything.. I just self-referred myself to a hospital online, when I was like 5 weeks, and they sent me a letter for my booking appointment with a midwife at 9/10 weeks.

ThePodParent · 24/10/2024 19:30

@BluebellGarden I looked on my local maternity unit website and they said to self-refer (online form) between 6-8 weeks. Obvs going to be doing it at bang on 6 weeks 😅

CadoAvo · 24/10/2024 21:08

Hello, can I tentatively join please?

Had my bfp today at 10dpo. 2 quick tests this morning before I dashed out to work then came home and confirmed with a digital 🥰

First baby but third pregnancy. Had a 7 week loss in April and an 8 week loss in June so it's been quite the year. Although I've been on cloud 9 today and putting all my faith into "third time lucky' 🤞🏼

@narwhalsarereal sooooo lovely to see you here! Congratulations lovely, how are you getting on?

liloa · 25/10/2024 06:37

Congratulations everyone! 💐 Hope everyone is feeling good so far.

Anyone else getting the early morning wakings or insomnia in the night? This will be our second baby - our 15 month old has literally just started more reliably sleeping through the night this past week, and now I'm still waking at the crack of dawn 😅

Readytotryagain · 25/10/2024 08:41

Congratulations everyone. I got my positive on a digital last night at I think 14dpo. I’ve got one nearly twelve year old, and had a ectopic pregnancy this time last year. Was starting to think this would never happen. Booked in for a scan with epu on 5th November 🌷

Ru19 · 25/10/2024 13:14

Hi all, I'd love to tentatively join.. I got my bfp a couple of days ago after my 2nd IVF transfer and should be due around July 5th if all goes ok!

Mumtobe89 · 25/10/2024 17:58

Congratulations all on your bfp.
I'm 16dpo and had a positive at 9dpo.
Have an awful cold at the moment but otherwise feeling good. I have an early scan arranged at epu on 13th November so on the countdown until then.

Snugget · 25/10/2024 18:37

Congratulations to you all Flowers how are you all feeling?

Congratulations to you all Flowers how are you all feeling?

I'm only 11dpo so apart from the odd twinge I haven't felt much!

We are away on holiday for a week on Sunday so looking forward to lounging by the pool drinking mocktails haha. Although need to figure out if ill be able to use the spa...such problems I have 😂 how are you feeling?

Eili93 · 25/10/2024 19:28

Due 1st/2nd July I have no symptoms other than BAD backache and slightly tired. Very different to my other pregnancies I was always so tired I couldn’t do a thing and feeling nauseous all day every day but this time none of that which is strange for me !!

Snugget · 25/10/2024 20:03

Such problems indeed @CadoAvo relaxing by a pool sounds amazing right now! I am feeling a little tired but have been waking up rather early this week.
@Eili93 I am waiting for the nausea to kick in, I had it more with my DD than my DS but I think it came around 6 weeks so have a while yet.

I have 2DS and had sickness tiredness but this time I feel totally different hoping it’s a DD 🤣

Snugget · 25/10/2024 20:23

😂 I look forward to finding out if you are right!

CadoAvo · 25/10/2024 23:54

I'm interested to see what sickness looks like for me. First pregnancy which ended at 7 weeks I didn't feel anything. Second pregnancy which ended at 8 weeks I did get some waves of mild nausea in the last week but I don't think it had time to amp up.
My sister was throwing up every day from 7 weeks until the day she gave birth both times so I hope it's not like that for me 😂 I remember her saying she would eat a lot of coco pops as they were easy to bring back up....if that helps anyone lol

CadoAvo · 25/10/2024 23:55

Oh and has anyone done a Chinese gender predictor calendar yet? I did one earlier today that said boy! Then I did another one that said girl 😆

rivierliedje · 26/10/2024 06:07

Congratulations all. I am also cautiously joining. Got a positive pregnancy test confirmed with bloods after IVF yesterday. Which gives me a 2nd of July due date.
This is my first.
I have had some slight nausea but kept thinking I was imagining it, or it was th IVF medications.

Oh my goodness, it's so lovely to see you on here too!

I'm still in shock to be honest, I've tested everyday & watched the tests getting darker and had a dye stealer which made me happy.

Feel nauseous occasionally and disliking some smells and tastes.
Boobs keep getting sharp pains on and off, getting hot a lot and vivid dreams too.

Aww good, a dye stealer is fab!! My tests are still quite light but getting ever so slightly darker. Away tomorrow for a week so looking forward to testing again when I'm home to see how it's progressing 😁 and I totally feel you about getting hot, I've been sweating doing nothing and had to sleep with the window open 😅

narwhalsarereal · 26/10/2024 14:11

@CadoAvo that'll be good for you, a break away. I'm off work next week so looking forward to the rest!

Yeah, I'm sweating like crazy when I'm asleep so I'm changing bedding all the time haha

Hi everyone, I got my first faint positive at 8dpo and then clear positive 9dpo. My ovulation dates are right as I did a scan, so I’m pretty shocked I got such an early positive.

i’m due July and this is my first baby. But it’s not my first pregnancy, I have had early losses and ectopic before so I’m anxious about that and just hope it sticks.

11dpo today and my boobs are sore and just peeing a lot.

Due July 2025
