I've just had my BFP & my estimated due date in July 2nd.

This will be my first pregnancy

Hello lovely ladies. I am currently 5+2, we found out we were pregnant on the morning of our wedding (Nov 1st)🥹

This is our second baby. My due date will be around July 18th/19th.

My booking in appointment has been made for when I'm bang on 8 weeks. I was told it has to be made before you are 10 weeks as there are tests to be ran.

Private scanned booked for Friday 13th December where I should be bang on 9 weeks ☺️ xxx

Morning all. Got my BFP for baby #2 today. Due date 31 July.

First pregnancy I told my mum and sister almost immediately after my positive test but not ready to share so soon this time for various reasons so very grateful to have this board as an outlet.

For those on second (or subsequent) pregnancies, does anything feel different so early on? By 7dpo with my son, I had overwhelming nausea that felt like sea sickness but this time all I've had is a little bit of indigestion. It's obviously very early days so don't want to be too optimistic but already surprised by how different I feel.

I went to the gym this morning for weight training. I took it easier than I usually would but kept thinking I was feeling twinges so had a panic and left 😬 does anyone else do weight training and have kept it up so far? My last pregnancy I was too sick to do anything.

Hey I've been getting positive tests for over a week now. I got 1-2 on clear blue last week so I would say I'm roughly 5 weeks now? But my lmp was 23/9 (I'm very irregular) so I'm sure the NHS dating puts me a few weeks ahead of that 🙈
I'm not very good at keeping up with these threads but I will try! This will be baby number 5 for me 😊

My last period was the 25/09 and they have dated me as 7 weeks and 4 days today. I had a scan a few days ago which confirmed and I’ve had my booking apt xx

I don't know if I have my dates wrong, my last period was 19/09 and I am 7+5 today according to Flo app... buy I think it's because I ovulated quite late (I used an opk). Will find out next Friday at scan anyway, not long now!

I had a scan that also showed me as 5 weeks but I should be 6-2 based on ovulation - have had constant low level ache on right side of lower abdomen and the scan showed I ovulated from that side, not sure what the pain is and worried about the scan saying I was earlier than I am - but did see a heartbeat so hopefully all ok!

My son gave me his cold and it is grim! There's basically nothing I can take and I'm taking ages to fight it off. Had to take to the bed for the afternoon. Fingers crossed I turn the corner soon!

Its the worst isn't it @TrulyMiss !? Honey and lemon does genuinely help. I usually make elderberry cordial for winter colds but I haven't managed this year, you can buy it and it's quite soothing and has lots of vitamins etc to help boost your immune system a bit. Hope you feel better soon!

Thanks @MrsS11 ill give them both a go. I'd do anything to feel half normal!!

Feel your pain @TrulyMiss I've been off sick for about a week with a cold that usually think I'd be over in a few days. And I've been talking it seriously given the pregnancy but it's taking ages to feel better. I guess some of the symptoms are actually pregnancy, like fatigue. Drink lots of fluids, get lots of rest. Ginger tea with a dollop of honey in it has been my choice of medicine!

@CatmumTTC I'm currently the same with a horrific cold that won't shift and sat here drinking ginger tea with honey

Very fatigued and spending most days in bed. Supposed to have a scan at the epu tomorrow but honestly can't see me being well enough!

@Writerz34 do you kind me asking if you typically get any pain there? I usually do and on the same side, the last week it's been constant & I've had some pains below my belly button too. They have me worried 😟 that's good you got to see a heartbeat for reassurance!

Sorry to hear so many are ill with colds, I came down last weekend unwell with a cold and it's still going, normally after a couple of days I'm back to normal but this has completely knocked me for six 😔

Hi, I am 5+2 with EDD of 19th July.

This is my second pregnancy, I have a toddler who is almost 15 months. Found out quite early at 3+3 - feel like I’ve known for weeks and weeks! Time is going quite slowly. Will have an appointment at 6+4 which feels sooo long away!

The nausea has hit with a vengeance. Can’t even give my toddler their lunch without gagging. 🤢 I don’t remember it being this bad last time? Maybe I’ve forgotten?

@AmberCat5 I'm only a day ahead of you! EDD 18th! Welcome 😊. I also found out early at 9DPO which has just made the wait even longer for our first scan!

What pregnancy vitamins are people taking? I'm currently only taking Folic Acid and was waiting until my booking appt to ask the midwife but now thinking I should just get started. Can't remember if at the booking appt they take blood and check for any deficiencies?

I’m taking the pregnacare ones. Not sure if there are any better ones but I took these with my first. I’m 7+5 and had my booking apt last week. They took my bloods and said I’d get results this week but I’m sure it depends on your area xx

Ladies who are pregnant with a toddler?! How are you all surviving 🤢 my little boy is 2, and I’m 7+5. I feel like all we’ve done is lay on the sofa and watched films for days! I’m exhausted and haven’t got any energy to play at all. Doesn’t help that he starts his day at 5.30 every day 😴

@SlimGin I'm on vitawest vital essence which is their supplement for the first trimester. Also taking extra vitamin d as an oral spray. I was talking lots of fertility related supplements before so it's quite nice to only have one tablet to take!

Today is my worst day so far. I'm working from and I've been to bed 3 times already for brief lie downs. I've got a meeting with my boss at 2 then I'm going to take the afternoon off.

My daughter is 4 and we are having more TV. The Olympics was on when I was last pregnant so we watched a lot of that. We've been watching things like bake off to avoid the bingeing short TV shows. My daughter was 2 she used to enjoy the masked singer. Very colourful plus music.

Hey would anyone mind if I joined? Found out I was pregnant last week but was convinced it was chemical as the lines stayed faint. Turns out I'd a rubbish batch of one step with hardly any dye. Got a positive clearblue digital and a different brand showed up no problem. Not sure how far along I'm classed as tbh (I know when I ovulated) last period was 7th October but I had some weirdly long cycle. Didn't ovulate till CD 29 and tested positive CD40

I am pregnant with my first and I think I am due 10/07/25. I ovulated on day 26 of my cycle and I think I’m 6w4 today. According to my doctor I’m 8w1 but that was worked out using LMP and I think that is wrong since I ovulated so late. I have a dating scan on this Friday.

DH and I tried for three months with no luck and then month 4 was the lucky month for us. Every month when I got my period I would cry and was so upset. I was really happy when I found out (14dpo) but now the morning sickness has kicked in I’m feeling quite down and a bit depressed honestly. I hope it’s just the hormones. I want to feel happy and excited as this is what I have wanted for so so so long.

Hi everyone, tentatively joining at 4 + 5 - due date 23/7.
I found out last week I was pregnant with our second baby, we have a 15 month old and this was a massive surprise! We're still getting our heads around it to be honest and I'm not sure it will feel real until the scan, we've booked an early scan for 8 weeks. I've been feeling horribly gassy and very anxious and sad which is night and day with my last pregnancy. Still managing to exercise and keep up with my toddler for now but I am worried about when the sickness kicks in!

Congratulations - I also got married on November 1st! I was also (unknowingly) pregnant haha
