I've just had my BFP & my estimated due date in July 2nd.

This will be my first pregnancy

@MaSads I'm feeling a little out of sorts today, on and off nausea, terrible heart burn and bloating and spotting again. How are you feeling? Have you managed to get a better night's sleep? I'm glad you managed to get a scan for Wednesday, please keep me posted X

I've only got really sore boob's and a bloated feeling and the occasional twinge. No sickness yet although that usually kicks in around the 6 week mark for me. I'm not sleeping the best at night..I don't know whether it's the anxiety of an unexpected pregnancy or the change in hormones as I usually sleep really well. I'm disturbing poor DH. I wonder would I be allowed an 8 week scan due to my age? Ive only ever had a 12 week one before.

Hey, my symptoms sound really similar to yours. Nausea at night is awful, I’m not getting much sleep at the moment. Nausea in the day is also quite bad but same as you I find eating small meals often helps. Feeling grateful for every single one of my symptoms though :)

Hi all 👋lovely to read everyone’s posts. Jumping on this thread at 4+3. Currently have 2 DS aged 4 and 2. Have had 2 MCs in the past before my boys and have forgotten the anxiety of early pregnancy! Going to book an early reassurance scan for when I’m 6 weeks. Hope everyone manages to get some sort of sleep tonight 😅

Hi all, nice to read everyone’s updates I’m 4 weeks tomorrow, I have some on off very light cramping like very mild period pains that only last a few minutes over the last few days (maybe a few instances) , and when I wipe there’s very very pale pink, thin consistency - is this normal?

@Triangleflower when I turned 4 weeks I also had similar pains that I would have got with a period. Cramps and lower back pain and spotted for about 5 days. Mine was pale brown and yeah kinda watery. I did use a panty liner but it was mostly when wiping, and a little on the liner each time. I think if the bleeding doesn’t get heavier then it’s normal. :) and the cramps were really bad btw! Sometimes even worse than a period. I’m almost 6 weeks now xx

Thanks everyone for being so encouraging about my scan. And I’m glad I’m not the only one dealing with bloat. I’m taking pregnancy supplements and the iron in it is making me so constipated lol. I’m never constipated so this is very new for me 😂

@Plumchumm have you tried dried fruit/dates?
I am snacking on dried fruits and eat 2 x dates a day and haven't experienced any bloating yet. Although I'm only 4+2 so maybe it's yet to come!
I haven't started on pregnancy vitamins yet either - apart from folic acid - must order some!!

Thanks I haven’t had any since yesterday. Fingers cross no more/minimal.

I have been taking vitamin D and folic acid since the summer but are there any vitamins/supplements that are essential? My diet is ok but could be better!

@Triangleflower i take these gummies, they have something called ‘dha’ which is apparently good, and iron. I was pretty dizzy when I first found out and felt so faint. It was so weird. I started taking these and felt better. :)

Just wanted to jump on for some advice please! I’m 6w6d (scan confirmed on Saturday where we saw the little bean and saw a heartbeat - best day of my life 💙🩷) however I seem to get absolutely chronic trapped wind in my upper/mid back and behind my boobs?! The pain is horrid. Is this normal?! Anyone else please?!

My symptoms seemed to have disappeared apart from sore boobs but that’s possibly because my bra is too small. I’m 5WK 3 (or 4 according to my flo app) so decided to do another test and thankfully it’s still nice and dark although not a dye stealer yet. Just getting anxious because a load of the kids I teach are getting poorly and one had Covid so praying I can stay safe. So difficult to not test every day

I was meant to be 6w2d today and went for a scan due to spotting and pretty bad cramping. They managed to find a gestational sac but it was empty and they have measured me as 5w4d. They have booked me in for another scan 10 days from now and said it could go either way. That I could be too early to see anything inside or that it’s not progressed. My heads all over the place, I don’t know how I’m going to last 10 days of not knowing what’s going on. Why is early pregnancy so bloody stressful!

@Rabbitmad89 congrats that is so sweet 💞 i haven't had that kind of trapped wind related to pregnancy but i've had it before. Wind-eze gel caps really work for me.

@LifeonMarss the tests are reassuring, also looks like a dye stealer to me. but yeah my symptoms come and go all the time! my partner hears me complain 'I don't think I'm pregnant anymore' then a few days later they come back. idk it's weird

Sorry to hear about those who are having a tricky time with anxiety, sickness, uncertainty, bleeding etc. Thinking of you all. @BeccaBee3 thinking of you especially over the next 10 days. Feels like an eternity. 💐
I had horrendous sickness for a week and it's easing off now - I can actually keep real food down, which is a nice change after living on ice lollies for 5 days. Have midwife appointment on 28th Nov which seems like forever away but feel like I can't quite plan/think about anything until I've had that appointment.

@BeccaBee3 I'm so sorry you're going through that, it's just the hardest thing. I've been through it before and I'll be thinking of you. Try and mind yourself as best you can x

Has anyone else got itchy scalp? Feels like I've got spots under my hair and it's driving me demented. So gross too!

@BeccaBee3 I’m in the exact same boat, I thought I was 6w 1-2days but I was dated as 5wk 4d. The wait is awful, thinking of you 🤞🏻

Thank you everyone ❤️. I was sure my dates were right as even the Flo app agreed. Definitely need some good books downloaded to keep my mind busy this next 10 days, any suggestions would be great!

@GoldenDeer have you had a scan too? It’s the exact same as me. I thought 6w2d but dated 5w4d. It’s just horrible the worrying and waiting.

Yeah I am... it's been gradually getting a little worse each day. It's been very on and off but today I felt nauseous all day. Just trying to tell myself it's a good sign 🙏🏻

Hi Ladies! tentatively joining, found out on 11th that I'm pregnant

first ever time having sperm near me (same sex couple with donor sperm) and its happened, I feel so lucky!! We honestly thought it would take ages to get the timings right especially with only 1 chance per month for us.

I'm really really early, not due until 23rd/24th July, already planning on having 2 early scans, one before we tell my wifes older children and one before Christmas when we tell our families. I will be 11 weeks on Christmas day all being well.
