Hi guys just making a new thread as the old one is nearly full :)

This will be my second ivf baby - my first little one measured over a week ahead at her 12 week scan so her due date was changed by over a week - it made no sense to me as it was made her ‘conceived’ before she was even fertilized? My little chubby bean 😭 (ironically she is now absolutely tiny for her age) went into labour the day after her due date so it can’t have been far off ~ weirdly there were some signs she was actually overdue even though it was physically impossible- they did ask a few times if I was sure of my dates - I was like I can tell you the exact time if it helps?!

@HappyGoLucky31 have you tried a glass of prune juice, beetroot juice, or some dried apricots to help get things moving? Drink lots and lots of water too

@Joleyjojo I am so sorry. I've been there and it is absolutely horrible, there are no words.

@HappyGoLucky31 hey, sorry for the delayed response. I had the exact same and had a scan and everything seemed to be ok. They told me that it was a really small heamatoma. But also if it continued it may mean that it’s because I have a different blood type to my husband - so they’d offer me an anti D vaccine. Maybe ask at your next appointment.

but try not to panic - I had the same thing and it was ok… hopefully it continues to go well for both of us! Xx

@IMBCRound2 ah congratulations! Ours is measuring currently 2 days ahead consistently so I guess I'll find out. A week ahead is amazing though, what a difference! I did also find my booking midwife was dithering over my due date, they've actually done it based off my last period which isn't right and it annoys me every time I see the wrong EDD on my notes!

Has anyone else noticed a bump yet? I’m 13w4d following my dating scan and had what I thought was a slight bump until yesterday it’s like one just popped up! And I could not get comfortable the whole evening or night. I’m really not sure how to tell if it is bump, bloating or getting fatter!

@GlitteringCat I think I do - not really noticeable to anyone else I'm sure but my stomach feels much rounder than normal now... I've always had a lower tummy pooch, but above that from below my boobs down to my belly button seems round now too. And I can't suck it in much anymore like I normally can 😂

urg - I just had an awful experience - bit of a run in with a mum - after her kid stepped on my broken toe and pushed my toddler out the way , I wasn’t at my most tolerant and muttered FFS under my breath not my finest moment but didn’t warrant her response of screaming at me that I’m a disgrace of a mum and shouldn’t have kids repeatedly while I cried and apologised for swearing until five security guys had to rush in and escort her from the premises) - I literally can’t stop crying. 😭

i just feel so awful for my toddler who was in my arms while this woman just yelled and yelled and all I could do was cry and try not to faint.

i so desperately want a hug right now

That’s the bit I’ve noticed too like between my belly button and boobs looks round and feels a bit harder than it did. The bottom of stomach is harder to tell as I also have a pooch 😅

Honestly sounds like her response was far far more inappropriate than yours!! Everyone says ffs under their breath sometimes it happens I’d probably say worse if someone stepped on my broken toe but to scream and shout at someone in front of children too is awful behaviour! Sorry that happened to you 🙁

The toe stomp ended in an undignified squark - it just meant I had absolutely no patience left when she pushed in front of my little one who’d just queued for an hour for her turn! Fully appreciate I shouldn’t have sworn but trying to reassure myself they wouldn’t have needed five security guys if her behaviour was as in any way reasonable!

i just couldn’t believe the full blown hormonal melt down - especially in front my little one! Weirdly with my first pregnancy I was the most calm human ever - it was almost unnatural how totally chilled out I became so this was a total shock.

While tearing some stomach muscles in my last pregnancy wasn’t ideal - I do now have artificial six pack achieved with absolutely no effort other than growing a human 😂 so the small bump I do have is noticeable - it’s low down , just above the pubic bone but you can feel a weirdly obvious slope between the bloat and the bumpy bit .

I’ve got a definite bump, and have done for a couple of weeks. Noticeable to other people too… watching people notice it but then try not to mention it is amusing 🤣 this is my second pregnancy tho so I think that probably has an effect. I’m 11w2d. I’ve lost weight overall so I guess that proves it isn’t just me overdoing it on the snacks 😂

@lemonyfox this is our first baby, and is an IVF pregnancy. We had our booking in appointment on Saturday and had a similar experience with working out an EDD - when she asked me for my LMP date I told her January as I've been on Zoladex down-regging for IVF since then. That threw her a little 😂

After using that example to show her how inappropriate LMP is for most IVF pregnancies is, she was quite happy to fudge my LMP date to make my EDD match my transfer date. We're now waiting for our 12 week scan to see if the NHS try and change it again...

@LV1987 it's funny isn't it! It's not like IVF is rare so you'd think they'd be used to it. When's your 12 week scan? Mines coming up soon ish on 3rd Sept but it feels like a lifetime away.

Congrats on your first IVF pregnancy too! How was your experience of IVF, and did it take many transfers for it to work?

@Patientlywaiting7 all good here! 13+1 with plenty of round ligament that lifts me out of the chair🤣it's like something I've never felt before. I'm feeling okay mentally but anxiety still in the back of my mind. Still no symptoms here apart from the random pains! Pram and nursery furniture all ordered too. Early I know but my mother in law got them both for us as a gift and she was eager to buy them! They'll be stored with her for the foreseeable. I'm just waiting for the down syndrome screening to come back now which is a little scary but I know it'll be okay I have a feeling! We are having a 15 week gender scan but partner is eager for another scan before then..how are you? Xx

I had to send a message to someone in the group with my Facebook info and they had to add me. Think it's because it's so hidden. I'll try to find the name for you. It's very quiet in there at the moment but would be great to get more people joining and the group going as it can be such a good support and so li find it so much easier than checking on here

13+1 and this is my first so sure I won't get a bump until way later but the bottom of my belly is noticeably harder and more 'out' if that makes sense and my clothes are getting so tight I went out for some bigger ones today!

Is anyone a trimester expert here? From what I gather on the nhs website I'm in second trimester now since I'm 13+1 but also seen some people online saying it's not until 14 weeks..

Interestingly my midwife had a whole ivf page? She’s possibly my new favourite person - she’s as crunchy as I am 😂 I came out of there feeling like such a good mum which was just absolutely lovely! I just keep remembering little things she said and smiling to myself.

@Ellsx6 I never managed to figure out whether it's 13 or 14 weeks that the 2nd trimester starts! I'm 14 weeks now so definitely done and dusted with the 1st trimester thankfully.
