@Onthedouble123 fingers crossed they come in Tuesday for you.
I was checking every hour and you don't get notifications for those things, which is odd. X

Had my 12 week scan yesterday! All good, such a lively baby moving around constantly!
Anyone any good with nub theory and want to take a gender guess?! 😅

I am not 'good' with it but joined a FB group to see what they thought of mine. I'm starting to get the hang of guessing other people's on there and I'd say girl from yours! But I have only been working on this for a couple of weeks 😂

Greymalkin12 · 23/08/2024 07:38

I have lurked on this thread, having had a frankly horrible history with pregnancies, but like a couple of other ladies had a successful dating scan yesterday. I'd like to join the Facebook group but for some reason when I click on the link I can't see the group (happened last time) when I tried to join it some weeks ago. Must be my account settings but I'm not very good with these things. Would anyone have any ideas re the Facebook issue?

I also can't get the link to work. It just opens Facebook for me rather than the actual group

ChristmasJumpers · 23/08/2024 17:27

Zuzu2020 · 22/08/2024 16:04

There's a Facebook group set up..
It's a bit quiet atm as I think everyone's just waiting on scans.

You're welcome to join x

The link just opens Facebook for me rather than the group - has it got a name that I could search for?

Mrbay · 23/08/2024 18:44

Hey all!

Sorry, I'm rubbish at keeping up.

Yeah, my pregnancy pillow never left the bed from last time 😆😆 I think its a BBHug one - so lush.

Pram - I'm sticking with my Fox and Out n About. Both are lush to push one handed and really easy to turn and not too heavy. When you go to look at prams do see how easy they are to fold and left into your car.

@MOLWI very clear girl!

Scan on Sunday- starting to get a bit nervous

ChristmasJumpers · 23/08/2024 18:58

@Mrbay you sound like you know what you're talking about, what do you think of mine? It was 11+5 so a bit early for the nub!!

Due March 2025 thread 2
IMBCRound2 · 23/08/2024 20:13

my pregnancy pillow never left the bed either. Pram is sat gathering dust somewhere- think I used it twice and then got pissed off and sweaty refused to use it again. I’m convinced they are designed by men to make women reliant on them to open doors and get down steps. Tried it as a pushchair when she was two and half way through the day my daughter had the nerve to say ‘ don’t worry mummy, a man will come and help us’ when i couldn’t get it up the steps and I promptly locked the contraption away in a feminist rage.

i do have an unhealthy number of woven wraps and slings of various descriptions. They were the only two things I’ll buy new for this one (brought two new ones for my daughter that’s the extent of my new purchases other than car seats and mattresses but I am unreservedly crunchy )

Mrbay · 23/08/2024 20:22

@ChristmasJumpers- yeah just a little early for real confirmation, after 12 + 5 I think you can be a bit more certain. Annoying, I know as the nub is so clear there! Others would be able to see the bladder and then do the angles.

GlitteringCat · 23/08/2024 21:12

How do you know if a ‘nub’ is showing in pictures? I have so many pictures but not sure if any show a nub 😅

It's a private and hidden group so can't be searched. If you pm.me your email registered to FB I can send you a request like that.

12 week Scan tomorrow at what I'm thinking should be 12+3. Don't know why I'm feeling so nervous.

Aww it's an old email that I can't access. I'll keep trying the link for now

ButItHasCheese · 24/08/2024 05:45

Had my 12 week scan yesterday - baby measuring 13+4 so all seems well. Not sure you can see a nub on this one (I can't but I'm rubbish at these 😂)

I am stepping away. After positive scans at 6+1, 7+1 I went for a scan at 9+2 and baby’s heart stopped at 9. I have D&C booked for 2nd September. I’m not coping at all and knowing I am carrying my baby who isn’t alive for over another week is not helping. I still have severe all day sickness too . Good luck to everyone and wish you all a happy and healthy pregnancy xx

m00ngirl · 24/08/2024 16:00

I'm so so sorry @Joleyjojo. I hope you have all the love and support around you to help you get through this ♥️🪷

ChristmasJumpers · 24/08/2024 18:02

Oh @Joleyjojo I am so sorry to hear this, I hope you have plenty of support around you 💐

Onthedouble123 · 24/08/2024 18:43

@Joleyjojo there are no words 😢 I hope you have good support around you and are very kind and gentle with yourself. Sending you all the strength you need. Xx

Patientlywaiting7 · 24/08/2024 18:59

@Joleyjojo im so sorry. 😔 There are no words at all - be gentle on yourself. Sending you lots of ❤️

Hi ladies,

I have posted this on a subsequent thread too - that was already written about the SCH but just writing it here too as so worried.

Even though the subchoronic haematoma has gone, as confirmed at a private scan last Saturday, I’ve been having some brown spotting today. Not a lot but just disheartened it has come back.

This is TMI but I’m so so so constipated and I think this has come about due to straining. The reason I’m such an anxious mess even though it isn’t a lot is that this is how I found out I’d had a MMC with first pregnancy - pushing for the toilet which then presented vaginal bleeding.

Image enclosed, sorry for the TMI but I’m on an anxiety spiral.

desperate for the toilet but terrified to go. 😥

Could it be some old blood you dislodged? My SCH went away on scan and bleeding stopped and then a week or 2 later I got some bleeding like yours again for a day. I got told I’d likely done sometime like exercise or a bowel movement (I was really constipated) which had dislodged a bit of blood left behind.

Thanks for your reply :)

this is definitely the most likely solution but I can’t stop myself from thinking the worst. And as I say, because the same happened in the first instance I’m just panicked.

my dating scan is on Thursday but I don’t think I can wait until then x

I completely panicked when it happened too. I called EPU who weren’t particularly helpful and a bit curt which is a shame as before they’d been quite nice! I booked a private scan the following day for some reassurance. I know they’re expensive but honestly I think it’s worth the money when you’re that stressed.

Thanks so much lovely. That’s exactly what I have done. ❤️ hopefully all fine but I just know I’ll be in knots until Thursday if I don’t go xx

Hello! Joining in, if that's okay.

Pregnant with #2 but this is my first IVF pregnancy - anyone else on here the same?

I should be due 15th March, though my 12 week scan is on the 3rd Sept. I don't think they tend to change IVF dates though as it's pretty exact t!

lemonyfox · 25/08/2024 20:20

I've sent a PM to the fb group too. It's a lovely idea, I joined a similar group with my first baby in 2020 and the group was an amazing support network

Ellsx6 · 25/08/2024 21:24

@HappyGoLucky31 seems like old blood since it's brown which usually isn't anything bad but I'm sure any blood you can get a scan at epu so perhaps call tomorrow and see if they'll see you for reassurance..no blood here but after having no sex for 12 weeks because I was so scared of 'disturbing' anything, we did on Friday and yesterday I had quite a big load of mucus looking discharge come out🫠it's scared me a little but apparsntly the whole way through you lose parts of your mucus plug and it rebuilds itself..I didn't even know you had a mucus plug this early on?! Spoke to midwife she said it's normal and probably just dislodged it and if there's no blood or pain don't worry but it's still in the back of my mind that I've done something wrong and harmed the baby!
