So we’ve been TTC baby #2 for 5 months. Had a positive test in April that sadly ended in a chemical pregnancy. So this is cycle 3 since then and got a very faint positive on an internet cheapie last night at 9dpo. I went out and bout a CB digital today and have got my BFP confirmed today on it 😊
My EDD is 4th April 2025 going from LMP and cycle length.
I’m aware it’s very early days and anything can happen that’s why I’ve decided not to tell anyone I know until after my period is due which is Friday. Just can’t keep it to myself and would love for others to join and talk to who have recently found out they are expecting in April 2025!

After finding out I was pregnant yesterday me and my daughter were in a car accident today. :( we're both fine and no injuries but I'm so worried it will affect my pregnancy. Does anyone have any experience of this early on in pregnancy

You poor thing, that must have been so scary for both of you. I've no experience with something like that but I'm sure if there are no injuries you will be okay, did you get checked over by a dr?

How scary for you and your daughter. I would think if there are no injuries everything should be ok. Also, at this stage everything is in your pelvis right now so unless you had a bump to your pelvis i think everything will be ok. I hope that’s reassurance for you

Hello! After years of infertility we have had IVF and I got my BFP today. I estimate early April. I'm currently on progesterone and estrogen and will remain on these meds until at least 12 weeks.

Congrats everyone else on your BFPs

Bubblesandballoons · 27/07/2024 22:48

@Hopefulmummie hope you are doing ok. That must of been so scary. As @YellowBloom said they are so small they are quite well protected so 🤞🏻🤞🏻 everything is fine.
@IVFlife congratulations. I’m on progesterone too, as well as aspirin and pred due to recurrent miscarriage. Already getting annoyed at having to wear pantyliners at all times and it’s only been 2 days 😂

ElsaLion · 28/07/2024 21:00

Can I join please? I tested positive on Thursday (CB said 3+ weeks), so due early April with DC3 😀

Oxforddictionary12 · 29/07/2024 07:21

Found out yesterday : ) due early April with babber number 2! There will be a 5 1/2 year age gap between mine but it is what it is. I really want to tell everyone but it is very early days yet!

YellowBloom · 27/07/2024 14:48

Ohh yes really similar. How are you feeling?
AF was due yesterday for me so glad I’ve got past that little milestone.
For the past few days I have been soooo tired. To the point I’ve had an afternoon nap which isn’t like me at all. But other than that I feel great at the moment!

Yep, I’ve been the exact same, just really tired! Lying in and napping which is not like me! I’ve had tonsillitis so been hard to spot any symptoms because I’ve been feeling so rough 👎 I got a really strong line on a test yesterday (when I was officially ‘late’) so I’m feeling hopeful ☺️🤞

Lovedatforme · 29/07/2024 14:16

I'm booked in to see my consultant Thursday so hopefully have some good news then.

Howe is everyone? I've a had a headache for 3 days now along with nausea and tiredness 🙃

Hopefulmummie · 29/07/2024 15:14

I don't have any obvious symptoms.. I can't remember this early on with my 1st pregnancy so unsure what's normal or not. Anyone else had much symptoms? No real appetite the last few days

Cabbie16 · 29/07/2024 15:27

I don't have any symptoms either, other than sore boobs for a few days. I was vomiting on the day of my missed period with my first pregnancy, so I'm just waiting for the sickness to come but nothing yet..

Oxforddictionary12 · 29/07/2024 16:03

Sore boobs here but otherwise all good. A strange nesting/tidying instinct has also kicked in very early- have been wanting to tidy and de clutter everything! (If only this would happen normally!) Hope you're all doing well and the early symptoms aren't too bad.

Freckles987 · 29/07/2024 16:52

Another one for the sore boobs! And being so hot 🥵 Apart from that not much else. I remember being sooooo tired in my first pregnancy that I fell asleep at work a few times in the first trimester! So far with this one I've had an energy surge and as mentioned in the above post, like Oxforddictionary12
I have been tidying and cleaning. I'm sure that fatigue will kick in, but has anybody else had such differing symptoms between pregnancies? Hoping it's not a bad sign.....

Plumbibii · 29/07/2024 16:52

Hello everyone. I'd like to join please.

Af due tomorrow, but i have been testing positive for the last 3 days consecutively.

Had a miscarriage at 10 weeks 5 cycles ago, so i am a bit anxious this time round. It will be baby # 3 with 7 years gap.

Congratulations to everyone testing positive. Wishing us all safe and healthy pregnancies.

Mine is so different to my first pregnancy so far.. I have energy too but last time I slept constantly in early pregnancy!

StampOnTheGround · 29/07/2024 17:31

I currently have no symptoms, I think I remember that being the case till around 6 weeks, when tiredness and nausea came into play (I was luckily never sick, so fingers crossed for the same again!)

Bubblesandballoons · 29/07/2024 17:35

I’ve just got sore boobs and loss of appetite so far. I didn’t really have any symptoms with my first. Very anxious today. Booked my 6 week scan (due to recurrent miscarriage I’m in the rainbow clinic) and referred myself to the midwife for 8 week appt. Now it feels real I’m panicking I’m going to lose it again. Going to be a long 2 weeks

Plumbibii · 29/07/2024 18:05

My symptoms are intense fatigue and sore boobs.
I remember symptoms kicking in around 6 weeks in previous pregnancies.

I didn't feel this sick so early on my first pregnancy, and didn't have headaches early on. It's mad how they can be so different!

Hopefulmummie · 29/07/2024 21:15

Some advice needed.. we're due to go to a theme park tomorrow.. I know the advice of pregnant women not going on rides but does that include really early on in pregnancy ie 4/5 weeks?

Plumbibii · 29/07/2024 22:20

@Hopefulmummie This is not an advice but just sharing my experience.

We went chessington park last week and i went on few rides and this week i have found out i am expecting. So i don't think rides did anything to stop the conception process.

But i personally won't go on rides now that i have found out.

Hey, I’m cautiously joining too. Found out today (well technically yesterday now) and it’s been a bit of a shock. Currently have an 11mo and our plan was to start ttc from sept. This month we thought we were over ovulation and in the safe zone but I think I ovulated later than normal. A huge shock as I’m normally like clockwork. VVVVVFP this morning on 3 tests. Looked like an evap / shadow and wasn’t convinced until boots early test showed a much bolder line (but still faint) this eve. AF due tomorrow so cautious because it’s still so faint but would make sense if ovulation was late. Feeling super anxious as this was earlier than planned and just a big shock to me and OH. Due date 10th April I think.

Badassbreastfeeder85 · 30/07/2024 06:34

I found out on Saturday I'm pregnant, I have a 12 year old and a 14 month old and not told anyone irl,I'm still feeding my youngest and feel a bit anxious about it all tbh

CharlotteRae · 30/07/2024 08:01

Hi all, tentatively joining the group, had a positive last Thursday. Think due 3rd April. Anyone else been tracking progression with test strips?? I know I shouldn't but now I'm worrying as no progression and I have had pinky spotting the last couple of days. Period would have been due on Saturday. Any advice welcome 😢
