So we’ve been TTC baby #2 for 5 months. Had a positive test in April that sadly ended in a chemical pregnancy. So this is cycle 3 since then and got a very faint positive on an internet cheapie last night at 9dpo. I went out and bout a CB digital today and have got my BFP confirmed today on it 😊
My EDD is 4th April 2025 going from LMP and cycle length.
I’m aware it’s very early days and anything can happen that’s why I’ve decided not to tell anyone I know until after my period is due which is Friday. Just can’t keep it to myself and would love for others to join and talk to who have recently found out they are expecting in April 2025!

How is everyone feeling today? I’ve just ordered another pack of pregnancy strips 🤦🏻‍♀️ I can’t cope with the waiting for the scans. I may book an early scan too just for reassurance. Is anyone else booking an early scan?
I was thinking of waiting till 8 weeks xx

@LottieW93 I'm thinking of booking an early scan too. It's such a long wait to 12 weeks. I'm thinking 8 weeks too but a little bit of me wants to do 7 weeks.

I'm really struggling with symptoms. I seem to have everything but the nausea is the worst one with the fatigue and back pain following close behind

@LottieW93 I’ve booked for 7+6 😆 I had one at a similar time in my last preg.

@LottieW93 too hot is how I feel 🥵😂. Other than that I’m just tired, with sore boobs. I have a scan booked at 6+1 due to my miscarriage history, if I didn’t I’d have one between 7-8 weeks for sure. Not a fan of the long wait either 😂.

@LottieW93 I'm also thinking of booking a scan as 12 weeks seems so long away but I don't know if it will ease any worries. I've had missed period and slight mild cramping day to day but no other symptoms. I'm taking that as a positive?! I'm not 5 weeks yet so they may progress... x

I’m going to book an early scan in too, really want to do 6 weeks but I know I should try and hold out until 8 weeks. This early days anxiety is something else isn’t it!

I’ve also got lower back pain and round the front. I wouldn’t say it was painful more like twinges. I think I’m on edge with every pain at the moment 😂

I want to do 6 weeks as well but I'm worried if my dates are off and I'm earlier than I think then they'll be nothing to see which will worry me even more (plus a waste of money). So I think the earliest I'll do will be 7 but trying to wait it out to 8.

I'm also going to book an early scan, I think for what would be 8 weeks from my last period, but in reality would be about 7 weeks and 2 days!

Sooo tired! I ordered more cheap test strips too , I'm so anxious since the last MC. My consultant is seeing me on Thursday but I'll just be 5+2 then so I don't think there's any point scanning me, although she might anyways, she scanned me every single appointment last pregnancy. I think I had 4 scans before my 12 week one 🙈which is good for me because ✨anxiety ✨

I've booked a scan in for 8 weeks. Feels like an eternity away 😂 I was considering one before that but I remember with my last pregnancy we couldn't really see much at 5/6 weeks and I think it made me more anxious.

Forgot how exhausting pregnancy is. I just want to lie down all day but my toddler has other things in mind 😭

Hi, I’ve been reading through the thread the last couple of days. Congratulations to everyone! 😊

I’m due 8th April with my third baby. Currently 4+3. I had a molar pregnancy at the beginning of this year, so I’ll be getting reassurance scans at 7 and 10 weeks with the EPU which I’m looking forward to for some reassurance that things are hopefully ok this time.

We will be having an early scan with our ivf clinic I think they will tell us on Monday when that will be but apparently for our clinic its 8 weeks. My nhs booking appointment and 12 week scan arrived in the post today!!

It’s so exciting seeing all of the new names join this thread. Sprinkling lots of sticky dust for everyone✨. So far my symptoms are quite minimal but the tiredness has kicked in full force. Also upset tummy?! Hoping the sickness and nausea can hold off as long as possible especially while it’s so hot outside as it just makes things so much harder.

we were planning on telling family on the 20th Aug as it’s my DS first birthday. I’ll be 7 weeks so still very early days and I think we’d prefer to wait until closer to 8 weeks for a private scan. Last time I had a scan at 6+6 due to cramps on one side to rule out an ectopic and saw a fluttery little heart beat which was just magical

Glad to know I am not the only one thinking of an early scan lol! I don’t know whether to book it now or wait a week to book just incase.

I’ve been having little pains in my stomach too, every pain I think shit could this be something wrong now 😫

Congratulations everyone! I'd like to tentatively join you. I had a miscarriage at 5 weeks in March and a miscarriage at 7 weeks in May so I have everything crossed this one sticks. My daughter is only 10 months old and she was an IVF (ICSI) baby so I'm over the moon to have got pregnant but it's been an emotional rollercoaster. I was due to go back for IVF in September so I really hope that's not necessary now 🤞

I've read through all of the thread and I will definitely also be getting an early scan when I'm sure there will be something to see. I loved seeing my daughter develop and got quite the addiction to scans!

My due date is about the 10th of April if I've calculated correctly. 🥰

I had bad morning sickness between 9-20 weeks last time... that will be interesting with a baby that doesn't understand this time 😅😬

So still spotting brown... but feel like I can finally see a tiny bit of progression?? Same test done at lunchtime both days, first on Thursday 12pm and bottom one just now.... 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Anyone else keep getting "fanny daggers" and "javelin arse"?! Other early preg threads seem to suggest it's normal and common.

I’ve booked myself in for a scan at 8+3. It’s my first pregnancy so I really don’t want to wait until the end of September for my 12 week scan. But I also don’t want to book too early to avoid disappointment xx
