I have just tested positive today with a due date of 2 February. Have had a look and I can't see that anyone else has started a group for Feb yet. Is there anyone else out there who would like to join?

Anyone who’s had spotting (not including implantation bleeding!), what was it like? I had the tiniest whisper of brown spotting last night and a little bit more today. I’ve read about a million threads and it seems this can go either way. Worried but trying to remember there’s nothing I can do either way, so just holding out for now. Still, feeling quite deflated after seeing the heartbeat last week.

@retrievermum I've had brown spotting for a week now. Not enough for a pad but on my knickers and when I wipe. I spoke to EPU and they have booked me in for a scan next Monday. I will be about 7+3 then. I was super worried when it started but I spot quite a bit generally so hoping it's just me?! I've had no cramps or red blood so I'm trying to stay hopeful. My first pregnancy so no idea what's normal or not. Hoping for the best and sending you positive thoughts too.

I’ve had brown blood pretty much every day for the last two weeks, constantly paranoid something bad round the corner 😖
Very small amount and I have no pain and it’s not red is what I keep telling myself.

retrievermum · 24/06/2024 21:31

@LS888 my midwife warned me it was more common in second pregnancies but it was still a bit of a fright to see! It’s mostly only been when I’ve wiped but I’ve had a dot about the size of a pencil on my knickers this evening. Definitely so hard not to worry!

@WildFinch I’m not usually a spotter but I did have implantation bleeding with this pregnancy so maybe I am this time! I’m quite a bleeder in day to day life (I’m a dream to get blood from, and I have nose bleeds regularly!) but I’m panicking and spending every ten minutes going to the toilet to check! I didn’t have any bleeding at all when I was pregnant with DD so this is new territory for me too!

@Henski it’s awful isn’t it! Have you got any scans etc booked? I’ve got one booked for 6th July (my friend is getting married before my 12 week scan and I’m bridesmaid so feel I should probably let her know in advance of her wedding, but didn’t want to just trust the 7 week scan I had last week!) but it feels so long away. Dying to move it to this week but my husband said there’s no point as what will be will be, which is true.

LS888 · 24/06/2024 21:38

@retrievermum I also had heavy implantation bleeding for 3 days so much that I thought it was my period u til it suddenly stopped and the nausea started. Hoping the spotting will pass soon but I am still getting it. We did see a heartbeat on the scan two weeks ago but the spotting plays on your mind doesn’t it. We have family over for my daughter’s christening in a few weeks time so I just want another scan before then so I have the confidence to tell people. My NhS scan isn’t until week 14!

retrievermum · 24/06/2024 21:41

@LS888 yeah we saw a heartbeat last week but it’s not reassured me much! Oh wow that’s late for your NHS one! I’ve not spoken to the EPU to tell them about the spotting because I know they’ll just tell me it’s normal, but not sure if I should mention it just so it’s on my notes!

Henski · 24/06/2024 22:30

@retrievermum I’m 6+3 today and have private one booked for 7+5 and have my first midwife appointment 9+5, it all just feels ages away still !

CJHR18 · 24/06/2024 14:52

Unfortunately went today and they couldn't detect a heartbeat 😭

Literally feel like my world has came crashing round me from being on cloud 9 five little days ago.

I gave to go be scanned at the EPU. But from my fertility nurses reaction and hugs, I'm not holding out for good news 💔

So sorry to hear this @CJHR18 - take care of yourself ❤️

SJLOU · 25/06/2024 08:47

Hi all. Thank you for all your support.

Confirmed that some point in the last 5 days I've had a missed miscarriage.

My heart hurts so much. Baby was loved so much already. They were all I hoped and dreamed for 💔

Redapple21 · 25/06/2024 10:08

TTCagain85 · 25/06/2024 10:15

Finally feel like I can join this thread, I've been lurking for a few weeks not really wanting to get my hopes up too much!

After a late MMC at 18weeks in 2021, a chem in 2022 and a vvv early loss in 2022, I've finally conceived and saw a hb of 144bpm yesterday, dating 6wk 1day! We are beyond thrilled believing this was never going to happen for us.

To all the mum's who have loved and lost in this group, I'm am so sorry.😔 no matter how early the loss the pain is unbearable.

JayJay92 · 25/06/2024 10:29

mumofone1809 · 25/06/2024 13:41

Hey!! Can I eagerly join? :)
not too sure how far along I am as my periods were all over the shop. Would love anyone’s input??
(period 7-12th of April. ‘Mini period’ 29th-30th of April, then actually period 24th of may) following the last period, I showed no signs of ovulating all negative ovulating tests so was sure I’d skipped ovulating this cycle as my ‘mini period’ had thrown things off. However positive test 16th June and very dark lines now. Clear blue said 3+ almost a week ago (which online says means Atleast 5?) but my app now says, based on last period 4+5. So now idea?

did this test again earlier and positive showed instantly. Do we think 4+5 or maybe more?
