I have just tested positive today with a due date of 2 February. Have had a look and I can't see that anyone else has started a group for Feb yet. Is there anyone else out there who would like to join?

@Hopefully2ndtimemummy my bloating started in the last couple days too! I’m hoping it goes down soon as it literally looks like a bump and I don’t want people guessing yet😂 sore boobs seems to be my only other symptom at the minute

Yes I’m exactly the same! Already spending way too much time overthinking outfits and posture!!

@Bb542 @T0r11210 Thank you both for your replies! And you were right, the pain came back last night!!
What a time this is😂

I never thought I'd be saying, "Yay! So happy your breasts are hurting!" And yet here we are 🤣

Great to have so much chat in this group! The bloat officially started yesterday…going to have to get very creative with clothes for work. I’m roughly 6 weeks so don’t want anyone to find out yet (hopefully all will be well!)

I am SO bloated! Don't wanna wear so many clothes for comfort as well as appearance

superj21 · 24/06/2024 08:05

Does anyone have any tips for running with aching boobs 😫?! Even with my most supportive sports bra (barely used before because I'm a B and really have never needed much support!) and running vest tightly on top I'm in agony. I basically end up having to hold them while I run which is ok when there's no one around but generally not acceptable 😂

UrbanSquirrel · 24/06/2024 08:13

@Missingcoffee22 @Hopefully2ndtimemummy I carry a bit of weight around my tummy anyway, which is my friend right now (even though I was about to embark on an intense exercise regime when I found out I was pregnant). I've bought a couple of gorgeous long roomy tops from Seraphine and nobody bats an eyelid. 😂 The tops are perfect for summer. See here:

UrbanSquirrel · 24/06/2024 08:16

@superj21 Oh God you poor thing 😄 No tips alas but offering a lot of sympathy. Are there specialist maternity companies who offer sportswear designed especially for this extra support?

Completely agree!! And the heat!

superj21 · 24/06/2024 08:31

@UrbanSquirrel good thinking I'm sure there must be! I'm hoping the pain will ease off after the first trimester (although that's probably wishful thinking!) 🫠

Morning everyone, I’m 4.5 weeks and after having extremely swollen breasts and boob pain, I’ve woken up today to it all completely gone. Anyone else having/had this?

I am 7-8 weeks and my symptoms come and go daily 😂 the days I have nothing I get really worried. See how you get on in the next week or so x

T0r11210 · 24/06/2024 08:52

@Bluebell91 thank you for your reply! They came back again last night and this morning it only hurts in my right breast 😂
🤞 it’s all okay.

Thecomfortador · 24/06/2024 09:14

Just adding to the chorus of sore boobs. I said earlier in the thread I've never understood this as never had it before but this time round they're really sore so not sure what's changed. Wish my boys didn't insist on launching themselves at me, truly.

I'm due 12th February 💗 very nervous first time mum after 2 previous miscarriages but had an early scan and things look good x

JayJay92 · 24/06/2024 10:07

Hello all, how early would it be okay to have an early scan booked? I've booked one for this Saturday when I ll be 6w + 3d, but wondering if it would be too early to see anything!

Symptoms wise, it's full on with dizziness, sore boobs, slight cramps, out of breath when climbing stairs and general tiredness! Looks like I've got most of the symptoms 😅

Congratulations. I'm also very nervous due to previous losses. First scan going well is a step in the right direction, though I know anxiety can come back. Just take it step by step.

I'm also wondering if 6+2 is too early. I am thinking pushing to 6+5 at least.

Lemonbalm8 · 24/06/2024 10:15

I am very nervous this morning. I am dpo 19 and still nothing, no symptoms, since dpo 9. I've read a few bad stories and now can't shake the feeling something is wrong.

susie1984234 · 24/06/2024 10:40

Re: sore boobs I've also had days where they don't seem to be sore then it returns with a vengeance. I'm on Progesterone suppositories though so also not sure if my symptoms are just being caused by that.
I've got quite bad lower back pain but also think I might be a bit constipated - sorry for the info 😬😅
I've got my first scan on Friday but not too sure how it goes - I'm British but live in Germany so it's all a bit different here

Cheeseandcrackers123 · 24/06/2024 10:49

Only 5+1 here… time going soooo slowly.

I also have barely any symptoms. Had some insomnia and bloating last week but feel basically completely normal today. I keep trying to reassure myself that this was also the same when I was pregnant with my DS too though so maybe I should just count myself lucky.

Im trying to hold until 8 weeks for my first scan - looking at booking for 12 July.

What pregnancy supplements is everyone taking? Still using my pregnacare conception tablets at mo but wondering if should switch to their pregnancy ones with omega 3 too.

somethingabouther · 24/06/2024 11:26

@Cheeseandcrackers123 id be interested to know what supplements people are taking too! I’m just using Boots on folic acid and vit D at the minute. I’m used to take 4 x inositol a day for my PCOS normally so feels odd to only have 1 small tablet now

superj21 · 24/06/2024 11:29

@Cheeseandcrackers123 @somethingabouther I take b6, b12, d3 and folic acid. I was already taking everything other than folic before I found out but it seems like they are all good things to keep on taking! I had near full bottles so didn't think there was much point in swapping for a multivitamin type thing. I've also taken them in the past and found they made me sick so happy with my little cocktail 🙂

Thecomfortador · 24/06/2024 12:13

Bought three boxes of pregnacare from Sainsbury's - they happened to be 3 for 2 on the day I had a positive test.

CarrotySnack · 24/06/2024 13:18

@Cheeseandcrackers123 @somethingabouther I'd second what @superj21 said, but I'd add in iodine, which I only just found out is quite important (eek). I don't think you need lots, but if you happen to be vegan it's quite easy to be near-deficient - unless you have a random love of eating seaweed!

I'm having the same issue- although nausea is making running impossible currently. They do maternity sports bras but I'm not sure they offer anything other than being extra supportive.

I think in my previous pregnancy by 2nd trimester the soreness had calmed down and super tight sports bra worked great.
