I have just tested positive today with a due date of 2 February. Have had a look and I can't see that anyone else has started a group for Feb yet. Is there anyone else out there who would like to join?

Congratulations to everyone on their positives!

@mamataylor I have been testing everyday. But I might try to hold off on the tests and do every other day!

I have thought about having an early scan but the issue might be finding the time as we're going to be away on a cruise for most of weeks 7 and 8.

Felt like I was going to fall asleep at my desk today 😴

Ah I see! We’re off on holiday when I’ll be 7w+3 for a week so wanted the reassurance before we fly. Hope you have a lovely cruise 😍☀️ I’ve never been on one but have always fancied the idea!

haha I feel you! I worked in an office before my first baby and I’m sure some of the staff caught me drifting off a few times 😂

CJHR18 · 28/05/2024 19:38

@scrumdiddly123 Thank you so much! I'm so excited, but anxious at the same time.

@mamataylor I have an early scan booked in for 24th June. Seems so far away x

retrievermum · 28/05/2024 19:41

Can I tentatively join? 12DPO today and tests so far seem to be getting a little darker. Had 1-2 weeks on ClearBlue yesterday. Due 6th Feb according to my app!

Had a chemical last month so still haven’t told DH because I don’t want to get his hopes up again. Not sure when I can relax about a chemical!

Carportforme · 28/05/2024 21:34

I'd love to join you all. I'm 4.4 today, probably due around 1st Feb. I had an MMC last year so like some of you, incredibly anxious! I will also be booking an early scan this time, probably around 8 week so I can have trans abdominal if possible. I have a bit of most symptoms but not too much of one thing, well, maybe the tiredness!!

PuddleJump · 28/05/2024 22:13

@mamataylor ah lovely hope you're off somewhere sunny? We're all really excited for the cruise it's our first. Just hoping that my morning sickness isn't bad by then so I cam still enjoy all the food!
When I was pregnant with my second it was still covid times so I got to wfh and have naps at lunchtime, it was bliss!

I got my booking appointment through this afternoon, which is exciting but its the 2nd July, which seems ages away and is the day before I turn 10 weeks so they are cutting it fine.

Yes, we’re off to Rhodes! We’ve roped in the grandparents so hoping we get to relax a little 😂 it would be lovely to hear how you got on and what you thought of it.
I’m praying I don’t have morning sickness this time too, nothing worse than being taunted by all the lovely all inclusive food and not being able to eat it - I’m such a massive foodie!

How exciting, makes it all seem a little more real doesn’t it. I still need to self refer myself. Will do that this week! X

It really does but that’s only just over 3 weeks! Hopefully it flys by. How many weeks will you be for your scan? X

Hayl777 · 29/05/2024 00:03

Hi all ☺️
I had my positive on Thursday and my lines are progressing nicely so feel i can tentatively join!
Estimated due date 02/02 .
I had an ectopic pregnancy removed along with my right tube in February and a miscarriage in November so very nervous.
I have an NHS early placement scan on 11th June which puts me at 6+1 so hoping baby is snug in the right place this time!

YaWeeFurryBastard · 29/05/2024 09:15

Morning all, I’m bang on 4 weeks today ☺️. What’s everyone view on booking in with the hospital/for a private early scan? I want to but also don’t want to get ahead of myself in case anything goes wrong as it’s so early ☹️

Peanutbutterjelly123 · 29/05/2024 10:00

Hey!
tentatively joining after getting my first BFP yesterday, very early at 8dpo. Line slightly darker this morning, but still not out the woods for a chemical yet I don’t think.
very irregular periods, so last AF was start of April but I know when I ovulated, which was v v late 🤦‍♀️ think I’ll be due somewhere around the 10th Feb if it’s a sticky little bean!

This will be baby 2 for us, we have a DD who will be 2 in August x

retrievermum · 29/05/2024 18:03

Sorry to start whinging already but I am SO bloated!

@YaWeeFurryBastard I’m definitely going to book a private early scan, but waiting until after my booking appointment (which will likely be earlier than it should be as my cycles are irregular, but last time the midwife insisted we went off the first day of my last period!) in case I end up with an NHS one at 8ish weeks like I did when I was pregnant with DD. If not, I’ll definitely be booking one. No way can I wait 12 weeks as I still don’t believe there’s anything in there!

Confusedmermaid1 · 29/05/2024 21:30

Hi everyone! Tested today, 2 days late for my period and had a chemical in March (didn’t try in April) so I am cautiously optimistic. Showing 2-3 weeks on a digital. Feeling so nauseated today which could be because I’ve just come home from a very busy holiday with not much sleep as it seems early to be feeling sick? Tender boobs and bloating which is typical around my period as well.. Been TTC for baby number 1 since Jan so not sure what to expect really!

App is showing due date of 2nd Feb which would be my late FILs birthday which feels like fate 🤞🏼

Told DH but we are both a little cautious to be too excited after my chemical (though I had already started bleeding by this point before.. who knows)

Fingers crossed for everyone on the thread!

PuddleJump · 30/05/2024 06:37

Congratulations everyone with cautious positives!

@Confusedmermaid1 I don't think you're too early to be feeling sick. I had nausea on the day my period was due. I'm thinking it's a good sign that everything is going as it should.

Enjoy Rhodes @mamataylor! Grandparent holidays are definitely the way to go. This cruise will actually be our first holiday just us and the kids since we had our first so I'm a bit anxious as to how it will all go. Hoping to make use of the kids club for some adult time alone. Will definitely post an update of how it goes.

@YaWeeFurryBastard I had a look at maybe booking in a private early scan. But the place I liked best said they didn't give refunds for any reason so I thought I might see how I feel in a few weeks and maybe book more last minutel

@Confusedmermaid1 unfortunately i don't think it is too soon to feel sick. All being well, i should also be due 2nd Feb and i have been off my food for days now, not been sick yet but even the smell of somethings makes me nauseous.
Bn quite dizzy too.
Dreading the next few months 🙈

WomanMumLoverDaughterStepmumFriend · 30/05/2024 13:16

I’m joining by I very scared as I had a loss before . Tested positive yesterday on a digital period was due yesterday too

Carportforme · 30/05/2024 13:23

I am less than happy this morning ladies. After a positive test last week and good line progress on Monday I have tested this morning on FR and it's completely negative!
Having bloods done but I think chemical. Gutted is what I am right now!

LK2610 · 30/05/2024 13:23

I’m joining too. Got my bfp today. AF was late and I was wide awake at 6am which is not like me at all. So I decided to test thinking it would be negative and was so shocked. Only other symptom is sore nipples and feeling a bit sicky. Due date is 9th Feb apparently. Congrats everyone x

Carportforme · 30/05/2024 13:25

Oh and congratulations to those who have got their BFPs since I last logged in. Good luck to everyone. I will get back here if a miracle occurs x

LK2610 · 30/05/2024 13:26

I’m so sorry @Carportforme sending you virtual hugs. X

YaWeeFurryBastard · 30/05/2024 13:26

@Carportforme i have everything crossed it’s just a dodgy test!!

@LK2610 I am so excited to see you over here!!

Confusedmermaid1 · 30/05/2024 13:30

@Hayl777 I was away last week so not really thinking about my dates etc and I almost had to leave a restaurant because someone on the next table had truffle oil or something on their food and it was turning my stomach.. obviously only putting 2+2 together now 😅 I didn’t realise it could affect you so early on! But yes I sympathise.. the next few months will be difficult if the nausea only gets worse 😅

You never know but I'm not hopeful, ah well... Thank you x

Carportforme · 30/05/2024 14:14

To be honest, something I dont get is that the FRER is stark white but the clear blue I tried after it still appears to be measuring a semi decent line if not as dark as i would expect at 4.5 weeks. Then again it isnt an early test either. I had thought the Clearblue would be the one to show stark white first, since the FRER is supposedly so sensitive. Not trying to cling on for miracles but I am a bit puzzled.
