@MissMadam thanks, hope you have a nice trip too.

@Bluesea14 a lady offered me a seat in the tube at few days ago (17 week) without me having a "baby on board" badge.. I take it as a sign my bump is being very visible now ..haha

RedRobyn2021 · 25/07/2024 19:26

@zooey22 I'm going away at 26 weeks, not at all worried

MaybeBaby2024 · 29/07/2024 16:25

@Bluesea14 still waiting for mine to ‘pop’ at 18 weeks. I can feel it myself but wouldn’t be noticeable to other people yet. Although I do have a lot of extra flab on my belly normally 😳

Hi. I had my 20 week scan today ( at 19 weeks) and the babies AC measured 140.4. I can see it's past the midway point on the percentile, line but they haven't put a % next to it. Does this seem large compared to anyone else's measurements? X

At my 20 weeks scan the AC was over 160mm, and at my 24 week scan (high risk, extra scans) it's over 230mm. Baby is so big it's beyond the 100th percentile for everything and weighs about 1kg. I can't help but laugh because I don't know whether to worry or not. My medical team aren't worried so that's something.

My baby is measuring big too, 97th percentile at 23 weeks, I think, and I've got too much amniotic fluid - been sent for a couple of extra growth scans - I think that because we're under Kings in London and they do a lot of research - by my midwife doesn't seem concerned at all.

How can a baby be too big?

What are they worried about?

ChocolateLemons · 06/09/2024 22:48

How's everyone feeling? X

Copenhagener · 07/09/2024 07:51

I’m doing okay - just in week 26 now. I’ve been outdoor swimming most days which is really helping with water retention in my legs.

I have an anterior placenta, and I’m still struggling to feel baby much, which is a surprise this late. I’ve seen midwives and they’ve said all is okay though and she’s actually very active in there: must be a very thick placenta haha.

Is anyone doing any pre-natal yoga or anything similar?

Oh I didn't know this thread existed!
Hello everyone and congratulations 👏🏼🎉
I am 25 weeks along, with my first baby (little girl) after a very long journey filled with loss and sadness. She will be our triple rainbow we hope.
We are just having our last child free holiday at the moment.
Starting to struggle to sleep well at all as bump grows. God knows what I'll be like by the end!
How is everyone?

AuntieJay · 09/09/2024 10:04

Seconding swimming to help relieve symptoms.. such a relief being in the water too. V jealous of the outdoor swimming @Copenhagener

I haven't joined a prenatal yoga class yet but my friend who is now my yoga teacher gave me a 1-2-1 to show me how to practice our usual flow safely and I've downloaded the Down Dog prenatal app which I really recommend and you can usually get a deal on the cost.

@LilyJessie hope you're having a wonderful and very deserved holiday. Bet you can't wait to meet your little girl!!
I'm 28 weeks this week with a little boy and feel enormous (I do have extra amniotic fluid and apparently a 95th centile baby).. not sure how giant I'll be in 12 weeks time!!

Aardbeien · 22/09/2024 22:01

My December baby might be an October one because she's still measuring waaay ahead and they're suggesting an early C-section might be necessary. The bump is massive, carpal tunnel and breathlessness are in full swing. Only got a little while left to work thankfully but I'm still woefully under prepared for this baby to arrive.
