Going to tentatively join you. I got a positive at the weekend after AF didn’t arrive. A very unplanned, unexpected BFP which we still haven’t got our heads around 😳 would be baby number 5
we’re abroad at the moment so haven’t been able to do anything really just try and take it all in! Home tomorrow and I think I’ll buy another test just to make sure 🫢

Hi mine will be number four all being well. How do you find having four, what ages do you have? X

scrumdiddly123 · 01/06/2024 13:57

@Violet1988 I love having 4 but I have quite a big gap. 15, 12, 9 and 3. How old are yours?

8 tomorrow, 5 and 2. In January they will be 8, almost 6 and 3.

I don’t know if I need to be worried or not, but my symptoms are pretty much non existent atm. I had bad nausea when I was getting hungry and felt so exhausted, but absolutely fine today and yesterday.

How far along are you. With previous pregnancies mine vanished at 9 weeks and the pregnancies were successful. There's been a lot of people on this thread say they have had fluctuating symptoms that come and go. X

BeLemonQuoter · 01/06/2024 20:28

@Firsttimetrier, From what I read the missing symptoms doesn't confirm anything, so try not to worry. I told this to myself a few days ago too, when I was in the same shoes, but symptoms came back again by today

I had absolutely no symptoms with my first and HG with my second, completely opposite pregnancies. Both healthy girls. Honestly, don't worry about it :)

Firsttimetrier · 01/06/2024 21:12

@Violet1988 8+4. I was so sick at this point in my first pregnancy and it was consistant until 14 weeks that it’s making me anxious, but reassuring to hear you had such wildly different pregnancies @MrsLully.

Feel like I need to do a private scan to just double check it’s all okay in there! Had my 12 week appointment through today and it’s not until the 2nd July, so such a long time to wait!

Lemonyfire · 01/06/2024 21:22

Has anyone that has taken/is taking cyclogest had any spotting? I usually spot in pregnancy but have only started having a little brown spotting since starting the pessaries Wednesdays. I've decided to try them rectally in case it's irritating my cervix but just curious of others experience

Edited

My 12 week scan is also on the 2nd of July

Wednesdaysotherchild · 01/06/2024 21:36

@Lemonyfire it’s quite common I’ve heard for cyclogest to irritate the cervix. I’m on 3 a day and pop them in the tradesman’s entrance (easier, less mess, no risk of spotting).

Lemonyfire · 01/06/2024 21:43

@Wednesdaysotherchild thank you! I've tried this tonight as tbh the mess is pretty grim so happy to try another way!

MrsNT · 01/06/2024 23:44

No symptoms thing is scary . But then so is too many symptoms

reimah · 02/06/2024 07:20

@Lemonyfire yes, I had spotting but now use the rear entrance.

My symptoms have almost gone! Contemplating a private scan because my anxiety cannot take it anymore.

Ttcagainnow · 02/06/2024 09:57

Thanks all for the other day. The spotting stopped so I didn't call the EPU as I have my private scan this morning. Absolutely petrified and shaking but should be all over in a couple of hours. Deep breaths!

Marney12 · 02/06/2024 10:23

@Ttcagainnow wishing you all the best and hope the scan goes well

Sopshef · 02/06/2024 10:51

@Ttcagainnow thinking of you, I felt exactly the same before mine.

Ttcagainnow · 02/06/2024 12:39

Thanks both! Strong heartbeat. Very happy!

Sopshef · 02/06/2024 13:01

Ah congratulations! What a relief for you.

Lemonyfire · 02/06/2024 13:06

@Ttcagainnow wonderful news!!

belleissmart · 02/06/2024 13:34

I feel like I've risen from the dead after extreme morning sickness kicked in Wednesday night. I don't think I've ever vomited so much in my life, it was HELL. Doctors put me on cyclizine and this is the first day I feel human again. I've actually managed to go for a walk, have a shower and eat something. So relieved to live in a time with modern medicine!! Officially eight weeks tomorrow and hoping the tiredness calms down before I fly to Edinburgh next week to see Taylor Swift ⭐. Hope everyone is doing well - especially as it's a bit hotter

You poor thing. Is there a possibility that you might be having twins? It would explain the extreme nausea. Glad you are feeling better!

I’ve seen it irritates people quite often so I’ve decided to administer mine rectally instead. Hope you’re ok 🫶🏻

That made me 😂 same as me though x

First scan tonight at 7+4 and really hoping for some good news but I'm quite 50/50 at the moment. Spotting started on Sunday and has since turned to light bleeding. Either way, I just need to know 🤞🏼

Thinking of you xx Hope all is well x
