I've just managed to request to join by using your link from this morning @Lemonyfire but I am on desktop so not sure if that makes a difference!

Lemonyfire · 21/05/2024 16:09

@Ttcagainnow you can join via link ( if it lets you!) for some people it's not so they are PM me their name/ I do and then we become friends for me to add them. It's a secret non visible group so can't be searched for.
I totally understand your feelings, I felt like that last time. But if you change your mind do join before :)

SunflowerDream · 21/05/2024 16:11

@belleissmart I've just turned 7 weeks and it seems to be getting worse for me. My symptoms keep coming and going though and it is freaking me out a bit due to having a MC back in November. I think in reality symptoms do fluctuate and we can't read too much into what it means, because it probably means nothing! I would be pleased for the tiredness to ease off though, that doesn't seem to be happening yet😂

@SunflowerDream I am also very tired here! Have also got a cold which doesn’t help. When my 9 month old napped I literally did nothing today! Usually trying to fit in all the jobs but no chance today!

Just had my booking appointment confirmed today for the 11th June. And have also arranged a private scan for 19th June. Making it all seem very real!!

DaringlyDizzy · 21/05/2024 18:13

@SunflowerDream SUPER tired here too! Its better today but the last few days I am shattered and want to sleep by 9pm (over tired by then and cant sleep until the wee hours)

@MooMaeMoo Hello! Welcome, we are due date twins ahah

I am SO happy right now. EPU called, levels are 880. Had some more bleeding but feel reassured. Checking on Thursday to see if levels have doubled.

belleissmart · 21/05/2024 18:17

@SunflowerDream It's so hard, trying not to overthink it (obviously am but TRYING not too...)

belleissmart · 21/05/2024 18:21

Just had my booking appointment through for this Sunday! NHS due date calculator has me giving birth on Jan 18 so this feels very early but guess I'm not complaining. Am obviously convinced they'll laugh in my face and tell me I'm not pregnant, as it was all a dream.

@DaringlyDizzy I am so happy to hear that!!! Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Lemonyfire · 21/05/2024 18:23

@DaringlyDizzy so glad to hear this!!

MrsNT · 21/05/2024 19:15

Anyone else feeling light headed or slightly dizzy? I'm only 4 weeks 2 days but isn't it to early for that??

Hi all, new here!

I am also due 18 January after two miscarriages.

I went for a follow up to check for a fibroid last week and found out I was pregnant!!

Good thing was that the doctor prescribed my progesterone pessary straight away!

Pessary ain't great but I'm so so so grateful not to be bleeding this time round.

Count down to 12 weeks is on 🙏🙏🙏

belleissmart · 21/05/2024 19:49

@mrmr809 hello due date twin! Keeping my fingers crossed for you x

MooMaeMoo · 21/05/2024 13:12

Tentatively joining - due 25th Jan with our second child if it sticks. Had a Facebook group with my first that started on a thread like this one so I'm hunting around for due date buddies once again! If anyone has any tips on surviving the first trimester with a toddler I'd be very grateful - I barely survived the first time around with nothing but free time to lay face down in bed for months.

Welcome and congratulations! I’m in the same boat, spent my first pregnancy pretty much horizontal and asleep, now this one is with a nearly 2 year old in tow and much different!

I also WFH my first pregnancy, so I was able to nap on my lunches and now in the office at least 3 days a week but trying to do less with the excuse of nursery pick ups/illnesses etc as I don’t want to mention to work yet as I’m only 7 weeks! 😬

The only positive to this is that the weeks are flying by! I have my booking in appointment on the 10th June and I’m sure that will fly by!

MrsNT · 21/05/2024 20:13

@MooMaeMoo we have similar dates and I also have an almost 2yr old! I wasn't this exhausted first time around at this stage!

Yes very!! I’m only 5ish weeks so similar. I’ve been super lightheaded, especially after eating, really weird.

SadWench · 21/05/2024 21:53

Can I join? Just got my BFP 12dpo (I think!)

anteklego · 21/05/2024 21:59

@Lemonyfire @Violet1988 Thanks for telling me about the family nurse thing hopefully that will help it's still a bit of a shock so don't know what I really need but any help is good I guess

@SunflowerDream Thanks, it's kinda nice to know I'm not the only one who was unplanned but that sounds really mean I guess. It's tough as well since I have GCSEs on atm so it's already super stressful now I have being pregnant too but hopefully it will be mostly ok. How are things going for you and coping with the shock and planning for it?

@DaringlyDizzy @Ramonav88 Thanks, yeah I think I do want to be a mum and it's stressful but there will be lots of good things hopefully and like I do feel like a connection to my baby I think and feel like I should try and be a good mum to it and like obviously I don't want to stay at home forever but I can for a bit and my mum says she will help which is good I guess

Lemonyfire · 21/05/2024 22:19

@SadWench welcome and congratulations!

skr97 · 22/05/2024 06:15

due date twin! also 4+2

I feel like time is going to go so slow!!!

MsSandyToes · 22/05/2024 09:25

Hi everyone and congratulations to you all!

I found out 2 days ago and the apps say due date 24th of January but I ovulated late on day 20 (so not sure) because I'm breastfeeding my cycle has been all over the place. I had an early miscarriage in March and my daughter will be 8 months old on Friday. She's an IVF baby so I'm over the moon to be pregnant naturally. Fingers crossed it sticks this time.

gardenlady1 · 22/05/2024 09:55

Hi everyone.

I had a CP in March at 5 weeks and we TTC in April, but I had no 'peak' ovulation - however was so happy to find out I had conceived when period didn't show up.

Already v different to March, strong positive tests. I don't have many symptoms, just fluctuating boob pain, I had some cramping week 4&5 but that's eased off, I'm v tired. I now have a UTI which could do without. I'm very on edge about something going wrong.

My due date is 12th Jan according to Natural Cycles but not sure how right it is as not sure when ovulated.

I have a reassurance scan on June 4th (about 8 weeks) then first EPU appointment on June 11th (9 weeks).

Have joined the Facebook group. Fingers crossed for everyone. Xx

skr97 · 22/05/2024 09:55

@Optimistic66 so nice to have someone at exactly the same stage 😄 I agree time will go slowly, quite glad for it though as feel like there is a lot to prepare! I am going to go for an early scan at around 7 weeks too mainly to check placement so I’m looking forward to that 😌

Newhere1993 · 22/05/2024 09:58

MrsNT · 21/05/2024 19:15

Anyone else feeling light headed or slightly dizzy? I'm only 4 weeks 2 days but isn't it to early for that??

@MrsNT yes definitely that was actually the reason along with a late period to test as I had no other symptoms

Sarah268 · 22/05/2024 11:50

Congrats to all the new people.

5 weeks today. Time is absolutely dragging. I just want to get past 7 weeks as that's when my MC was.

My boobs are growing SO much! I really need to buy new bras but I'm worried I'll buy new ones then grow out of them too😂

Anyone here into running/exercise? I've absolutely fallen off a cliff in terms of what I can do. My heart rate shoots up so high and I feel like I'm moving through treacle. Can't believe this is impacting me so much so early. But weirdly feel fine when not exercising...
