7 weeks today and have my booking appointment this afternoon - has anyone else had theirs this early? I didn't question her when she booked the appointment for today... but now worried it's a mistake that I should have queried.

I know there's been lots of chat re symptoms, mine have pretty much disappeared today but this did happen to me last week and they came back with a vengeance. I am still really nervous about it though and I have been getting quite a bit of cramping. I started spotting at 8 weeks last time, and then baby measured 9+2 when it had stopped growing. Getting closer to these milestones is freaking me out😞

Ramonav88 · 20/05/2024 11:42

anyone else only just found out? I got 1-2 weeks on clear blue yesterday so I’m verrrry early

also anyone else have wild kids who are always jumping on them and a bit worried about that? My son loves to play fight and actually punched me in the stomach the other day (not maliciously just over excited and playing). Im going to tell him my tummy is ill so he can’t jump on me but bit worried anyway. Also when do you all tell your older kids?

LS888 · 20/05/2024 11:44

@DaringlyDizzy hope you are ok. Sometimes people do bleed/spot in the early weeks and everything is ok. Fingers crossed this is the case for you.

LS888 · 20/05/2024 11:46

@Ramonav88 I had my positive test on Friday and it was 1-2 weeks so very early for me. Think my due date depending on if I put my ovulation date or last period varies from 22nd Jan- 27th Jan.

Nice, I’ll probably be around the same. How are you feeling so far?

LS888 · 20/05/2024 11:49

@SunflowerDream hope you are ok. Pregnancy after a MC is so hard. I had a mmc at 9 weeks and then went on to have a successful pregnancy a few months later. But the dates and milestones do get you- think I was a bit obsessive over them last time.

I haven’t called to arrange my booking in appointment yet. But think they are normally around 8 weeks around here.

I’m feeling nauseous which is exactly like last time 🤢haven’t been sick though. Last time this feeling lasted for most of my pregnancy 🙈

how are you feeling?

Ramonav88 · 20/05/2024 11:58

I’m not too bad yet! A few mild symptoms - especially dizziness which I didn’t have with my son. Was nauseous with my first in first trimester but so far not too bad. Also tiredness kicking in already I fell asleep at 9 last night 😂 how old is your other one?

DaringlyDizzy · 20/05/2024 10:56

Feeling very upset atm. Woke with cramps and bleeding EPU never bleeding answer - I have gone a little mad and called over 30 times.
I won't be able to cope if its another MC. Not 8 weeks after the last one

I really hope it isn't and things work out positively, epu not answering won't be helping I'm sure but I hope they do and can reassure you

belleissmart · 20/05/2024 12:04

@Ramonav88 @LS888 I only found out on Thursday and test said 1-2 weeks so similar vibe! Feel okay, bit tired, slightly nauseous and v sweaty. First pregnancy so am all over the place

Congratulations! Well my first (and only) was 5 years ago so it feels new again haha. I can’t quite believe I’m doing it all again!

SunflowerDream · 20/05/2024 12:37

@LS888 I'm okay, thank you for asking - it is really reassuring to hear your story. I am definitely obsessing over milestones, when really, I know if it's not meant to be then it's not meant to be and milestones have no bearing on that.

My booking appointment was 8 weeks last time, but this time it's exactly 7 weeks. I wonder if it's just the only time they could fit me in? I just feel like either they have made a mistake, or I have haha, she called me so I don't have a confirmation text or email... it could be my silly brain😂

Firsttimetrier · 20/05/2024 12:49

Hope they answer soon @DaringlyDizzy and hoping it’s nothing! I do know a couple of mums from when I was pregnant with my son who had bleeding throughout early pregnancy and now have nearly 2 year olds, so hoping it’s the same positive outcome for you 🤞🏽

I’m 7 weeks tomorrow and the nausea is definitely stepping up a notch, especially if I’m hungry then I feel really sick.

@Ramonav88 I have a 21 month old and he also loves rough and tumbling and climbing all over me. We won’t be telling him until I at least start showing and then we’ll start reading books about siblings etc as it’s still early days/he won’t fully grasp what’s happening.

Havasham · 20/05/2024 13:59

Thinking of you @DaringlyDizzy, hope you have managed to get in touch with EPU xx

Ah since mine is nearly 5 he’ll be really excited, he’s been asking for a sibling, but don’t want to tell him too early - maybe after first scan or even bring him to it if he’s allowed

Bibby42 · 20/05/2024 14:17

Hi Ladies, I’m just after a bit of reassurance. I tested positive on 11dpo on cheapy, was very faint. Then got pregnant on clear blue ultra early digital on same day. It’s 4 days later and I got a massive bbt drop down to cover line, I tested this morning and got pregnant 1-2 weeks on CB digital and a positive on Superdrug’s own. I just can’t shake the anxious negative feeling now because of the massive temp drop this morning!

LS888 · 20/05/2024 16:19

@Bibby42 try and stay positive 🤞🏻 hopefully it’s nothing. I looked too much into all the data last time like raised heart rate and temp and had to stop as it was stressing me out and making me worry too much. Hopefully it’s nothing xx

LS888 · 20/05/2024 16:21

@Ramonav88 my little girl is 9 and a half months old and she is my only one. she has not got a clue what is happening!

LS888 · 20/05/2024 16:45

Congratulations @belleissmart

Thank you ☺️, I’m glad I’m not the only one! I’ve done another test this afternoon and it appears to be lighter than the others so time will tell! Xx

DaringlyDizzy · 20/05/2024 17:00

Hi everyone.
Thank you for well wishes

I am already under the EPU due to multiple losses.
My reassurance scan is 7th June
I was calling today to get checked due to the bleeding - which has now stopped but the cramps are still there.
EPU refused to bring appointment back and said they dont see before 7 weeks which is a not true as I was under them (a GREAT team) in March/April for my ectopic and my first appt was when i was 5 weeks. Anyway I spoke to midwife team who did an internal call and EPU have now said they will see me tomorrow for bloods.

In other news my reoccurent miscarriage clinic appointment was pushed from May to October to November and today I had a letter saying it had been pushed again to late November.

I also had my GP appt today who said there was no way a GP could prescribe progesterone and it had to come from EPU. So will ask them about it tomorrow and have booked a follow up GP call for Wednesday incase EPU say go back to GP etc.

Troptolate · 20/05/2024 18:03

Hi @DaringlyDizzy
is there any way you could get a private prescription from somewhere - private GP or IVF clinic - if EPU doesnt give u it.
Although i’m not bleeding I got progesterone for my current (natural) pregnancy from the IVF clinic I was with last year.
EPU was saying they couldn't give it until there was a heartbeat seen but by then I may have started bleeding again like i did in my previous 2 MC’s.
There is a private health clinic here in Scotland who I would have tried to give me progesterone if IVF clinic had refused - not sure if I would have been successful or not though.
Worth a try? Wishing you the best xx

Lemonyfire · 20/05/2024 18:13

@DaringlyDizzy I'm so sorry and can only imagine how worried you are.
I am someone who bleeds in all pregnancies and have had a similar battle with progesterone following 2 miscarriages ( promised it but GP won't prescribe) I have an appt with EPU next week

I feel very much as thought I am 'waiting to bleed' even though feeling very positive this time round

Hang tight, keep us updated. Do something lovely for yourself to take your mind off it. Thinking of you xxx

Lemonyfire · 20/05/2024 18:18

I know we've spoken about it and I'm so sorry I can't remember the person who brought it up recently but I've been on Facebook groups for my other kids and found it a really nice way to stay in touch and a bit easier than a thread.

I've set up a group if anyone is interested. It's completely private and hidden so can only join with a link

LS888 · 20/05/2024 18:38

@Lemonyfire thanks for making the group- I am also in one and a WhatsApp for my first baby. I will wait until I’ve had a scan to join the group though if that’s ok. Prefer the anonymity on here whilst it’s still early days. Hope that’s ok.
